What’s more fun on a long weekend than scheming and dreaming about our next knitting project?

Nothing! It’s the best thing.

In the interest of getting you to that dreamy place, we’ve got a giveaway for you.

We just introduced our new yarn, Jane, with a lookbook so epic that it almost ended up being two lookbooks. Fifteen designs from favorite designers, all shown in glorious Jane.

Curl up with the Jane lookbook right here.

What’s the giveaway?

Your Mission: Pick Your Favorite Design

Please leave a comment with your pick for the Jane lookbook design you’d most like to make. If you envision your project in a different Jane palette from the one shown in the lookbook, include your color picks in your comment. And size.

Deadline for entries is Monday, September 1, 11:59 Pacific time. One entry per person, please. On Tuesday, September 2, we’ll randomly select five winners from the comments, and each will each receive the yarn for the project they named.

Fun, right?

We’ll contact winners via email.

Can’t wait to see your picks! And thanks so much for giving Jane a warm welcome this week. We’re heartened to hear all the response to this lookbook—thank you, everybody who’s loving this collection of 15 projects from great designers we admire.

Love,

Ann and Kay

  • It was very hard to decide! But…. I love the Livresque in the colours shown and in size 3.

    Fingers crossed.

    • Love the Esther sweater in size medium. Petiteknit is one of my favorite designers and I was planning on knitting up the Esther mini for my twins!

      • I love the Winter Suns! Grays and plummy.

    • Everything is so beautiful but if I really really had to choose it would be the Livresque cardigan in exactly the colours presented in the picture. In size 3 please. Wow what am amazing prize!! Thank you.

    • I’m still learning, so I love the Esther sweater. Size M in Aubergine would be amazing!

      • I love a great cardigan! I would knit the Livresque Cardigan in dark brown with beige stripes, size 8, as a nod to my dad’s favorite sweater that I love to wear.

      • Thank you for offering the giveaway. Outline Tee would be great for Florida, medium size in Aubergine, please.

    • I’m an artist and love Paul Klee’s work, so that sweater calls my name. My inspiration is Klee’s watercolor “Föhn Wind: In Marc’s Garden”.
I’d make a size small; MC: Shadow; CCs: scarlet, peony, persimmon, heather, cameo, juniper, aubergine and bluebell.

      • I love BFL x Masham, curious to try a Merino x Masham yarn, thanks for the opportunity!

I’d be interested in knitting the Robinia Light in size 6 with MC Juniper and CC Peony.

      • This yarn is begging to be made into colorwork, so I would love to make the Halibut sweater! I love the colors of the sample, but I’m thinking Bluebell and Yorkshire (size 4). Thanks for the giveaway!!

        • Having to choose just one pattern is very difficult. Nivalis- half size – the colors shown are beautiful but I can imagine it in an array of color combos!

    • Here’s the Jane project that has my heart right now: Outline T, XL, Juniper. Swoon!

      • Paul Klee has my heart because of an old museum poster in my childhood family room.

        MC Shadow
        CC As-shown

    • There are several things I’d like to make, but I’ll pick Eweai. I’ve never seen anything like it!

      • Ooohh! Beautiful options! I’d go with Robina Light, size 4. Marigold MC, Heather CC.

      • *Oops, “eweye”

    • Wow! Such beauty. I have been eyeing the Paul Klee sweater pattern on ravelry forever so it would have to be that one in an XL. Love the colours in the Lookbook.

    • I love the Halibut sweater. Can’t wait to make it!

      • Hi. I would pick the Pressed Flowers Pullover. Size 2. MC: juniper, CC: Cameo.
Thank you for the beautiful lookbook and the giveaway.

        • Everything is so beautiful but if I really really had to choose it would be the Livresque cardigan in exactly the colours presented in the picture. In size 3 please. Wow what am amazing prize!! Thank you.

        • I would love to make the Esther sweater! That color so caught my eye and seed stitch has always been my favorite. Size- XL
Thank you for the opportunity to win!!

    • DK Jane looks lovely! I would love to make the Outline Tee to have a layering piece (so functional in my cold state of Vermont) to add to my winter wardrobe. I would choose Yorkshire to insure it’s versatile wearability.

      • The halibut sweater in shadow and juniper, size 4

        • All fantasies knits, but my favorite at the moment is the Pressed Flowers Pullover! Size 2 in Shadow and Cameo.

    • Omg! Choices! So many beautiful colors, patterns and textures!
I love the Livresque Cardigan. The color palette shown is gorgeous. I would also do the Shadow as the main color and Juniper, Cameo, and Yorkshire as the secondary stripe colors. I would make size 3 for a slightly oversized fit.

    • Ooh! So hard to pick a project because they’re all fabulous, but I think I have to try the Eweye shawl in Aubergine, Heather, and Bluebell with Aubergine as the dominant color. Hoping I’ll get lucky!

      • Living in Florida the Outline Tee would be perfect. Something that could be worn year round.

        Size X large

    • What a fun way to engage with “Jane”!
Halibut, size 3 – Yorkshire for main, Shadow for the fish, and one skein Persimmon to “pop” those accent designs.

      • Such a challenging choice! I would love to knit Pressed Flowers!

      • So many extraordinary choices!
The Paul Klee sweater in adult large hits all the high notes!

        • I love the Halibut sweater! Can’t wait to make it.

        • Hello Jane! . You and I are going to be besties! Our first project can be a Pressed Flowers Pullover in size three. I think we’d be gorgeous in juniper and cameo.

        • I absolutely love the Livresque cardigan in the colorway given! Size 5, please.

    • So many lovely choices! I’ll choose Robina Light, size 2, in Bluebell for MC and Yorkshire for CC.

  • I’d love Halibut Sweater by Caitlin Hunter in the colours shown, size 4. I live by the sea – what could be better!

    • I just love Pressed Flowers! I would knit size 6, with Shaddow as MC and Persimmon as CC. Yummy!

      • Over 100 entries at 7 a.m.! I am not the only one still in bed and on it! Dream sweater….Halibut! Main color in Shadow with contrast in Persimmon please. Size 3. I will be waiting! 🙂

        • Your yarn looks divine! I would love to make the halibut sweater in a size 3 with bluebell as a background and heather for the fish. I remember seeing my first halibut on the way up to Alaska many, many years ago. The cold misty grey weather and these magnificent fish hanging fresh off the boats. This sweater reminds me of that trip. Top down knitting is the best!

  • How exciting! I’m all in for the Halibut sweater, size 8, silver for the halibut and blue for the ocean it swims in. I can;t wait to knit and wear this piece of folk art.

  • Halibut! Size 3!

  • I love this yarn. <3

And would love to knit the Outline Tee (Large, Yorkshire colour). A perfect item for fall!

    Jane

  • Like Ann, I’d start to learn mosaic with the Pressed Flower pullover in size 2. As for color, I think I’d try shadow as the main and bluebell as the contrast!

    • So many great options. My favorite is the Robinia Light, size 3. Love the colors presented in the Lookbook.

    • Nothing plain about this gorgeous Jane! The designers made it difficult to select just one pattern. I have always loved the Pressed Flowers cardigan. After all the green cables and fluffy wips of the summer, I am ready for Amy’s mosaic genius and color selection. If I win, I would make a size 5 for that comfy, vintage vibe.

  • Oh! I love all the patterns but right now the Livresque cardigan speaks to me now. Like the choice of gray with fall spark colors! This booklet with pattern suggestions is a great idea! Thanks for the work that went into it.

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater. The yarn is absolutely beautiful.

  • I’m a cardigan gal, The Livresque. I also like it in the colors shown, size 2.

  • Oooh! I would love to make the Rhinebeck scarf of many colors to match the logo for 2024. I live in Florida, so the DK weight is great. I would need 5 yorkshire for the body and one each on scarlet, bluebell, marigold and juniper for the stripes of many colors.

  • The Halibut Sweater in size 2. For the halibut!

  • I love everything, but would start with Esther Sweater by Petite Knit.

  • Oooooh Snip Scarf colors as shown.

  • Very hard to decide, but I’d like the Robinia Light in size 3. Love the colors!

  • Love so many of them but the Robinia light would be my pick!

  • Snipscarf! I’d keep the colors the same.

  • Oh, easy choice: the pressed flowers pullover! I made the socks earlier this year and they’re hands down my favorite socks!!

Size 2 in juniper (MC) and marigold (CC).

  • Copenhagen Calling in peony and shadow.

  • I’ve had Halibut in my Ravelry library for a while now, I would totally love knitting that up in aubergine with peony contrast. Drool. Salivate. Size 3 please. (Lots of Halibut requesters, I see… that Caitlin Hunter is a very gifted designer)

    • OMG! The Halibut Sweater!!! I HAVE to make it. In Juniper with Gold halibut. I love the gray and gold, but I have three gray sweaters already and need a green one. And my puppy’s name is Juniper. She’s named after a calico cat I lived with, so the sweater with Halibut has to be in Juniper. In size 4. I can’t wait to try Jane. If it’s anything like Atlas you’ll have another hit.

  • Love the SSP Shawl in those same colors. I would not have chosen those colors, but they sure work together in that shawl!

  • Livrescue cardigan in Marigold with Juniper stripes.

  • I would absolutely love my own Halibut, with 10 skeins of Shadow, and 3 of Peony, for a size 3 big, warm and awesomely fun sweater!

  • I love the Snip Scarf. While I’ve not tried an intarsia pattern, this one looks doable and fun. Jane is a beautiful yarn!

  • All the designs are beautiful but the Robinia Light size 3 in the colors shown is my favorite.

  • I really like the shawl “Copenhagen Calling” by Isabell Kraemer. I love the colour combination she was using.

  • Everything is so beautiful in the Jane yarn that it is hard to pick one design! But the Esther sweater is so exquisite that I must pick it and in that gorgeous color. Than you.

  • So many lovely items but I love (love) Robinia Light by Anne Ventzel the very (very) most. Absolutely stunning. Size 3.

Did I mention how much I love (love) all the yarn colors? You could send yarn in the featured colors or any combo you like. I would wear every single one of them!

Congrats Ann and Kay…a truly defining project. XO

  • Oh My these patterns really make the yarn pop I find it hard to pick one pattern let alone pick colours! But I have the Halibut sweater in my queue and doing it in Jane sounds heavenly! I’d make it with Aubergine MC and Cameo CC in size 5
    Good luck everyone!

  • Hard to choose, but my choice is the Livresque Cardigan. I would keep the main color in Bluebell but do all the stripes in Yorkshire. Size 2.

  • Oh wow – what an amazing prize to introduce Jane!
I’m partial to the Livresque Cardigan in size 3 – the sample colours are already perfection!

  • Definitely pressed flower pullover

  • Wow, gorgeous designs, but I’ll go with Livresque, colors shown, size 3. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Wonderful colors and designs, which makes it hard to pick one favorite.
A cardigan is still on my list of to knit things so I will go with the ‘Livresque Cardigan by Espace Tricot , in Size 6 with main color Scarlet and for the stripes Marigold, Persimon and Shadow. That would be an exiting combination.

  • Copenhagen calling in Shadow and Bluebell.

  • One of all of them, please!

But, really…I would probably start with the SSP Shawl! Move on to the Halibut Sweater from there! And, then, I would like to make the Pressed Flowers Cowl!

The only colour change I would consider making for the SSP Shawl would be swapping the green for the rose. However, every colour of this Jane yarn is beautiful…I think this is an AMAZING palette…and, the yarn looks like it will be wonderful to knit with…well-done!!!

  • I’d love to make the Pressed Flowers in Scarlet and Yorkshire… Size 2

    • The Nivalis Wrap looks so interesting and cozy! And the color palette in Jane is exactly what I would choose.

      Good luck everyone!

  • Going fishing for halibut with Caitlin Hunter in Shadow and Yorkshire. Hope we catch one!

    • Size 5

  • This yarn looks lovely, I would knit the Livresque Cardigan in the colors chosen in size 4. Thank you for this giveaway, it’s just what we all need, so much fun!!

  • SSP shawl-(fun and beautiful!). Colors as shown in the LookBook. This launch of gorgeous Jane and amazing patterns was so much fun! Thanks!

  • OH…Pressed Flowers Pullover has been in my fav/queue list for a while now. I would be making size 3 in colors Aubergine & Peony or Scarlet & Marigold or…choosing the color is sooooo hard!

  • The SSP Shawl. It looks so fun and cozy.

  • The Paul Klee sweater speaks to me just as shown. Size L.

  • Fun! I would make Livresque, size 4 in Aubergine, persimmon, marigold and bluebell

  • I want to make the pressed flowers or robinia sweater I made a pressed flower shawl and I love the pattern

    • Size 3 oops forgot to add that

  • I think Robinia Light would be pretty smashing in Aubergine for main and Juniper for the contrast. I’d make size 4. I’m excited to see this new Jane.

