https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tsubaki-pullover
I stopped dead at the Patina scarf.
Julissa. Pretty design and the model is knit in my favorite color!
I like the Shawl for EveryBODY by Fatimah Hinds. It looks simple enough that I could tackle it – it’s got some cables, some eyelets for texture and could be done with garter stitch or stockinette. But all the patterns look amazing!
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/shawl-for-everybody
Thanks for building and sharing the list with us!

So many beautiful designs! I already had The Long Skinny in my queue, so I am choosing that one. The ability to use up bits and pieces of yarns leftover from other projects is always an attractive feature in a project!
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-long-skinny
I LOVE Kunbi Ayo-Okanlawon’s Arewa. I’ve made two of them, one for myself and one as a gift. It is an extremely fun knit and it is a staple in my wardrobe in the summer.

Orange Love Poncho by Gaye Glasspie. She has such a sense of style and fun in her designs!
The Shawl Collar is hands down my favorite! I don’t even like using big needles & yarn, but I would make an exception and make/wear this one — it is unique, versatile, and gives us the opportunity to use a variety of techniques.
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-shawl-collar
Oops – I forgot to add the designer name. The Shawl Collar by Brandi Cheyenne Harper is hands down my favorite! I don’t even like using big needles & yarn, but I would make an exception and make/wear this one — it is unique, versatile, and gives us the opportunity to use a variety of techniques.

I love the Morowa Mitts . They have wonderful bright colors and a striking design
The shawl collar! https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-shawl-collar
Hi I would like to try the Hestia slippers. They look wonderful!!!
Thanks for the great list! I was attracted immediately to the Hestia Slippers https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hestia-slippers and going there in Ravelry found it is in 52 Weeks of Socks! I have that tome right here by my chair, yay. And reading through Ravely’s some of the notes by makers, I found a link to published errata for mot just the slippers but other patterns in that book. Soooo helpful! Such a cool book and the slippers are gorgeous. Whoever thought of adding thrums to slippers?! This clever designer did!
Fatimah Hinds has been catching my attention lately. I really love Shawl for EveryBODY mentioned above. End to end construction and built in edges are great design features. I think I’ll be making it with some yarn I picked up from Lakisher Hurst f Sassy Black Yarns https://www.sassyblackyarns.com/
Gaye Glasspie’s Reversible Diamonds is gorgeous, even if it’s not shown in orange – which her signature color if you follow Gaye on Instagram (and you should – ggmadeit for thoughtful, beautiful, and honest posts).
Morowa Mitts by Sylvia Watts-Cherry
Uhura by Connie Chang Chinchio is my favorite summer tank top. I love her designs!
On the main page for this give-away, there are some slippers–for the feet–yes. Can’t get to the pattern because I can’t find a way to filter the search. Sad because I have been looking for a slipper pattern.
The morowa mitts are not only beautiful, but a great way to use up some
stash.
Yumiko Alexander is a genius in my book. Her designs are flattering to different bodies, her instructions are clear, and the garment construction is clever. My new favorite: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bamboo-13#
Care for a little crochet with a clever new stitch? This one, by Jen Dettelbach, https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/lines-stripes–coffee-oh-my

Too many to pick, but I also love Julissa.
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/julissa
https://ravel.me/the-rose-that-grew-from-concrete
I made this shawl. It is awesome! Has a very creative lace section, but it is just a small panel as I am not big on lace knitting. I never have a lifeline and I almost always make a mistake! It has bobbles, a beautiful edging. It’s great!!!
I love Bhakti by Nidhi Kansal (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bhakti). What a beautiful shawl!
Right now, I’m working on Quill Tee. It’s a simple, but delicate design and it highlights the La Bien Aimee yarn that I’m using.
Thank you for reminding me about the Patina Scarf by Jeanette Sloan. I loved it when I first saw it but it sadly got buried in my queue.
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/patina-scarf-2

It’s hard to pick my favorite pattern from Jennifer Berg. Eye Dazzler and Sheep camp Sweater are both gorgeous.
I had to add the Eye Dazzler link too!
So many of these patterns are already in my library, favorites and queue! yamagara’s Lapis tee is a perfect way to use up a single skein of variegated yarn (that’s NOT a shawl or cowl!), and I have yarn set aside for it.
A non-Ravelry resource that includes a pattern currently on my needles: Radicle Threads magazine. I’m knitting the incredible Braiding Sweetgrass socks from Issue 1.
https://radiclethreads.com/
So many in my to-make list! And discovering more. But, Vanessa Smith’s Farpoint Shawl holds a special place in my heart. Just searching for that perfect science green https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/farpoint
I have to say, I think Denise Bayron’s Wave of Change is just dreamy! And while she’s not necessarily a designer, I really enjoy Dana Williams-Johnson’s columns.

I’m absolutely in love with this sweater by Vanessa Smith! I don’t know that I would have found it without this list. I don’t typically look at worsted weight sweaters but with our upcoming move to the PNW this is sure to be needed.
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/julissa

Marowa Mitts by Sylvia Watts-Cherry is what I’d pick straight away off this list!
My choice is the Overthrow Wrap by Joji Locatelli
How to choose? So many beautiful patterns! I finally chose https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-peaceful-people-hat because it is not only beautiful, but I could knit it up quickly enough to be wearing it before winter is over.
Loved settling in to these great suggestions – some new to me, some familiar and on my favorites list.
Jacob’s Pullover is definitely my favorite – it features my favorite neckline. I also favorited the Hestia Slippers and the Lemon Sorbet Shawl.

I’ll be making both!

How hard to choose just one favorite! Thank you for sharing this list- my Ravelry faves have grown. There were some names I knew but so many more I didn’t and I’m glad to. I am really wanting Kiyomi Burgin’s Fredericton shawl collared cardigan to fill a hole in my wardrobe. And it looks like it comes in so many sizes. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fredericton

I didn’t even realize she was a BIPOC designer.
Also, after I got over my initial embarrassment over loving Tiktok, I am amazed at the BIPOC creators I am finding on that platform! I had no idea, for instance, how many Black men are out there creating beautiful knit and crochet pieces. Mind blown and I am here for all of it!
Love Jeannette Sloan, and thanks for exposing me to people that others have suggested! Might go on a pattern shopping spree!
I like this cardigan with feathers very much and I hope one day to knit it and wear it with full pleasure https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/quill-5

I cannot wait to start making Jennifer Berg’s Eye Dazzler, as it evokes many NM childhood memories. I would like to make several of her cowls as well, having had opportunity to visit Acoma and other Pueblos. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/eye-dazzler-sweater

Denise Bayron’s design for the Grace pullover hits all the marks for me. I’ve been thinking (dreaming) about just this very look: the no-rib edge, the high neckline, and most especially the cable front panel. It’s perfect! A must knit for me!
