Dear y’all,
If you’re reading this, then we’re guessing that the blog is unbusted. If you’re not reading this, well, never mind THAT IS SO CONFUSING!
Thank you for the cards, letters, casseroles, and rolls of duct tape. We are actually on the cusp, the verge, the very edge of some exciting blogginess (which autocorrects to “bloodiness” which isn’t all that wrong when you get right down to it). So please stay tuned! You can’t get rid of us that easily!
Love,
Ann n Kay

  • But Ann! But Kay! We missed you…
Are you two writing another book? (PLEASE?)

  • You’re back! Thank goodness.

  • Welcome back! We missed you.

  • I was so worried! Glad you’r back.

  • Well – yes and no. You’re back if I click to the link for this particular post from Ravelry, or if I use the link to your blog from my blog, but not if I try the masondixonknitting.com link from Ravelry or from my bookmarked link. Does this help?

  • Which one of you is Lucy and which one is Ethel?

  • Yay, we all love a good surprise.

  • Glad you are back! Whew!

  • Gotcha. Loud and clear.

  • Dear Ann n Kay,
    Welcome (nearly) back!
We’ve missed you, bloody or non-bloody blogging and all.
    Pam

  • Whew!
    🙂

  • Awww (Kathy in DC said it all). We would NEVER wish to get rid of you guys. Your efforts make our days brighter. Hope that light comes back to you in some way.

  • What happened to the tumbler link? Was a super cute photo. Went to show someone and it was gone.

  • Thank goodness. I was getting withdrawal symptoms.

  • A couple of hours ago, your blog link brought up only links to retail sites. Nothing else. I thought you had sold out to the “almighty dollar”!
Glad to know you’re still there, Lucy and Ethel, even though you’re upside down.

  • Some times, you can just entertain yourself typing in names…and seeing what autocorrect does to them.

  • Wahoo!

  • Wahoo!

  • Whew! I was ready to send out a search party, oh wait…that’s what MDK was for a while. Soooo glad you’re back!!

  • Thank heavens !!! I was worried. Can’t wait to see what the surprise is.

  • So good to see y’all!!

  • Yay!! Can’t wait for more!

  • So nice to hear from you again–I’ve missed you both!

  • Welcome back ladies. You were missed.

  • Welcome back ladies. You were missed.

  • So good to know that you haven’t fallen off the edge of the planet. Your knitting and humor have been missed.

  • So glad you’re back, I was missing you! Can’t wait for the new, improved blog. (Although, I wonder how it is you improve on perfection…) btw, love, love, love the blog photo!

  • Waiting with bated breath!

  • Well, hey there, strangers! You got some splainin to do? 😉

  • Whew…I thought you were gone–maybe on another trip and didn’t tell us! So glad to see you’re back 🙂

  • Been away myself recently, so didn’t know you were missing. Loved the autocorrect comment. Can be a source of great annoyance, or hilarious entertainment. Now that I know you were gone, very glad to see you back!

  • So glad that you’re un-busted! I’ve missed your blog posts.

  • oh thank goodness….

  • Glad you’re back! So sorry to hear you were busted ~ I just thought you must be having a good old-fashioned summertime laze. Can’t wait for some exciting news too!

  • So glad to hear you’re OK. Miss your sweet words. Blogginess is totally a word, tell autocorrect to stuff it.

  • I’m glad that everything appears to be going aOK here (or at least now). I hope you have a new book out. I have loved your last two (or is it more, brain is losing its marbles over here).

  • Hello? Hello? Is this thing on?! ; )

  • Please, please hurry back! I miss you both!

  • Can’t wait to hear your news.

  • Uh oh, more casseroles and duct tape on the way!

  • Laughed at bloodiness. My Kindle Fire always changes blog to blot.

  • Ladies??????

  • Huh?

  • Has this blog run it’s course?

  • Missing you horribly. Hoping all is well and wondering what the news is!

  • Ladies, missing you out here in Internet land! I need a Modern Daily knitting humor fix. Come back soon.

  • Ditto!

  • Hey, my calendar says that it’s August! I’m worried that this “cusp/verge/edge” thing might be going past its sell-by date!
Please come back! We miss you!

  • Looking deep within myself I realize that I have always thought of you two as Lucy & Ethel. (I love them a lot, too).
    I bet they were knitters.

  • Oh dear, they might have gone to the rapture; garter stitch, denim yarn, and all things random-cable. I hope it wasn’t a geothermal event.