  • I am a huge Amy Christoffers fan. I have knit several of her cardigan patterns and Pressed Flowers has been in sights for a while.

  • This one is easy for me-I’ve been wanting to make a shawl, something cleverly designed and colorful. Winter Suns immediately caught my eye! I’d make it in the large size in the colors shown.

  • Robina in size 3. Shadow as main and scarlet for the contrast. Size 3. Amazing pattern and yarn.

  • The
Pressed Flower Pullover calls to me; I’ve done mosaic scarves and shawls but not a sweater. I do like the colors shown but might consider shadow with persimmon. Size 3

  • As much as I am focusing on knitting sweaters, I would love to knit Eweye.

  • OMG, I must make Copenhagen Calling in the exact colors of the model. It’s absolutely beautiful and I am sure that my other cowls and scarves will make room for it in the drawer where they all live. Can’t wait!

  • Hi. I would love to make the Paul Klee Sweater in XL.

    Thank you

  • Robinia Light, size 3, Juniper MC and Yorkshire CC. Im excited to work with Jane soon.

  • I love the Paul Klee sample. I would make it in XL and while I debated doing different colors, I actually love the juniper green as the main color.

  • I am completely intrigued by Eweye. Colors: Bluebell, Aubergine, and Yorkshire.

  • I’m definitely going to knit the Eweye shawl. I love how different it looks from traditional shawls and the pattern looks intricate. A clever design!

  • Funny – I answered this question in my head the other day while flipping through the Lookbook!
When getting to know a new yarn I want to knit something simple in a color that makes me smile: an XL Outline Tee in Peony.

  • They are all beautiful! I would have to start with Copenhagen Calling in the colors shown…Juniper and Cameo. Just gorgeous!! And of course my name is Jane!

    • Can I pick the mystery sweater – the gray patterned one with the orange cuffs on the top of the sweater stack pictured in the lead photo to this article? I love those colors and I’m mighty intrigued; I could not find it in the lookbook.

From the lookbook, I choose the Paul Klee, but I would want the main color to be Heather and add Marigold to the CC in its place. My size is M2.

I’ve also been dreaming on how to use Jane in Djo by Sophie Ochera.

  • Really really hard to choose but Halibut size 4 in the green and gold

  • Paul Klee sweater in size XL in the colors as shown.

  • I like a lot of the patterns but I would pick first the Outline Tee in a medium. Can’t wait to try out your new yarn.

  • I love the winter suns shawl large in the colors shown. It will be a nice pop of color to knit this winter.

  • I think “winter suns” is my immediate favorite. Very hard to pick just one! This is an incredible set of patterns for a scrumptious looking yarn

    • In the colors shown! Forgot to say that

  • Robinia light in the colors shown size 3. Fingers crossed!

  • I love all the sweaters but Robinia Light is my favorite. I am a size 4 and the sample colors are lovely but I would reverse them making the background color the natural shade and green the accent stripes.

  • Paul Klee in XL!

  • Robinia Light in size 3! I would knit it in the colors shown — juniper/yorkshire because I love that green!

  • After watching the zoom, I would love to make the pressed flowers pullover in a size 2. I would use juniper as the main color, and aubergine for the flowers!

  • The Esther Sweater in Yorkshire is just beautiful! I would knit the Small size for me. Can’t wait to try this new yarn!

  • All the projects are just gorgeous! The test knitters did an excellent job! I would choose the Esther sweater in a size large and I would use Jane in the scarlet, red is my favorite color and this is a perfect red color.

  • I love the comfy looking Esther sweater. Im thinking persimmon in a large would be lovely!

  • Ooh so many choices!! But I’d have to go fo the Paul Klee pullover as pictured in M1! Thanks Ann and Kay!

  • I love Copenhagen Calling and would make it in Aubergine for color 1 and Cameo foe color 2.

    • I’ve been admiring the Robinia sweaters on IG for months! Would love to make Robinia Light, size 4, in Cameo (MC) and Scarlet (CC). ❤️

  • So hard to decide, but Robinia Light in colors shown size 3.

    • Paul Klee in size M2 in that beautiful aubergine. Any of the other colors would look great for the CC. So gorgeous,

  • The lookbook is a brilliant way to introduce your new yarn, my name sake. I couldn’t believe there was a Paul Klee inspired sweater!!! I kept going back to it. I have loved his work since I discovered him as a preteen. I would very happily knit and wear it in the colours used…and a size L.

  • This yarn looks so cozy! Would love to make a beautiful Pressed Flower sweater!

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater! how lovely to see a yoke worked in those little squares. I’d make it in size large

  • I’d love to make the Livresque cardigan. I’d use Shadow as the main colour, and Scarlet, Aubergine and Yorkshire as the stripes. I’d make it in size 4.

  • Hi, I would love to knit the Liveresque cardigan. Your w/e notes are what I wait for with delight. I have been knitting for as long as I can remember( I am 74) and still love the joy of starting something new and almost cry coming up to the finish as the creating is the best bit, then of course someone gets to wear it. Maybe even me!

    • Size 3.

  • I would definitely knit the Pressed Flowers sweater in Juniper, wi5h Aubergine as the contrasting color! Both are such rich colors an would contrast beautifully.
    This yarn looks absolutely yummy!!!!

  • Outline Tee
    Juniper
    Medium

I will be home alone dog sitting Thanksgiving weekend. This will be a perfect knitting companion.

  • I’d wear the heck out of Pressed Flowers in Juniper and Yorkshire in the second size.

  • The SSP shawl is striking! The scarlet is calling me as a main color.
Heather, persimmon, peony, marigold, and Yorkshire as contrasts would be lovely.
This look book is stunning! I would love the pages as a screen saver. The items are beautifully knit.

  • It would have to be Halibut in the classic combination of red and white. The main body in scarlet with the fishes in Cameo. My size is 42 chest, so size 4 looks best, adding the recommended positive ease

  • The pressed flowers sweater…..that gold and purple….yummy!

  • Paul Klee in M1. Absolutely perfect in Jane.

  • Such a hard question so early in the morning! Pressed Flowers, size 5, Cameo and Juniper. Thanks so much for having this giveaway!

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater. I would wear a Large and I would trade out the main color for Aubergine. I don’t think I could pull off that green.

  • I love the richness of the colors. I’ve been exploring the woven look in knitting, so it’s time to try EWEYE! I would knit it in Persimon, Marigold, and Shadow – like sunshine against a lowering sky.

  • Congratulations on your beautiful new yarn and a gorgeous LookBook. Every project is enticing!

I would choose Livresque in the colors shown in size 2.

  • So many choices!!! Copenhagen Calling in scarlet and peony. Thank you

  • Oh… Ann & Kay & MDK,
You have NO IDEA what a difficult task you’ve put to me!! LOL!
    To explain:
My husband rolls his eyes (with affection) because I can NEVER decide at a restaurant what I want, so I usually narrow it down to 2 options & ask the server for their recommendation. I don’t think this has ever failed me… but it won’t work here.
Additionally, I almost NEVER knit a pattern as written or in the same colorways as shown.
So… In my nefarious clever scheme-iness raised to it’s highest, here is my solution.

Robinia Light Sweater Sz 6 (could work for either my husband OR my S-I-L)
    BUT…
I’m aiming to do a pseudo fade on the main colour so rather than 10 of ONE colour,
    I’m looking at:
    MCs
    Bluebell – 4
    Cameo – 3
    Yorkshire – 3 (total 10)
    CCs
    Aubergine -4
    Peony – 3
    Heather – 1 (total 8)

THEN… IF I change my mind, when I change my mind, I have colourways to play with.
BUT… If I DON’T change my mind, I’ll have one showstopper of a sweater for somebody I love very much!

  • For the halibut:
    MC – Bluebell
    With Yorkshire fish
    Sz 4

  • My first knit in my namesake yarn (!) would be the Paul Klee sweater in the colors shown in size L. Love it!

  • So hard to choose just one! But I am longing to make the Pressed Flowers Pullover. I would do it in Bluebell and Marigold.

    • In size 5.

  • SSPS Shawl in the same colors as the Lookbook

  • Ewe ye for the win!!

  • Love the Esther sweater in size medium in the color pictured!

  • The Paul Klee sweater in size Small in the colors shown – what a fabulous version!!!

  • Eweye in Scarlet (Mc1,) Marigold (CC1) and Permisson (cc2)
    What wild textural wrap!

  • I am not sure how anyone could pick one or two projects. Holy cow. I love them all, but I am intrigued by the Tee. I haven’t tried making this garment yet. I would make a large and just love the color it is in. Pick me! Please!!

  • How I’ve been pining to work on a pressed flowers pattern since I first saw it ….BUT in the look book, Nivalis looks stunning …. And a full sized wrap for a Georgia winter – perfect! I’d go with a classic black/white-ish combo and choose Shadow and Yorkshire. (Cause more options with all my winter colors)

  • Good morning ☀️
All the designs are beautiful….the Halibut Sweater (in size 3, original colorway) really calls its siren song.

It reminds me of my first yoke sweater, now tattered and much mended. It might actually be time for a fresh sweater…. The Halibut!

  • Would love to make Pressed flowers size 7
    MC blue CC persimmon

  • Had a hard time choosing between SSP Shawl and Robina Light. Am thinking SSP because I love the design in the color choices as is. I would never have chosen them and yet they are gorgeous together. So it will be a new yarn adventure and a color adventure, too!

  • Pressed Flowers. Cameo (9 skeins) and Yorkshire (5 skeins) in a size 5. I’ve wanted to make that pattern forever!

  • They’re all spectacular but if I had to pick just one it would be Robinia in Aubergine (MC) and Yorkshire (CC) in sz 4. I also enjoy reading the comments and seeing the different color combos people are choosing. Wonderful!

  • Robinia light in the sample colors or aubergine and heather size 4. All the colors are so lovely.

  • The Halibut sweater is my favorite- I’d love to knit that in Juniper and Yorkshire, size 4. What a fun sweater!

  • Eweye, but with bluebell, cameo, and Yorkshire. I love blues and gray together!

  • I would love to make Copenhagen Calling in peony (main color) and marigold. All of the colors are gorgeous! I look forward to seeing them in person. Great job and thank you for the giveaway.

  • I would make the Pressed Flowers sweater in size 5 with shadow as the main color and heather as the contrast!

  • It’s a tough choice, but I have been thinking about the Paul Klee sweater since I first saw it several years ago. I love it because it reminds me of a Hawaiian lei. (most of my family is living on Kauai, Maui, and Oahu and I live in New England). All of the Jane colors just make me happy…

  • Comment for the Giveaway
    Esther sweater in red please.

    • In size small (addendum)

  • I would make the Halibut sweater in Aubergine and marigold

    • Such a hard choice -both pattern and colors! I think I’d make the Pressed Flower Pullover in Juniper (MC) and Persimmon (CC). Size 3 .
But, I also want to knit the Esther Sweater and Eweye!

  • I am torn between the Pressed Flowers Pullover and the Paul Klee Pullover (both have been in my Ravelry favorites for a long time!). If I had to do one… Paul Klee would come first. I would use the same yoke colors, but would choose Shadow for the body. (size L)

  • It’s difficult to pick just one, but the Robinia Light is the one I keep going back to. Love the color combo so I wouldn’t change a thing!

  • Paul Klee sweater. So cool!

  • Many lovely sweaters. I would knit the Paul Klee sweater, size large, in the colors shown.

  • Beautiful colors and designs! I would love to knit the Copenhagen Calling shawl. In blue and gray!

  • Very difficult decision.
I will choose Pressed Flower size 3 Aubergine MC and Yorkshire CC

    Thank you!

  • So lovely! I would knit the Robinia Light, Size 2, but in the colors of the Halibut Sweater- Shadow & Marigold

  • Pressed Flowers – size 2, in Shadow and Peony (CC). I’ve never done mosaic knitting – it’s time to learn!

  • A very hard task first thing in the morning. But I think I’d go for the Livresque cardigan. Sounds French, and we head to France in a week!

  • Eweye – I’m not a big shawl knitter but that one sure looks interesting and challenging! It was a hard choice – I loved every pattern!

  • Winter Suns

  • So hard to choose just one….but I’d love to dive in with a Copenhagen Calling in my favorite color combo of aubergine and juniper!

  • Outline tee, XS, love the sample color1

  • I would love to make the Livresque Cardigan in size 2 with the colours shown. It was calling out to me during the zoom meeting on Wednesday! Thanks for introducing your new yarn, can’t wait to try it.

  • I already own the Paul Klee pattern but have been waiting for an appropriate yarn and I think that Jane would be the perfect fit. I think that 8 skeins of shadow plus an assortment of the other colors would make a fabulous XS sweater!!

  • Halibut has been on my “to make” list for a long time. I’d do it in Yorkshire & Persimmon!

  • Winter suns! Colors as shown, the larger size.

