Postcard from TNNA
Dear Ann,
As you know, because you’re here, we’re at TNNA in Washington, D.C., for the weekend. So far, it’s been a lot of hugging and kissing, meeting and greeting, and sitting and knitting.
You meet the randomest people. Here are Clara Parkes and Franklin Habit, the filling in a Modern Daily Knitting sandwich of love.
A milestone has been reached.
(Note how the center strip perfectly matches the bricks of Ninth Street, NW.)
I have reached Color 3 on my Fort Tryon Wrap. It’s going well, but slower than I expected. Apart from messing up the increases on one of the corners, it’s the perfect project for knitting on the go, i.e., whilst drinking and yapping away about knitting.
If you’re at TNNA this weekend, stop and say hello. There’s plenty of yapping left to yap.

So wish I could join you. I am actually flying through DC this morning. So close but yet so far.
Meanwhile, I’ve been in New Zealand for the last two weeks, reading your posts every night at exactly 9 PM, 4 AM CDT, just as they pop up on my screen with my mail. They’ve made me feel at home these last 14 days. Thanks, girls. Alas, tonight is my last night down under, unless you count tomorrow which will actually last for 42 hours. Love you, Judy