  • My favorite, among all the lovely patterns, is Eweye by Olga Buraya-Kefelian. I’d choose aubergine, juniper and shadow for the yarns.

  • Oh so many choices! But that Paul Klee sweater is amazing’

  • I’ve got my eye on the Livresque cardigan. I like the color choices in the cookbook and I would make it in the 40.5″ size.

  • My morning routine is to make a cup of coffee and sit in bed checking the news and emails (including my MDK email). I like to keep the house cool in winter, and I need a wrap for those wonderful early morning moments. I think Eweye in the colors shown would be absolutely perfect!

  • The Paul Klee sweater is my favorite. Body color favorite would be the purple….but all the colors are dreamy

  • Love the Livresque Cardigan! Perfect for fall. Size 5 please.

  • I’d love to knit Livresque in Yorkshire with stripe in Scarlet, Eggplant, and Persimmon, size 3.

  • I was stunned when I saw the Paul Klee Sweater by Midori Hirose. I’d knit with the colors as shown and in a size 2XL.

  • I would love to knit the Paul Klee sweater in size xl. I would prefer cameo as the main color. So cool!

  • Well this was not an easy task to pick a favorite, such a solid variety of patterns for your beautiful new yarn, so at the risk of coloring outside the lines these are my favorites in no particular order because I love them all. Robinia Light, Winter Suns, SSP Shawl and Pressed Flowers Pullover. Congratulations on your new yarn offering, it is beautiful.

  • SSP Shawl in the same colors as the Lookbook!

  • Pressed flowers
    The colors are perfect!
    Size 5
I’ve had the pattern for ages. This would be exactly what I would do!

  • Definitely the Paul Klee sweater. Size S with the beige color as the MC instead of the green. This sweater has been on my radar for a while.

  • Such beautiful patterns. The Halibut sweater is my favorite. Size M in the colors shown would be perfect. I’m anxiously awaiting receiving this book. Knitting season is upon us.

  • Narrowing it down to just one is so difficult, but I’m really intrigued by Eweye! In Bluebell, Aubergine, and Yorkshire.

  • So many wonderful choices! I love them all. But I’ve been eyeing Robinia Light
-and I love the colors you have chosen! Size 3
    Thank you!

  • I am obsessed with the Esther in Scarlet! I’d make size L. They’re all fantastic options!

  • Geez! I love several! I think my favorite is pressed flowers as pictured. But a close second is the Paul Klee sweater as is. Can’t wait to feel this yarn. It looks really squishy!

  • The SSP Shawl please! I’m Jane, named after my great grandmother.
I had the pleasure of meeting Kay @ Newbury Yarns in Boston when the first MDK book came out.

  • My favorite is Teti Lutsak’s Nivalis Wrap in the colors shown.

  • Love at first sight for me… Copenhagen Calling by Isabell Kramer! The beautiful shawl with interesting stitches and the green color palette drew me in right away. YourLookbook is delightful and the knitting information is such a thoughtful touch.

  • I love Eweye and I loved the black, white and gray. That color scheme was part of the “Look Book” yesterday. All the patterns and the yarn color choices are beautiful.

  • Copenhagen Calling in the color way shown! Maybe I can wear it there someday…

  • I have made the Halibut sweater for my husband already and just finished the pressed flowers cardigan. But I would LOVE to make the Pressed flower pullover size 3 mc Bluebell(8) and cc aubergine (3)! Watching the flowers take shape was great fun!

  • Copenhagen Calling
    Colors: Bluebell and Yorkshire

  • I have made the Halibut sweater for my husband already and just finished the pressed flowers cardigan. But I would LOVE to make the Pressed flower pullover size 3 mc Bluebell(8) and cc aubergine (3)! Watching the flowers take shape was great fun!

  • There are several that I would like to knit but I am intrigued with Eweye! I would like to do it in the blue colors with a punch of gold. I love all of the projects.

  • Robinia! Yorkshire and Marigold. Size 2.
Thank you and please pick me!

  • I was grabbed by Robinia that was being worn. Hadn’t seen that before and was frantically writing the pattern name down before I realized it was in the Look Book. Love the green, but maybe as gorgeous in the persimmon….

  • livresque cardigan

  • I would love to start with the SSP shawl!

  • I thoroughly enjoyed the Zoom and studied the lookbook so.many.times. I’ve already ordered yarn for Copenhagen Calling (and for an accessory in the new Field Guide)

I’d always wanted to make the Halibut sweater, in the ‘traditional colors’ of Shadow (MC) and Marigold (CC). In the fourth size, please.

  • Love the Halibut Sweater. Have been thinking about making it, since it came out.

  • What a challenge to pick just one project! I’m gonna go for Winter Suns, but with different colors. MC: dark gray CCs light blue, light seafoam and blush — not the pinky one the champaign one. Sorry, I haven’t memorized the color names yet. I didn’t see them in the look book.

  • I like the Livresque cardigan in the colours shown. Size 3.

  • Love the Esther sweater & that red is lovely but I always seem to go with the purples so aubergine would be my pick, size 2x

  • My rule of thumb is I’d consider buying a book if it has at least 2 patterns I’d make. Welp, Jane has at least 6. It’s so hard to pick only 1. But the first I think I’d do is the Halibut Sweater in size 3. I think I’d do Aubergine in MC and Marigold as the CC. All the patterns are lovely and I can’t wait to try Jane out.

  • I would make the Esther sweater but using the Heather color — so simple to feature the subtle shading in the yarn. I’d make an XL for this project!

  • My choice has to be:
    Livresque Cardigan by Espace Tricot
Size:5 because this just calls for being an oversized hug of a cardigan!
Colors: Shadow for the main and then stripes in Aubergine, Juniper, and Marigold

  • Congratulations on your new addition. I would love to make the halibut sweater but in aubergine and heather .

  • Thank you for your new yarn and designs. I would make Pressed Flowers with Aubergine as the main color and Persimmon for the flowers.

  • What a tough decision!! I’ve already knit some of these patterns and they are all winners. I would love to win the Robia light sweater in the colors presented since I don’t currently have a gorgeous green pull over size 3. The outline tea and halibut sweater were very close competitors!! I think I’ll be very busy this winter with these options and this lovely new yarn

  • I love the Halibut Pullover. I would knit it in the colors shown and in size #3.

  • Thank you for your new yarn and designs. I would make Pressed Flowers with Aubergine as the main color and Persimmon for the flowers.
    size 3

  • I love the Robinia Light! What an amazing booklet and the Jane yarns look yummy.
    Thank you,
    Monica

  • Thank you for your new yarn and designs. I would make Pressed Flowers sweater with Aubergine as the main color and Persimmon for the flowers.
    size 3

  • Beautiful!
I’d love the Pressed Flowers in size 6, with juniper as the main color and peony and the contrast color.

  • I love the Livresque Cardigan in the colors shown.
    Absolutely lovely!

  • Livresque Cardigan… I love cardigans!!

  • I immediately loved them all, but I think the Esther in juniper would be something I could throw on almost everyday here in the PNW…it could become my signature!

  • Robinia light
    Size 5
    Persimmo and yorkshire
    All so beautiful

  • I’ve been hankering to make Robinia Light for awhile. And I love the colors you’ve used. I’d make the second size. I hope knitters love this yarn- it’s a fantastic fiber blend.

  • Hard to choose, but the Livresque cardigan really calls to me. And I love the colors pictured! Size three.

  • I love every single one of the patterns, especially the sweaters. the Pressed Flowers is delightful, but probably beyond my brain power, even tho I’ve done a fair amount of mosaic. So I’ve decided that the Robinia light is my choice of a first dip into Jane. I love the FO’s I’ve seen on the sight from changing the wide stripes to change color on the thin strips and even a rainbow beauty. I would be doing a size 3or 4, and can’t possibly chose a color right now.

  • Hat and Peak in colors shown

  • I love the Esther Sweater in the colorway shown, size L. This was a great way to dive into the look book.

  • I would love to make the Paul Klee sweater! Size M2, main color Shadow please!

  • Winter Suns! I would use Yorkshire as the base, with the three contrast colors being Shadow, Bluebell and Aubergine. I also think a Yorkshire base with Persimmon, Bluebell and Marigold would be amazing!

  • Wow!! Jane looks like a wonderful yarn. I would do the Pressed Flower Pullover in size 2. Main color in Peony with the contrasting colors as Juniper. Can’t go wrong with these colors!!

  • Fingers crossed!!! Hard to decide, but I would love the Livresque sweater in the original colors, size 5.

  • Wow, so generous of you!
Beautiful Lookbook and yarn! I would like the Pressed Flowers Pullover Sweater (large) with Aubergine and Juniper. Thank you!

  • Ooooo I’d love to make the pressed flowers pullover in size 3. I’m thinking Cameo with Peony flowers, despite my dislike for real peonies lol

  • So many choices! I’d love Outline Tee in Large in Aubergine please if I get lucky

  • Livresque Cardigan by Espace Tricot Size 6
    Love this

  • Halibut please

Size 4, MC Shadow, CC Peony

  • Robinia Light is beautiful just the way she is (size 4, though)!

  • I’ve been wanting to make that Jessie Maed tee for ages. XL, heather.

  • I would do Esther in the size M with the color Peony. Then maybe one or two or three of the others!

  • I have loved the Pressed Flowers designs since they came out so that would be my choice. Colors are harder to pick but Juniper and Peony in size 1 jump out to me.
    Fingers crossed

  • I am eager to try the SSP Shawl. I love the color palette that Isabel selected. It makes me think of the transition times between seasons, especially summer to fall, fading pinks and blues into a warm pumpkin.

  • i love the colors and the patterns, so many choices here! i would make the paul klee swearer for my granddaughter whose middle name is jane. she would love a yarn named after her..lol.. would probably do it in heather as she likes pinks and purples in the size 4kids. love all the yarn you have.. just took advantage of the plutolopi sale! hope to hear from you soon…… knitting grandma- debbie

  • I’d love to try the Nivalis Wrap (a word auto incorrect does not like) or Rovinia.
    Decisions, decisions ….!

  • Some of the best true colors I have seen, some dyed yarn looks painted, that’s why I say these are true colors. I bet they are a pleasure to work

  • Pressed flowers, size 4, Shadow and Peony. All of the look book projects look amazing in Jane!

  • Robinia Light!

  • Always a cardigan!
    Livresque in size 4

  • PRESSED flowers pullover! I LOVE this pattern and cannot wait to make it with JANE yarn! I love the new yarn colors and look forward to feeling the new yarn’s weight. Thank you for continuing to make my knitting experience so much fun and expanding my knitting knowledge – I love what you have done to support my knitting experience!

  • Would love love love to make the Esther Sweater in that gorgeous red! Size M. The yarn looks downright delicious!

  • Oh, how to choose from this delightful assortment of designs? I think I’d start with the Paul Klee Sweater. Love the colour palette but I think I’d use a medium to dark grey for the MC. But I wouldn’t stop there!!

  • Wow! This is great! I love all the projects, but I would choose the SSP. And I love the colors you chose for this project.

  • Dear Lovely Persons,
I believe that Sunday is the 1st of September!
I would LOVE to do the Copenhagen Calling pattern in Aubergine and Heather.
    It looks SO yummy.

  • The Halibut Sweater is so fun! Would love to knit it with a purple or pink for the motif instead of yellow.

  • They are all beautiful and look so silky and soft with Jane. I would like to knit the Robinia Light size 4! Thank you!!

  • Jane looks lovely! I had a hard time picking one pattern as my favorite. So many great patterns. After much internal debate, me, myself, and I agreed on The Paul Klee Sweater. I love knitting colorwork and these colors are fun! I’d make it for myself in a Small.

  • Such fun! I would knit the Slip-stitch Party Shawl, with the MC as Shadow, then using Aubergine, Bluebell, Cameo, Yorkshire and Juniper as my contrasts. I can already feel it wrapped around me!!

  • So many good choices. I really liked the Snip scarf, looks like a fun knit but I’ve been looking for a cardigan pattern and really want to knit up the Livresque Cardigan in the size 4. Happy Knitting everyone!!

  • It’s hard to pick, but Winter Suns, in small, in the colors shown—I love everything about it!

  • I’d most like to make the Paul Klee Sweater. The color combination of the new Jane yarn is warm and vibrant — perfect for a fall knit. I would love to make it for my wife who is struggling with multiple autoimmune illnesses — it would make her smile! (Size 2x)

    Sharon

  • The Livresque! What a great way to try a new yarn! Size 6 in the colors shown.

  • Robina light in size two. MC aubergine and CC bluebell!

  • All of them are beautiful!
I would probably start with the Outline Tee in Peony. M/L size.

  • Copenhagen Calling with Aubergine and Marigold.

Absolutely stunning lookbook! Can’t wait to meet Jane in person.

  • Pressed flowers in persimmon and peony would be lovely.

  • My favorite is Esther in the color scarlet. I want an easy pattern that will knit up quickly. We are going into a busy knitting season for gifts.
Scarlet is a bright cheerful color that will take me into fall and the winter holidays.

  • Outline Tee in Persimmon, size large. Love new yarn name!!
So glad I subscribe to Field Guides-I’m currently on a week long knitting tour in Shetland and midway thru tour came down w Covid, so isolating with my knitting and able to see my new Field Guide before I return home to NJ.

  • I love the Winter Sun shawl. The colors are absolutely beautiful. the yarn looks so soft and this pattern makes you want to curl up on the couch with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate!

  • I have FOUR first choices, but will settle (for now!) on the Livresque. Size 3, Marigold, Scarlet and Persimmon (how’s that for a winter wake-up?!). Thanks for the cheerful posts, the beautiful yarn and all the projects!

  • Well, that Paul Klee sweater has been in my favorites for a while – I’d do mine in Shadow for the main color, with all the other colors playing together in the yoke. I think size M1 or M2.

  • Without question, love the Paul Klee sweater! All the color in that yoke! That’s me! The new Jane yarn looks perfect for that colorwork.

    Size M1.

  • This is my year to make a new pullover (last year was cool enough to justify wearing them) and hearing JANE was on the was I started looking at DK patterns and picked out the PRESSED FLOWERS PULLOVER, size small. I was totally tickled to see the pattern in the look book (fate?) I picked up a nice indie yarn after seeing the JANE colors that uses white, pink and gray so SHADOW is my choice. My plan is to wear it to NASH YARN in March.

  • Good morning! Such a toss up between two patterns that I adore equally! I think the compromise will be the halibut sweater with juniper as the mc and yorkshire as the cc. Loving this lookbook. Everything is beautiful.

    • replying to my own message as I forgot to mention my size! size 1 please

  • So many good options! I think I would go Robinia Light in size two with Heather as the MC and Persimmon as the contrast, so pretty!

  • I love the Liveresque cardi! Size 3, main color Yorkshire and stripes in bluebell, cameo, and shadow. Beautiful yarn and inspiration! Thanks for the fun!

  • Lovely projects and beautiful colours. If I win, I would love to make the Copenhagen Calling using Juniper and Yorkshire. Thank you.

  • I love the Outline tee. Size Large in Bluebell. So cute!

  • Do we HAVE to download the lookbook pdf and read it offline? Because that’s the only choice I get when I link through to the lookbook. All I can see is the front page – page 1 of 51 – with no controls to turn the pages.

  • No doubt I’d pick the outline tee. Gorgeous and I love the rusty color.

  • I would love love love to make Robinia Light in Size 3 with MC: Aubergine and CC: Yorkshire. It’s hard to decide on the colors – they are all so beautiful!

  • Love Robinia Delight in size 2 and the colors shown. They are all wonderful!

  • Love them all! My choice would be the Livresque Cardigan in the colors shown, size 3. Love those colors together!

  • Eweye! In the sample colors. I haven’t knit cables in a while. It looks like a challenge—-something new to learn.

  • I would love to knit the robinia light with juniper as the mc and marigold for the stripes. Size 4

  • I’d like to make Copenhagen calling in Aubergine and Heather. Hard to decide with so many lovely and inviting patterns.

  • The Paul Klee Sweater! I would use Shadow for the body and the colors shown for the yoke. Maybe add the Juniper in there too. I like my sweaters snuggly and loose so a size XL or 2Xl for me.

  • Gorgeous choices! I like Eweye in peony, aubergine, and yorkshire…or Halibut size 1 in juniper and heather.

  • I’d choose the SSP Shawl, in Aubergine, Bluebell, Cameo, Marigold, Juniper, and Yorkshire.

  • I love the Esther sweater. The red color makes it perfect for Christmas time.

  • Oh, those fish are singing my song!
I would knit the Halibut Sweater in size 3, with Yorkshire as the MC and Scarlett as the CC.
    Fingers crossed!

  • I’d love to make the Paul Klee sweater! I’d make a size L with Marigold as the main color and for contrast colors I’d go for Scarlet, Heather, Persimmon, Peony, Aubergine, Bluebell, Cameo, and Juniper!

  • As a Pisces, the Halibut Sweater is calling my name! I would make a size 3 with aubergine as the MC and bluebell as the CC.

  • I would love to make the Robinia light. The green is just soooo good. It is so hard to find the perfect green….

  • I would love to make the Robinia light. The green is just soooo good. It is so hard to find the perfect green and this is it.

  • Love the look of the Esther sweater but would knit a size large in the Peony. What a yummy color!

  • I would choose the Nivalis wrap, full size, in Yorkshire and Peony.

  • My vote is for the Pressed Flowers sweater. The technique is interesting; the pattern wearable; the yarn shows texture even in the skein. Wonderful.

  • Love the Robina light, in the colors shown, size 3

  • Jane looks lovely and I like the fiber content! I would make Livresque in size 3, but change the colors to Yorkshire for the main color and Shadow – Bluebell – Aubergine for the stripes. The pearl grey of Yorkshire is one of my favorite colors.

  • Absolutely beautiful yarn and colors! Love the SSP Shawl in colors shown!

  • Eweye is absolutely beautiful! I don’t know how I missed this pattern when it first came out, but thank you for highlighting it now with the lovely Jane!

  • Eyeballing that pressed flowers cardigan pretty hard. I love mosaic knitting. Plus my middle name is Jane so I really think this is a must do.

  • Love the textured wrap Eweye, looks like an interesting knit. I would do it in MC1 Peony (my favorite flower), MC2 Juniper (love nature), and MC3 Aubergine to give it depth.

  • I would love to do a monochromatic Eweye in Yorkshire! Would be so soft and lovely.

  • I would love the Paul Klee sweater but it was a tough choice. I would use the colors as shown on the sample.

  • Robina Light
    Size 2
    MC Peony
    CC Yorkshire

  • So many that caught my eye. My first choice would be the the Esther Sweater in the same color as the picture which is scarlet. I would be an XS.

  • SSP Shawl – looks great & perfect layer for Southeast Texas winters!

  • They’re all fantastic, but the Klee sweater is definitely the first pick for me! Size M1.

  • Wow! They’re all beautiful. Esther Sweater, please. Size L and the Bluebell colorway.

  • I would make the full-size Nivalis wrap in exactly the colors shown and enjoy wrapping it around my shoulders on a snowy night.

  • I would make the halibut sweater for my granddaughter in size 1. It’s one of her favorite fishes.

  • “Pressed Flowers!” I love the look of Jane as well!
    Colors as shone, size medium.

  • SSP shawl with the marigold subed out with aubergine. Lovely and thank you!!!

  • I desperately want to knit the Halibut sweater! I saw it at our Alaska State Fair a couple weeks ago, and was mesmerized. It’s my favorite fish, a local staple, and just a perfect sweater for here. I’d choose Bluebell and Yorkshire, since halibut are all white on the underside, and the Bluebell would work great with jeans. I love the top down style as well as it seems to fit my frame better. Put me in the mix and I’ll cross my fingers!

    • Oh, and size 3 would be perfect.

  • I would make the Pressed Flowers Pullover with Aubergine as the main color and Bluebell as the contrast color, in size 2. Anyway, that’s what I say right now. Ask me again later and I might pick two different colors of this intriguing yarn, or even a different pattern! (Actually, I did change my color choice right before posting. Twice! I’d better hurry up and post this now or else I’ll be sitting here all day changing the colors!)

  • Just how do I pick just one. I think today it has to be the halibut sweater. I am obsessed!

  • I’ve been eyeballing the halibut sweater for a while now. I’d use shadow as the Mc, like the deep north Atlantic, and cameo for the shiny fish.

  • Livresque size 4 — same colors. Great job on the look book!

  • Nivalis wrap. Love your chosen colors!!

  • Love them all! It was hard to choose, but Pressed Flowers has been in the queue for sometime now, so that is the one I would make first, size 5, in the colors as shown would be absolutely perfect

  • I would love to do the winter suns shawl!

  • That’s a great set of designs. For me, the Robinia Light sweater in size 4 in Shadow and Yorkshire. Love the scarves too.

  • I love this Jane yarn—it’s soft and squishy—just a wonderful texture! I received some last week in Cameo, Yorkshire, and Peony. The colors are lovely—deep and solidly mysterious. I would love to make the Paul Klee sweater with Shadow as the main part of the sweater and every color in the yoke. I guess I could leave off the Heather and Marigold if absolutely necessary. I would order for the XL. What a fun give-away!

  • Soooo hard to choose. But I’m going with Esther, size XS, in the beautiful gray, undyed Yorkshire.

  • I adore the livresque Cardigan
I would add. Few additional colors for the stripes. Keeping the three shown and adding 2-3 more

    Size 5

    So many other beauties

  • Wow, how to choose! It’s either Halibut as shown or in Yorkshire and Bluebell for spring, or the gorgeous Livresque with it’s many colored stripes. I think I’ll have to go with Livresque for the versatility of a cardigan. Size 3 seems right.

  • Eweye! What an incredible design. Love all the Jane colors– so vibrant!

  • I fell absolutely in love with Winter Suns, in the colorway shown in the lookbook. The large shawl would be so cozy in the winter!

  • Oh, so many lovelies in the Look book! I would love to knit the Paul Klee sweater in colors shown, size extra large.

  • Liveresque looks like the perfect cardi as shown. Size 2, please.

  • Too many beautiful, colorful patterns! I like the live rescue and the pressed flowers sweaters. Perhaps the pressed flowers in purple with a color shifting yarn would be my pick. I’m usually a large.

  • So hard to decide between SSP and Winter Suns Shawls. I think the large version of Winter Suns wins. Because I’m named Jane after my mother’s best friend, the ultimate crafter, I NEED this yarn.

  • Robinia Light in size 2 definately caught my eye. Yorkshire as main color with either Aubergine or Juniper. So hard to pick! Both are favorites!

  • Hard to pick ! Love all the designs, but finally chose Esther sweater in cameo! Size medium, please.

  • I would love to make the Livresque Cardigan in the colors shown in a size 4. The yarn is beautiful!

  • This book is like eye candy!
I would choose the Copenhagen Calling, since I am a novice knitter. I love the color combination that the sample is knit in.

  • So hard to decide between SSP and Winter Suns Shawls. I think the large version of Winter Suns wins. Especially as I am named Jane

  • Oh my gosh! Thank you, Kay and Ann.

I’m very much looking forward to knitting Copenhagen Calling in Scarlet and Peony. Major squish factor! Just in time for fall ❤️

  • Jane is a beautiful yarn! My favorite pattern from the lookbook is Livresque Cardigan by Espace Tricot. I like it in the colors shown, and I would take a size 4.

  • There are so many lovely designs to choose from. If I had to pick only one, it would be the Paul Klee sweater by Midori Hirose in the specified colors and size L.

  • Hi, I am very excited about your new yarn. It is a beautiful palette.
I would love to make the Paul Klee Sweater by Midori Hirose in size Small and the colors shown in your lookbook.

  • I would knit the Esther sweater with Jane in Cameo in size large. It’s such a pretty color that makes me think of the beach.

  • I love the yoke of the Paul Klee Sweater and would love to make it into a scarf.

  • Paul Klee sweater in the Lookbook colors, size Small.

  • SSP shawl would be my first project!

  • I was torn between the Robinia Light sweater and the Paul Klee sweater mostly because I love that color green. In the end, I would choose the Paul Klee sweater because this is my year foe stranded knitting.

  • I love a rustic yarn that’s also soft. I’ve had my eye on the Pressed Flowers Pullover pattern for a while. Size 4.

  • So many lovely designs!

I love Robinia Light in the colors shown, size 2.

  • So many choices! I love several of the sweaters, but since I already have way too many in in my backlog, I’d pick Copenhagen Calling in Aubergine and Yorkshire (not that I expect to win, but it’s fun to dream!) Thanks for offering this.

  • The Jane yarn look book is inspiring, and the yarn hues are lovely. If I were to win this giveaway, I would choose the Livresque Cardigan. The colors used in the look book are bright and cheery, evoking a fall evening celebration of bonfires and friendship. I would, however, be more likely to wear this delightful sweater made in Persimmon for the main color, Aubergine, Shadow and Juniper for the stripes. I think! It is lots of fun to imagine different ways the colors would play together in what looks like a gorgeous yarn. Thanks for the prompt to look more closely at tpyour new yarn line.

    • In a size 4

  • I have been looking for a winter cardigan, I would and probably will make the Liversque Cardigan. Perhaps in Shadow with aubergine the Yorkshire stripes in the medium size,

  • Snip Scarf in colors shown

  • I am Jane too! I have to knit with my namesake yarn. One way or another I’m making Eweye.

  • Jane is so gorgeous in all her shades and I imagine delightful to the touch.
    My Pick (so hard)
    Pressed Flowers Pullover

  • I loooooove the Esther Sweater! I would make it in the same color as the sample. The red is amazing!

  • The Halibut Sweater is the best!! Though there are a few others that I also love!

  • I would love to knit the robinia light with juniper as the mc and marigold for the stripes. Size 4

  • The Esther Sweater by Petite Knit really jumped out at me. I love the red yarn too, and would love to make it in a size L.

  • I choose the Ssp shawl

  • Wow! They are all beautiful. Amazing flip book.
If I had a gun to my head I would have to pick the Paul Klee sweater in the colors shown, size M2.

  • Love all the designs; some (most?) are beyond my abilities but willing to dive in & cast on! Livresque caught my eye, using the color palette from Winter Suns, size 6.

  • This yarn looks amazing – I can’t wait to see it in person!! I absolutely love the Lavinia Light pattern, in the exact colorway included in the lookbook. I tend to make a size large in sweaters.

  • I’d finally make the beautiful pressed flowers pullover in green (such a good green) for the MC and gold for the flowers in size 3!!!!

  • Well that’s a challenge… probably the Robinia (size 5) with the Aubergine as the main color (where the sample is green) and Yorkshire for the accent. Second choice would be the Pressed Flowers with the Aubergine as the background and the Yorkshire as the flowers! SWOON! Both use approximately the same number of skeins!

  • How beautiful every pattern is! I have to make the Pressed Flower Pullover, size 7, in aubergine with peony contrast. I love the sweatshirt fit!

  • Ooooh! I’d make the Paul Klee sweater in 3x in Juniper (MC), with the yoke in Aubergine, Scarlet, Bluebell, Persimmon, Marigold, Yorkshire, Shadow, and Heather.
And wear it often, with everything!

  • I would love to knit Livresque, size 2, with Aubergine as the main color, and Cameo, Peony and Yorkshire as the stripes.

  • I love the Esther Sweater pattern. That’s what I would make. And I’m looking at all the colors trying to decide which one. Probably the medium blue, like a sky blue. I would need a size 2X. What a fun game this is. I sure hope I am chosen!!! Thank you!

  • Hi, what a lovely collection. So hard to choose one! I need a new cardigan, so the livresque cardigan in size 2 . Colors are great as is.

  • I’d like to try the Robinia Light in shadow and scarlet. Strikes me as a nice way to move into fall.

  • Hi
Would love to knit Robinia Light in Bluebell and Yorkshire. Thanks

  • Love the name of the yarn! My first thought was of the brave women in Chicago in the 70s who called themselves Jane….
I’m a girly girl…uhh, old lady…so I would make the Pressed Flowers Cardigan, size 4, in Aubergine base and peony posies.
Can’s wait to check out the yarn!

  • I loved the Outline Tee when I saw it on the Zoom call. I would like it in aubergine.

  • I absolutely love them all! But I think if I have to choose, it would be the Robinia Light in the colors of the sample! So beautiful!

  • I need a halibut sweater. But doesn’t everyone???
The palette as shown is perfect!

  • Esther! In either the scarlett pictured or juniper.

  • Thank you, MDK, for the Jane look book (such great inspiration!), and for the giveaway. I loved the Livresque cardigan, in the colorway in the look book. I would make a Size 5 cardigan.

  • I love all the patterns and all the colors, but if I have to choose, it would be Robinia Light in the colors of the sample – size 3.

  • I would definitely have to make the Robinia Light in Aubergine (MC) and Peony (CC) in a size 3. Anne Ventzel has such beautiful patterns.

  • I’ve never knit a cardigan. I’d do the Liveresque Cardigan, size 2. MC Shadow, CC Aubergine, Peony, Bluebell!

  • Pressed Flowers Cardigan
    Size 43 in
    MC Marigold
    CC Aubergine

  • This is an amazing collection and Jane looks beautiful! I’d love to make Pressed Flowers, size 3, in Juniper and Cameo.

  • I immediately bought Copenhagen Calling – what an visually interesting cowl. I’m thinking it will be doable for 2 or 3 Christmas presents. I love the combo shown, and I think the 2 grey shades would also be striking.

  • Pressed flowers sweater! Knit up in Jane’s Scarlet and contrast in Jane’s Marigold in Size One. So many beautiful designs

  • I love both the Pressed Flowers pullover and the Paul Klee sweater!! They are both on my list to make……I already have both patterns. LOL I love the purple and gold combo you have show for the pressed flowers pullover.

  • I would make an Awilda with all those colors.

  • Ooh! The Livresque would be a delightful Fall project! Your color choice is already spot on. Size 4.

  • Love the Copenhagen Calling Cowl! All of the colors of Jane are fabulous!

  • Love, love, love the Pressed Flowers Pullover in Heather with the Aubergine as the contrast colour in a Size 1. Your new Look Book is fantastic!

  • This was easy. When I saw the Liveresque cardi I fell in love. It’s been in my favorites and I have the pattern, just waiting to figure out the yarn. I think I’d do it exactly as shown in the Look Book. It looks fabulous. Can’t wait to knit it.

    • Size 6 on the Liveresque

  • I’d love to knit “Esther” to gift my sister. Red is fave color so the knitted Scarlett sample is calling. Size XL. P.S. your Lookbook is awesome!

  • Difficult to choose! I would start with Robinia in bluebell and yorkshire, in size 5. Or maybe shadow and yorkshire. Or maybe……

  • The Paul Klee is stunning! Size XS should do the trick. Thanks for the opportunity!

  • Your new yarn is so tempting. I would like to make the Livresque Cardigan in size 3. Your sample color choices are lovely.

  • Livresque cardigan, size 4, love it and all the choices!

  • Halibut, definitely Halibut! Always my favorite thing on the menu!
The colors as shown in the Lookbook are perfect, too
    Size 5

  • The Eweye shawl really caught my eye – yet another pattern added to my favorites in Ravelry. I would love to make it with Aubergine (MC), Peony, and Yorkshire.

  • I would make the Robinia Light.

  • I’m won over by Robinia Light!
In the colorway as shown, and Size 4.

  • I’m loving the Eweye wrap! The Jane yarn is very exciting. I love DK so do pick me and send me some!
I’m looking at the Tee also. Tough choice but I’ll be glad to win the Ewe Eye in colors shown

  • For the Robinia Light I would make size 4 and with colors Peony and Cameo

  • I love the riot of colors in the Paul Klee sweater. M1 would be perfect. The yarn looks soft and lovely for Fall knitting with a kitty and a cup of tea.

  • My favorite design is the Esther Sweater. It’s a classic! I would knit it in the Yorkshire color.

  • I enjoyed the dive into the Jane Lookbook via Zoom this week. Hearing about how Jane came to be as well as insights into the patterns was insightful. I now look at these patterns as foundational pieces to be relished. With that in mind the Outline Tee is for me! I’m a Medium. Can’t decide between Persimmon or Juniper though…. Flip a coin I suppose.

  • I love this group of patterns, but the one that immediately called my name was the Copenhagen Calling (ope, almost didn’t realize what I did there!) and the colors I would choose are Shadow and Peony. I also like it in the colors as shown, but I could NOT resist a yarn named Peony. Thank you!

  • Pressed Flowers Pullover all the way for me!!! Wow – what beautiful yarn & colorways. Can’t wait to knit with it : )

  • I love the Lookbook! I think a Eweye in bluebell, marigold and Yorkshire. And the outline tee as shown. So many good samples.

  • Jane is a lovely yarn! I would like to make the Paul Klee sweater. The color palette shown in the lookbook picture is beautiful, and I would be making a 4x.

  • First choice would be Copenhagen Calling in persimmon and cameo.
Second choice is Eweye in persimmon, cameo and juniper.

  • Esther definitely! Aubergine. 2X.

  • Wonder ful yarn dyed over dark undertone. Esther in aubergine size medium.

  • The Outline Tee! I’ve wanted to make a longer version to wear as a layering piece in winter. “Marigold” would be perfect (size 1X).

  • Beautiful – thank you so much!
I would make the Copenhagen Calling in the colors heather and peony.

  • I really like the pressed flower sweater. Would love to knit it.

  • I’d like to try the Outline Tee in large, color bluebell. The yarn looks wonderful, and I really like that you have created a DK yarn. I live in Mississippi and I love wool, too. This sounds like a good match for me.

  • I would love the Robina Light in the colors shown , size 2.

  • Ooh, it would have to be the Paul Klee sweater in XL, just like it’s shown color-wise.

  • Goodness, Jane has created colors just like God created nature! I am in awe and I am certainly praying that I am one of those five winners. If so, I would like to knit Esther in the same beautiful red and in a large pattern. If not, may the best knitter win!

  • Beautiful yarn, beautiful projects! My favorite design is Winter Sun in the chosen colors! Gorgeous! Thank you.

  • So hard to choose but I’ll go for the Pressed Flowers sweater in the colors shown, marigold for the main color and aubergine for the flowers, size 2. Fingers crossed! Thank you!

  • Wow, what a gorgeous collection of patterns! And the colors are perfect! There are several I would like to knit, but I guess I would start with the Robinia Light, size 5, in the colors shown. That green is awesome!

  • Pressed Flowers Pullover please in size 4. Main color needs to be Juniper with contrast color of Shadow. Perfect for PNW winter!!

  • Love the Paul Klee ! But in Shadow instead of Juniper – size M1!
And excuse me – but isn’t the first on Sunday? (Maybe I missed an earlier comment )

  • I would love to make the Livresque Cardigan. Exactly as shown, size 5. Love the orange, red & yellow against the slate gray.
    Beautiful.

  • Everything Petite Knits does is fine with me. Love to make the Esther sweater in scarlett—exactly as shown. Size L please!

  • I love the outline tee by Jessie May in the color shown and size L. I’ve found vests to be really versatile pieces.

  • Ok, that was fun! I’m dream knitting an Esther sweater in Peony , size small !

  • Livresque in the colors shown and in size 3.

  • I would like to make the Livresque cardigan. I would like to make it with an off white base color with stripes of rust, turquoise, teal, brown and maybe yellow.

  • I would make the Esther sweater in the color shown. It seems to glow and it looks so cozy and warm.

  • I really think the Halibut sweater is great fun. I would wear it in Maine when I visit, but I think I’d get more wear out of the striped cardigan – Livresque.
I like the given color way, but would cool it down with Shadow as ground, and the contrasting colors being Bluebell, Cameo, and Heather.

    • This is a repeat, because I forgot to include the size, which for me would be Size 3.
I really think the Halibut sweater is great fun. I would wear it in Maine when I visit, but I think I’d get more wear out of the striped cardigan – Livresque.
I like the given color way, but would cool it down with Shadow as ground, and the contrasting colors being Bluebell, Cameo, and Heather.

  • Robinia Light in the colors shown. Size 4.

  • I would love the Pressed Flowers Pullover in Scarlet (MC) and Peony
(CC). Thank you for the opportunity to view the Jane patterns and dream about the colors I could choose.

  • I think I accidentally deleted my previous entry from a couple minutes ago with my cell phone incompetence, if not, I apologize!
I’m dream knitting the Esther sweater in peony, size small!

  • I would love the Pressed Flowers sweater, I *think* in the Cameo (but maybe the Yorkshire ) as the main color and the Aubergine as the flower. I would need help with sizing; I’m currently a L to XL (for roomy fit) in a tee, so either the 2 or 3?

  • Hard to choose. I would go with Robinia Light in size 3 in the colors pictured.

  • Really hard to pick! Finally settled on the Pressed Flowers, that I’ve had in my queue forever. Love the palette and would knit (and rock!) size 3.

  • Oh wow – I would make Pressed Flowers in size 5 using colors Juniper + Persimmon. Such juicy colors!

  • I would love to knit the Livresque Cardi, Size 3, with Yorkshire as the MC and Peony, Aubergine, and Bluebell for the stripes.

  • OOH! I watched the webinar on this and fell in love with the Robina Light (I’d knit this in Aubergine and Heather in Size 4) the Outline Tee (Shadow in medium). If I had to have only one, I would do Robina (but I will probably end up doing both in 2025!)

  • Yes, please! Paul Klee in adult large, swapping bluebell for the the main color, and plugging juniper into the bluebell spot for the color work.

  • I love the pressed flower pullover in the yummy saffron/eggplant colorway depicted in the lookbook. I would wear size 3!

  • I would enjoy knitting the SSP Shawl, substituting Aubergine for the Marigold.
It was a difficult choice… so many wonderful things in the look book!

  • I really need a cardigan and Livresque is pretty close to my style – I’d like Aubergine with Heather, Cameo and Yorkshire stripes. Probably size 2 or 3 because I’m not sure how much ease I’d like.

    Appreciate the opportunity!

  • My pick from the lookbook is Robinia Light, Size 4, color choices for MC is Persimmon and CC is Aubergine

  • I would love to make the copenhagen calling cowl in the bluebell and yorkshire colors. It is lovely.

  • Paul Klee sweater, Size 3X, colors as shown. Sweater and colors are a masterpiece!

  • Pressed Flowers. In those exact colors. It’s hard to pick though, because this Look Book is the prettiest one I have seen!

  • What beautiful yarn! And the patterns really make it shine. I’d love to knit the Livresque Cardigan. Great spring fall wardrobe piece. I’d knit size 2 with the shadow base but with aubergine, peony and bluebell as the contrast colours.
    Fingers crossed as well!

  • My choice is to knit the Outline Tee in Aubergine…however, I plan to adapt it slightly with contrasting stripes in Juniper along the lines of the Livresque Cardigan. My sweater size would be a 2X. (On a large bust, I think adding extra length is appropriate for the way a full chest takes up the front of a sweater.)

  • Robinia Light in the same two colors in the Look Book (Juniper and Yorkshire) Size 2! It’s gorgeous!

  • The Halibut sweater! Size 2. Love it!

  • Halibut! Size 2; aubergine sweater, Yorkshire fish!

  • I’d most like to make the Halibut sweater, but instead of Marigold, I’d prefer Peony. Size 3, please!

  • Pressed Flowers Pullover
    MC- Juniper CC -Cameo
    Size 3

  • All of them are just gorgeous!! I love the Robina Light in the colors that are pictured or with the contrast color marigold or persimmon. Great colors for a natural redhead 🙂 Size 3 please

  • Oooo..the Halibut Sweater! My son and daughter-in-law just moved to Alaska. When my husband and I recently visited we went halibut fishing for the first time. The halibut sweater would memorialize that happy memory! I’d knit it in a size 2 with Peony as the main color and Shadow as the contrast.

  • Eenie meenie miney moe
    Oh boy…commitment issues
    Ok. Livresque in Bluebell
    With Aubergine, Peony, and
    Heather stripes. Size 3
    Or maybe….

  • I really like the Snip Scarf. Whimsical!

  • Liveresque Cardigan in Augergine with Peony, Bluebell, and Yorkshire, in size 1

  • Wonderful choices and giveaway!
I would choose the SSP shawl in colors shown. Fingers crossed!

  • For me it would be the Livresque cardigan in the colors shown. As far as size, either 2 or 3 depending upon the positive ease suggested in the pattern.

Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

  • Thank you, Ann and Kay! I loved the zoom meeting and the Jane Look-book! Now, this opportunity? I would choose the beautiful designed “Robinia Light” by Ann Ventzel in its original color way. I absolutely love the juniper! So, fun!!!

  • Without a doubt, the Paul Klee sweater. He is one of my favorite artists and I would love to knit this gorgeous sweater in his honor.

  • Oops, in case I get chosen, I would like enough Jane for a size 3. Thanks again Ann and Kay!

    • I forgot to say a size 4 for the Halibut sweater

  • I’d love to play with all the skeins in person to choose my fav color combos. First choice to knit is the Pressed Flowers Pullover in size 3 with main color Scarlet, contrast color Persimmon (and maybe maybe two flower rows at the bottom in Shadow).

  • I love the Halibut Sweater. Looks so cozy and the colors are lovely.

  • Can’t wait to take Jane for a spin! I would knit Robenia Light in Shadow and Heather for the contrast stripes.

  • I would like to make Nivalis in navy and grey, but I don’t see a navy. It’s unisex, but I’m an XL sweater/vest.

  • PS. Forgot to add size 3. I was so excited!

  • For me, the Paul Klee sweater, size L, either in Juniper (as shown in the look book) or with aubergine as the main color would just make my heart happy ❣️

  • Forgot to add size and color.

    Size. xs

    Main color – shadow

    Yoke colors – Yorkshire
    marigold
    peony
    aubergine
    juniper

  • Tough choices! I’d pick the Paul Klee sweater in the colorway you’ve picked out already (can’t pass on that gorgeous green!) in size M1.

  • Beautiful saturated colors!!!
    The Livresque Cardigan in
Aubergine with persimmon, peony, and marigold stripes in a size 3!

  • Outline tee in small in peony! The yarn looks delicious!

  • I’d make the “full size” Nivalis wrap. This yarn is too nice for one of my 2 year+ sweater projects!

  • The Livresque Cardigan is beautiful – just the way it is. Would love to make this for the upcoming season! I would like to make it in size 7 to leave a little bit of ease.
Scarlette, Persimmon, Marigold with a Shadow as main color. Thanks for this wonderful offer!

  • Copenhagen Calling and Robinia Light are calling my name but as the 686th commenter I have a snowballs chance!! Still love everyone involved with MDK! You are all champions!

  • I love them all. I’d like Robina size 2 with colors shown. Perfect.

  • I love them all. I’d like Robinia Light
size 2 with colors shown. Perfect.

  • Ooh hard one. But after much consideration, Robinia Light in Yorkshire with Shadow as the stripe color, size 6

  • I absolutely love all these patterns! However my first pick is pressed flowers sweater! I love the colour combination , they are the colors I wear the most! I might even consider just reversing these 2 colours! So many options in this look book just makes me want to knit knit knit!

  • I think my favorite is the Paul Klee Sweater. The colors shown are perfect. In a size 5x.

  • I like the Robinia Light sweater. I would need a size 7 and my color choice would be Aubergine for the main color and Heather for the contrasting color.

  • I forgot to leave a size for pressed flowers. Size 43 and colors MC aubergine and cc marigold!

  • Feeling cardigan-esq right now. Loving the Livresque Cardign pattern!

  • Halibut sweater is a classic by a favorite designer. Color choice as shown, marigold and shadow, size 3.
It would be an incredible opportunity to try Jane, which should become another classic.

  • Copenhagen cowl

  • Love the pressed flowers sweater … how cute and girly!

  • So hard to decide! What a wonderful way to introduce the new yarn! I think I will go with pressed flowers, 4, with yorkshire as mc and persimmon as cc

  • It’s really hard to choose just one, but I have to say that the Livresque Cardigan literally jumped out at me.

  • Oh, in a heartbeat, I’d knit a Livresque Cardigan size 4 in Yorkshire, with Scarlet, Persimmon, and Marigold stripes.

  • My 50th bday is Sunday 1st September. I’m celebrating in Avignon France and checking in on things briefly… just love the livresque, as it seems apropos, for the times!

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater. I would knit it in just those colors in an XL.

  • My pick is Robinia light in shadow with peony accent in size 6.

The look book is a great inspiration for using Jane.

    MC – Shadow
    CC – Peony, Bluebell, Cameo

  • I love the Robina Light in the colors shown! I’m a size 2.

  • Pressed Flowers Pullover by Amy Christoffers
    Size 3
Main color: Aubergine; contrast color: Marigold

  • Oh my, I love the Paul Klee sweater! (Although Livresque was a close second.)

  • What a tough choice! The new yarn is gorgeous and the patterns are so exciting.

It’s between the outline tee (L) and the halibut sweater (3). I’d do the halibut in Juniper and Marigold, and the outline tee in aubergine.

  • My favorite is Eweye, though there are others I like too! But I’d love to make Eweye. Great patterns.

I’d make it in bluebell as main color, with Yorkshire and aubergine as contrasting colors.

No size as it’s a shawl!

  • The pressed flowers pullover with Yorkshire for the main colour and the flowers in Shadow, size 3, would be a dream.

  • What a beautiful textured treat! Love the colors, and best way to try many would be the Paul Klee pullover in size M1. Lovely showcase for this anything but plain Jane yarn.
And the sweater would be at home with my Albers scarf and Albers Cowl and Rothko Sweater ( okay, haven’t actually knit that one yet, but it’s on my list).
Thanks for the invitation to the giveaway!

  • I would love to make the Outline tee!

  • I would love to make the Outline Tee (in medium) in Marigold!

  • What a tough decision, but Livresque in the colors shown made my heart go “pitter pat”! Size 4, please.

  • All are favorites but my first pick is Pressed Flowers Pullover in size 2, in the exact colorway pictured! I made the Pressed Flowers Hat and it was a fun, interesting knit.
The colors are perfect for fall and unlike anything in my wardrobe. Thanks for the contest!

  • Paul Klee in 3XL. MC – Shadow; CC for the yoke – bluebell, Yorkshire, cameo, scarlet, aubergine, peony and marigold

  • Copenhagen Calling in those two colors had me swooning immediately!! I looked on Ravelry and I already had favorited the pattern but I love the colors in the Lookbook far more than anything I saw on Ravelry.

  • Oh, I was already all over the Livresque Cardigan! I would need yarn for a size 2. MC would be Heather and thinking CCs would Shadow, Bluebell, and Peony unless you tell me otherwise.

  • I’d love to make Paul Klee in size M2, with Cameo as the MC!

  • The debut of Jane at the webinar this week left me desperate to pick up my needles and cast on. My favourite project is the Outline Tee and I would choose Marigold as a cheerful entryway to Fall. I would make a size L.
    Thank you,
    Anne

    SSP Shawl using 3 colors:
    1 & 3 Yorkshire
    2 & 4 Shadow
    5 & 6 Cameo

    Jane yarn looks beautiful!!!

  • I would love to knit the Paul Klee sweater in size 42.25 in the new MDK Jane yarn. Your color choices work so well together.

  • The Jane yarn looks lovely and the colors are really great. I love Isabell Kraemer and had fun choosing Jane colors for the SSP (slip stitch party) shawl. These are the colors I chose:
    3 Skeins Cameo
    2 skeins Juniper
    1 skein Heather
    2 skeins Shadow
    2 skeins Bluebell
    1 skein Yorkshire
Looking forward to knitting something with this yarn soon.

  • I’m only a beginner/intermediate knitter and love knitting shawls, scarves, and cowls. I have only knit one cowl with a design and it was difficult. I love the bluebell, cameo, and peony colors, and think they would make a beautiful shawl.

  • I love them all!

But if I had to choose, it would be Livresque exactly as shown. I adore the colors! And I would swoon with joy to knit it in a Size 3.

  • Paul Klee sweater in the colors shown! Beautiful!

  • Hi! I favor Pressed Flowers in size 5, main color Shadow and contrast color Peony

Eweye looks fabulous, SSP such fun but I have yearned after Pressed Flowers since I first saw it months ago and it came out on top. I am size 3 and while I love all the colors choose bluebell for the MC and peony for the CC. Thank you for the Lookbook ideas.

  • Oh boy, the Paul Klee sweater is my favorite! I love this whole collection, but especially the colorwork pieces.

    Kath

    • I my comment turned lge into Leg.
      I meant a large size.
      Kind regards Kath

  • I love love love the Pressed Flowers pullover! I’d use Juniper for the main color, and either Aubergine or Marigold for the contrasting color. You decide! Size 4, but I think I’d probably want to do an extra round of flowers as it looks to be quite cropped.

  • Such a hard choice! however, the Paul Klee sweater with Bluebell as the background and the great colorful yoke appeals most (size XL).

thanks for a great promotion of your lovely new yarn!

  • Oooh, such a difficult decision. Love the Snip scarf, the Liveresque cardigan, Winter Suns shawl, and the Pressed Flowers pullover. After much deliberation, and dithering, :D, I decided I’ll try the Pressed Flowers pullover, in size 2. Jane sounds lovely, and love the available colour palette.

  • Nivalis Wrap, full size. Love the colors used. Can’t wait to try Jane.

  • Copenhagen Calling in Aubergine (3) and Scarlet (2)

I would knit the small size.

  • My first choice would be the SSP shawl as it is a piece I think I would use often. Love the colors as shown.
All the patterns are really exceptional!

  • I pick the large Winter Suns shawl with the color palette shown.

  • Pressed flower pullover in aubergine MC and cameo

  • I just blocked a Slip Stitch Party shawl this morning, and would make another one in a heartbeat. So much fun to knit! I’d choose Shadow, Peony, Bluebell, Yorkshire, and Cameo if I made it again, and would choose the larger size. Beautiful!

  • I would knit the Livresque Cardigan. I love that grey with the different colors of stripes.

  • It’s hard to choose, but Livresque is the one I’d most like to knit (and wear). I’d make it in size 5 with Shadow as the main color and Heather, Peony, and Cameo for contrast.

  • I would love to make Livresque with Yorkshire as the main color and Bluebell, Cameo, and Shadow as contrast colors. I would make size 5

  • Pressed Flowers, please, size 3 in bluebell with persimmon flowers. What a fun competition.

  • Halibut Sweater by Caitlyn Hunter: size 3 MC 10 skeins Bluebell, CC 3 skeins Aubergine. Perfect gift for my daughter who loves to fish!

  • Halibut Sweater? Pressed Flower Pullover? Eweye? More? I have knitted a Pressed Flowers shawl and enjoyed making it. I love mosaic knitting. Eager to try Jane!

  • Yep, Livresque. But in Heather w/ contrast colors scarlet, persimmon and juniper. Size 2, please! (pick me! pick me! 😉 )

  • Wonderful variety of great patterns! Right this minute I am thinking that the Nivalis Wrap pattern would be a fun knit in scarlet and shadow.

  • I love the Livresque cardigan. Knit in Shadow with Heather and Cameo stripes. Size 3
I will be making this and appreciate the chance to win.

  • I would love to make the Esther sweater.

  • Halibut is simply gorgeous, and a project I think I am now prepared to tackle! I have been practicing colorwork and and now thinking I am brave enough to dive into something truly memorable!

  • Hello! The Paul Klee sweater is delightful! A basketweave look and a while new way to do a colorwork sweater.
The pallette shown is lovely. 2x.

  • I’d love to make the Robinia Light! In the colors shown, size 3. Thanks!

  • I love the Halibut Sweater. (But my second choice would be the Outline Tee in aubergine.)

  • Robinia Light in Aubergine and Heather for the win!!

  • Your new yarn looks yummy! I’m looking forward to making the Robin Light sweater and I’d love to take on Olga’s Eweye design.

  • The Eweye would be my pick. I love the intersecting cables.

  • I love the paul Klee sweater in colour heather size 3 but I really love all the options , fantastic collection

  • What a great collection but the Robinia has long been one of my favorites. Love it in the green and white as shown in the book. Size 1 please.

  • Halibut. And in that dead chic color combo in the sample.

  • I love Livresque, size 5, colors that the sample is made in are beautiful.

  • I would knit the large size of Winter Sun by Olga. The MC would be the brown with CC would be the gold, orange and red.

  • The hat and peak Pom Pom hat

  • Pressed flowers pullover is my favorite! Size 2 with bluebell and aubergine (for flowers) color palette.

Beautiful patterns & yarn! Welcome Jane!

  • Copenhagen Calling in the colors shown.

  • Ohhh… Esther Sweater, 2XL, Jane in Aubergine, but I’d need some help with the Kidsilk Haze colour, maybe Dewberry (or Lavender or Bluebell…)

  • This looks like gorgeous yarn! I would make a size 3 Robinia Light with persimmon as the MC and Yorkshire as the CC. I love a good orange.

  • Wow – so hard to choose! Esther in Yorkshire size M. Good luck all!!

  • What a fantastic selection of patterns, so many already on my wish list. Difficult to choose but think I’d go for the Robinia Light, great pattern but also because Anne Ventzel has been such an inspiration this year.

  • Oh wow! Robinia Light is so sophisticated. Definitely would do in Shadow and Yorkshire because that would make it an heirloom for me! Size 4. Thank you!!

  • I’ve admired the Copenhagen Cowl for years. I’d love to make it with the Cameo and Juniper colors. Or maybe Peony and Marigold. I can’t decide!!

  • I love the colors in Copenhagen Calling – always my favorites.

  • Love the Paul Klee Sweater. I would use a dark blue as my main color. The other colors would be delicious to choose within the Jane hues. So many ! I would use orange-pink-lime green -purple. I would so a size small. Yarn looks yummy!

    • My comment somehow ran away without my information along with Jane and Esther. Wait for me!

  • I would love to make the Paul Klee sweater by Midori Hirose in the colours provided. She is a size small!

  • I would love to make the Halibut sweater.

  • Clearly, it would be the robinia light, size 2, in shadow with heather accents

  • Oh wow, such a beautiful collection of patterns it’s hard to choose.

I think my favorite is the pressed flowers pullover (size6). I think it’d be lovely in a Shadow and Heather color combination.

Well done with this collection. I’m starting my christmas projects list and this couldn’t have come at a more perfect time.

  • My vote goes to ‘Jane and the Esther Sweater,’ which I also think is a terrific story title!

So Jane and her eye catching, frenzy inducing Esther Sweater will occupy their own little story in a story of mine that’s already packed with sequels.

    Jane, Esther, take it away!

  • amazing colors and patterns

  • Wow! This was fun! I would love the Eweye (sigh, that pattern!)
    MC1 shadow

  • Eweye! Lovely and so different!

  • I would love to try the SSP Shawl. It is beautiful and I’ve never made anything like that. I am always afraid to purchase really nice yarn. I need to brave up and try because I think it will make a difference in the finished product. And my name is Jane!!

I do live in the mountains of West Virginia, USA and the shawl may come in handy sometimes. Thank you for the lovely (and for me challenging) patterns.

  • Beautiful yarn!! I would make two versions of copenhagen calling, one in aubergine and bluebell, and the other in persimmon and juniper <3

  • Robina Light size 7

  • Wow! Paul Klee sweater, size XL. Can’t wait to try Jane!

  • wow to all of them…i wish i had courage for the robinia light.

  • I loved the sneak peak of patterns and would love to see the Nivalis pattern in the Shadow and Yorkshire colors because they remind me of winter days when it is freezing cold outside and I’m tucked inside where it is warm and toasty with my wrap/shawl.

  • Livresque cardi would be stunning in marigold with aubergine and juniper stripes. Or cameo with peony and persimmon, or … Love the price point too!

  • First off, I love the name of the yarn! My 100% pick is the Esther Sweater but I’d change the color to Yorkshire to really let the knit/purl design pop. I have only made one Petite Knit garment but I was so impressed with the pattern writing and finish details! Thanks for offering such an amazing giveaway!

  • Oh. My. Glory. This yarn looks to be a treat!

I’d knit the Paul Klee Sweater, as shown, in size S.

  • Hat and Peak, please — Because our hearts’ home is in our little ancient family cottage in the mountains of NC, naturally I want to knit Hat and Peak. And I love the colorway MDK has chosen. Can’t wait to try your new Jane yarn!

  • Winter sun. Love the colors and it’s a pattern I think I could handle as a relatively new knitter.

  • Livresque…so classic, but with a little something extra.
    Great sweater!
    Just as shown- size 2.

  • So hard to decide! It’s a toss up – the Copenhagen Cowl in Aubergine & Marigold or Hat & Peak in Aubergine, Bluebell, Juniper and Persimmon. If I win I’ll put the names in a hat & draw one ( unless I can have both – please???)

  • I’ve been dreaming of the pressed flower pullover since before it was even published. lol! I would do a size 5 for extra ease and length. Shadow for the MC and Bluebell for the CC flowers.

  • I would pick Robinia light. Size 2

  • Oooh, love that squishy Nivalis Wrap. The chosen colors are beautiful, but I also like the light grey and dark grey combo.

  • Congrats on this gorgeous launch! Love seeing all the samples, so inspiring.

Halibut sweater in Yorkshire and Juniper size 5

  • The gorgeous esther sweater size large,3,in the color shown. Amazing choices!

  • Such luscious colours and beautiful patterns – hard to pick just one BUT
    The Eweye

  • The Pressed Flower sweater really calls to me. I’d love to make it in size 49 with scarlet as the main color and persimmon as the flowers. Lovely!

  • Oh gosh, all the colors and options are beautiful! After much deliberation, I would make the Paul Klee sweater in size L, with shadow as the MC and all the others for the yoke. Thanks for the opportunity to dream!

  • Gorgeous patterns! I think I would start with Outline Tee in Shadow. Congrats on the new yarn!!

  • This looks like a great yarn! I would love to make a pressed flowers pullover in size three. MC Yorkshire, CC Peony
    Thanks!

  • While I’m drawn to the Esther sweater in honor of my grandmother and my eldest daughter who shares the name Esther, I think I must choose the Paul Klee sweater in the chosen color way as I’m in love with the multicolored gradient- type blocks.

  • I would knit the Livresque Cardigan. I love the colors in the lookbook and would knit a size 5

  • Well it’s gotta be Paul Klee! Base color would be Yorkshire and I would find a way to use all the colors in the yoke!
Congratulations on a introducing such a beautiful yarn!

  • This yarn is simply calling my name! And green being my favorite color- the Robina Light in size 3 just jumped off the page!

  • The Outline Tee would be the most-worn sweater in my arsenal! Size Medium in Peony.

  • Fabulous Lookbook! All are gorgeous. I’d knit the Livresque cardigan in the colorway shown, size four.

  • Pressed Flowers ❤️ Size 3

Congrats on the new yarn and thanks for the giveaway opportunity! The patterns are great.

  • My favorite in Jane is the cropped sweater. Colors re exquisite

  • This design made me say “Ha!” out loud. A great garment for striking up conversations with strangers.

  • I LOVE the Esther sweater. I had a sweater in college with the same diamond motif only it was one large right in the center. I have dreamed of remaking that sweater someday. This is soooo close! I love the scarlet you chose! I would knit a size L

  • Robinia light in size 3 , with bluebell and Yorkshire
    Blue is my fav!

  • Torn between the halibut sweater and the robins light. Love the fishes, but am intrigued by stripes for some reason this fall. If I should win, you can choose for me! Thanks.
    Karan

  • Love the Paul Klee sweater but would do the MC with the dark grey rather than the green.

  • What a difficult choice to choose a favorite. The samples made from Jane are beautiful!

My highest rated would be Livresque Cardigan in a size 4.

It will be fun to read all the comments.

  • I am so excited to try this new yarn. The palette shouts autumn to me! My sweater choice is theLivresque by Espace Tricot.

  • Esther in aubergine! Exactly the kind of sweater I was thinking of making for myself this winter.

    • Size Medium.

  • I want to knit the Livresque cardigan in size 5 with the original color scheme. Perfect for the upcoming season here in WNY, USA.

  • I am SO sorry if this is a double post but we are visiting my daughter Meredith ESTHER (named after my grandmother ESTHER)who just moved into a 200 year old house and watched them struggle over Internet and can’t see my first attempt posted. So while I am torn to chose the Esther sweater in my favorite color red, I think it must be the Paul Klee sweater in the chosen colors as I am drawn to the multicolored almost gradient type blocks. Again, not attempting to double post

  • Wow. Many great patterns and beautiful yarn. I’d first make Eweye. Lovely and fun.

  • Definitely the Paul Klee sweater in size 2xl. Been on my list for a while now. I might swap out the Juniper color for Storm.

  • Livresque in size 6, please! 🙂

  • My absolute favorite is the Pressed Flowers
I just LOVE the design and the technique
Makes me smile and feel SO GOOD

  • The pressed flowers pullover in heather and aubergine, size 2. Absolutely gorgeous!

  • I’m completely smitten with the Eweye shawl pattern by Olga Buraya-Kefelian. And the new Jane yarn—all I can say is that I can’t wait to get my hands working with it in the jewel-tone colors of aubergine, marigold and juniper. For me and shawls—the bigger the better!
Thank you MDK team for offering another yarn that inspires!

  • I would jump right on that Halibut Sweater. Size 5 MC Aubergine CC Marigold. It’s been in my queue for some time now.

  • Really gorgeous picks in this Lookbook! I had a tough time deciding, but I’ll pick the Paul Klee sweater in the same palette as shown, size S (40”).

  • My absolute favorite is the Pressed Flowers
I just LOVE the design and the technique
Makes me smile and feel SO GOOD

Says this is a dupliccate but this is the only one I sent

  • I would love to make the pressed flowers pullover.
My choice of colour would be Aubergine and Marigold

    What an inspiring look book!

  • I love the Pressed Flowers pattern! I would change up the colors because I look awful in that shade of yellow.

  • I love the Livresque in the colors shown and a size 7.

  • As much as I love sweater knitting, I already have several kits awaiting my needles and the project that really speaks to me is Copenhagen Calling by Isabell Kraemer in the colors shown, so beautiful! Whether I win or not I am looking forward to trying out this yarn. Happy knitting to all!

  • My choice is Robinia Light! Love the yoke colors and details but also the easy knitting of the rest of the sweater

  • The SSP Shawl is really gorgeous, so that would be my choice.

  • I’m into cardigans and think that the Livresque would be beautiful with the Yorkshire as the MC and to give it real color pops the Aubergine, Juniper and Peony as the stripes. I love the rustic look of Jane. I’m guessing that I would need a size 2

  • I’d love to knit Pressed flowers in Peony with Aubergine flowers. Probably size 3.

  • I love Copenhagen calling!
    In the colors chosen.
They are all lovely projects and colors!

  • Everything is gorgeous. So hard to decide. I think I’d like the Paul Klee sweater in a size small. Can’t wait to try this yarn!

  • Truly beautiful color palette in Jane! I would love to try the Paul Klee sweater in size Large (L). Main color choice is Bluebell!

  • The Jane yarns evoke the Regency Period and Austen’s beloved novels. I imagine the SSP Shawl for Elizabeth Bennett to knit for her beloved sister Jane. Frugal Elizabeth would use the stash on hand so it makes sense for her to use 6 different colors. I envision Jane arriving at the Netherfield ball wrapped in her shawl (generously sized) of Peony, Cameo, Shadow, Yorkshire, Bluebell with a touch of Scarlet lovingly chosen by Lizzy. Bingley never stood a chance.

  • I’m so ready to fall in love with this yarn! During the launch party I commented that I just wanted all the colors. I had already bought single skeins of six different colors and figured I would make a Fade. Then after Kay raved about the Snip Scarf I bought yarn for that. Now I think the Outline Tee would also be a great, fun knit. Size 2X. And in a neutral color like Yorkshire, I would wear the heck out of it.

  • SSP shawl for me please and love the colors it’s shown in.

  • Gorgeous and mouth-watering, I can’t wait to try Jane! My pick is the Robinia Light sweater but with a MC of aubergine and CC of marigold —size 4

  • I’d make a Halibut in Aubergine and Peony in size 10

  • I love the Paul Klee in 4X! Thanks for the larger sizes!! The original colors are beautiful!

  • Winter suns using all the colors!

  • That Robinia Light would be amazing! Size 2 in the colors shown !

  • I already ordered the pattern and yarn for Copenhagen Calling, by Isabell Kraemer. I ordered Jane in 3 skeins of Scarlet and 2 skeins of Shadow. I’m dipping my toe in before a larger project.

  • I love the Halibut sweater! The other designs are great as well. I would love to use aubergine for the halibut and Yorkshire for the main color. I think it would provide enough contrast. Although, I would maybe reverse it. Too many design choices! Thank you for the opportunity for the giveaway!

  • The Paul Klee sweater is so fun! And I love the green that is shown as the MC. I would make it just like that is size L.

  • I like Robinia Light although it was hard to choose! I’m not usually a pullover girl, but I like this design. In a size 3, I’d like to try this out in aubergine and juniper.

  • I think Esther in Bluebell would be a wonderful combination. The pattern would really highlight the yarn! Size 10-12, medium women’s. A perfect fall project. Thank you for my Saturday morning boost!

  • Great selection of samples! I love the Paul Klee Sweater (XL). Those colors are fabulous!

  • So many beautiful projects! I’m choosing the Livresque cardigan in the colors shown, size 5. Thank you for the lovely new yarn with a great name!

  • Copenhagen Calling is calling me! I love the sample in the Jane Lookbook. Honestly, I could do any one of the sample projects. Great work on picking such a lovely palette!

  • Eenie, meenie, miney, mo!!!! Great patterns! I would like the Pressed Flower pullover in size 3…I would knit it in juniper and aubergine (flowers)…or shadow and scarlet (flowers)

  • The Robinia & Halibut sweaters are absolutely gorgeous!!!! I think the colors for this special yarn look incredible. Definitely a next planned knit!!!

  • Eweye in Shadow, Yorkshire and Aubergine

  • I love thé Paul Klee sweater and I’m a large knitter.

  • Winter Suns! So beautiful. Size large.

  • Copenhagen Calling!

  • As much as I love the Halibut sweater, I think it is a bit too ambitious for me. Copenhagen Calling is more my speed!

  • Pressed flowers. It’s been in my queue forever (along with the cowl, the socks, the cardigan …) and now I have a great reason to finally cast on! Jane is beautiful.

  • Definitely the Halibut in the exact colors, size 3. I made it for my son, and I want one too!

  • What a fun giveaway!
I’d choose the Livresque Cardigan. I’d make size 6. I’d choose Cameo for the main color, with Scarlett, Persimmon, and Marigold for the stripes.
    Good luck to all!

  • Probably the Pressed Flowers sweater ~ I’ve liked it for quite a while.

  • I love all the colors and patterns! I pick the Halibut Sweater by Caitlin Hunter, size 4; MC Yorkshire, CC Peony.

  • I’m in love with Robin’s light by Anne Ventzel!!!

    Size 5
I would pick Aubergin & Yorkshire.

This will be on my bucket list for sure!

  • Beautiful. Beautiful. I am choosing the Esther in green and size 2x.

  • I love Copenhagen Calling, although really I love all the accessories from CC to the hats at the end. They’re all lovely and look like fun knits.

  • Paul Klee sweater is gorgeous!

  • I really like the Esther sweater and would love to make it in the red that’s shown in the example- gorgeous!!

  • The Paul Klee Sweater in 2XL. One substitution – shadow for the Main color, colors of the yoke are good.

Thank you for the opportunity to play with your new yarn, Jane

  • I love all of the patterns but my favorite is the pressed flowers pullover. I like the colors you show in the look book. Size 2

  • What a hard choice! I love them all. I want to knit them all in all the colors! I would pick Robinia Light, size 3, with MC Bluebell and CC Persimmon. Or Eweye in Persimmon, Marigold and Scarlet. If I am lucky enough to win, surprise me.

  • I love the Esther sweater in the colour shown and size S. Such beautiful choices!

  • This yarn & pattern support looks great! I would love to make “Pressed Flowers”. I would use Cameo for MC & Heather for CC. I would make a size 4.

I am also looking at the Pressed Flower sweater. Knitting the Shawl now

  • The Paul Klee Sweater is gorgeous! I’d make a 3XL for myself in exactly the colors in the look book!

  • I’m going through a personal rough spot so maybe I’ll be lucky in this!

I love many of the choices but the Paul Klee sweater has been on my wishlist since it came out.

I would knit a size 2X with the lovely purple color as the main.

    Pick me please RNG!!

  • Robinia Light. Just love the pattern and a little strand work keeps me interested. Would choose a fall color way of persimmon and shadow…

  • Love all the projects, but I want to make Robinia Light, and I love the color combo. I would make exactly as pictured, in size 2, in Juniper and Yorkshire.

  • I love the Esther Sweater and would love to make it in a large with this fabulous yarn!

  • Pressed flowers! Love the pattern and I love the stitch definition in this yarn

  • Oh wow!! Jane is just gorgeous! What beautiful depth. I can’t wait to touch it. The Robinia Light is calling my name. The colors you used are stunning. I might also be tempted by a Scarlet/Persimmon combo. Or maybe a more subtle Cameo/Yorkshire matchup. Whichever one you lovely knitters who can hold it in your hands and see it without a monitor think. Size 5 or 6.

  • I love the Pressed Flowers hat and cowl I knit, so I have to pick the Pressed Flowers Pullover! I would knit a size 4, and I think I’d want to have Yorkshire as my MC because my version of the hat has a grey MC and I adore it. For the CC, I’m kind of thinking of going low contrast and picking Cameo. Is that nuts?

Sadly, a number of the sweater designs you chose for the look book are not by size inclusive designers, and because I’ve made a commitment to knit patterns only from size inclusive designers, that limited my choices. Luckily, I really love Pressed Flowers!

  • Robinia sweater in size 3 is my choice. Ohhhh to be a lucky winner. I’m drooling already

  • I love the Esther Sweater and would love to make it in a large with this fabulous yarn!

    Color work at its finest..

  • The Esther sweater in size medium in green. So pretty!

  • I choose the Livresque! I haven’t made a cardigan in a long while.
Size 7. Main color – Yorkshire. Contrasting colors – Peony, Bluebell and Cameo.

Such fun! Thanks for doing this!

  • Oh my goodness! So many gorgeous projects! I think the first one I would try is the Pressed Flowers Pullover. I need a new “wear-it-all-the-time” sweater, size 3, in colors shown. Thank you for all you do!

  • The Slip Stitch Party Shawl in the colors pictured!

  • Love, love, love the Livresque in size 3; colors showed.
    Good luck to everyone!

  • I would love to knit Pressed Flower with bluebell background and aubergine flowers!

  • All are beautiful but I think Winter Suns is my favorite. Thanks for the chance to win. Good luck to everyone!

  • I’m excited about the new yarn. The look book is awesome. I would choose the Copenhagen calling. For the colors I would do Aubergine and Marigold.

  • Halibut sweater! Size 5. Main color Aubergine contrast Yorkshire.

This will be perfect for an Alaskan cruise I have booked for next year!

  • I think I’d make the Paul Klee Sweater in size M2, but with Shadow as the background.

  • There are so many beautiful patterns that it was hard to choose my favorite but the Halibut Sweater just clicked with me. It’s just the right amount of classic and quirky that I love! That’s next in my cue, I’m sure I’d wear it often!

  • I’ve been eyeing the pressed flowers pullover for awhile now. I prefer neutral colors so would pick shadow and either bluebell or cameo, not sure which would be better so I’d let you choose. Size 2
    Thanks, fingers crossed

  • Love the Robina light in the winter suns color way sz4

  • Winter Suns in all the pretty colors! The yarn is gorgeous!!

  • I like the Esther sweater and would love to knit it in the color Cameo.
Your postings are always interesting to read.

  • I would knit the Klee sweater in size 2XL. I would use the colorway shown, but switch Shadow for Juniper. Fantastic giveaway!

  • I would most like (and be able) to make the Hat and Peak pattern. The colors shown in the look book are beautiful, and I would love to use those. I’ve never tried stranded color work!

  • Copenhagen Calling in exactly the colors in the look book! I adore that shade of green because it makes my eyes look olive green!

  • Outline Tee Size medium. Persimmon. It looks so scrumptious!

  • Wow! You outdid yourselves with these designs and the yarn looks luscious, congratulations! I would love to have the Klee Sweater design with colors as shown, size Large. Thanks for the giveaway, very nice of you! (And wishing myself, “good luck!”)

  • A simple question as I was already coveting the Paul Klee Sweater. Mine would be in a neutral main color. Why a boring neutral color??? Simple answer. I would use all the remaining colors as a patchwork for the yoke. I am a quilter as well as a knitter. I love color and the more there is the better it is. There is no reason that a little intarsia could happen in that yoke. Love even the thought of it.

  • I LOVE the Pressed Flowers Pullover in Peony and Aubergene, size 3. Beautiful yarn and I am excited to try it.

  • Wow what a difficult choice. I have been wanting to do pressed flowers sweater in size 3

  • Would love to knit the Livresque in colors shown. Size 3
Thank you for the chance to win the yarn.

  • Robinia Light in aburgine and juniper!
Copenhagen Calling in scarlett and shadow!
And how about some color work socks??

  • Wow what a difficult choice for gorgeous yarn. I have been wanting to do pressed flowers sweater in size 3

    • Please delete duplicate comment sorry thought it didn’t go through

  • It was very difficult to narrow down to one design so I saved the look book for future projects to make. Jane and I will be knitting several projects. I love the color combinations on all the garments and accessories. Thank you for the opportunity to win. I would choose the Livresque Cardigan size 3 in color palette,
    MC Shadow
    C1 Peony
    C2 Bluebell
    C3 Cameo

  • pressed flowers as shown, size 2!

  • Yorkshire halibut on a shadow background. I was in a restaurant several months ago and the waitress was wearing a sweater she had made. It was spectacular. It featured a light, natural wool design on a dark background.

Halibut will be my version of that lovely sweater: Yorkshire fish on a shadow(y) background, size M2! I would love to make this!

  • That Nivalus Wrap is stunning! I love the full size – so cozy! And the colors that is shown in are just perfection.

  • Copenhagen Calling. In Scarlet and Heather

  • What a beautiful collection! My personal favorite is Livresque cardigan (size 3) but I’d use juniper for the main color and contrasting colors of aubergine, bluebell and peony.

  • They are all stunning!

But winter suns is my favorite, and the colors are beautiful as shown.

  • Definitely want to knit “Alyssum sweater” by Tomomi Yoshimoto. Color would be dark green and yellow (or orange) in size M.
It’s fun to just think about it!

  • Livresque cardigan size 4

  • I love the Eweye shawl in the colors shown. Beautiful combo in an eye catching design!

  • Thanks for the opportunity to win.

    Halibut Sweater size 5.

    Main color Bluebell, CC Aubergine

  • Paul Klee Sweater, XL, in colors shown please!

  • Eweye, please. Yorkshire, Shadow, Cameo!

  • Paul Klee Size M2 Main color Shadow

  • Welcome Jane! My pattern choice would be Copenhagen Calling in Bluebell and Yorkshire. Copenhagen is a harbor and I’ve been missing the ocean. I love the contrast of white foam on the blue waves and how they look like stripes when they are rolling ashore.

  • Oh my, so hard to choose! But Robinia Light really caught my eye. Size 5 in colors shown in Lookbook.
Congrats on your beautiful new yarn! Love, love, love the color palette.

  • I love the way you have presented this new yarn with how the patterns look knitted with your yarn. Love it. Love it.
My favorite pattern is Paul Klee Sweater by Midori Hirose. Absolutely beautiful pattern.

  • I would enjoy the Robina Light in size 4 ….using Shadow color for MC, and Yorkshire for CC

  • What beautiful designs to choose from! I would love to knit the Paul Klee sweater in JANE, using Peony as the main color, in an XL. So many amazing colors—I adore the Aubergine, too!

  • I would love to knit the Livresque cardigan! The colors are amazing and call to me strongly. Size 4 seems the right size.

  • Hi! For Jane, the Esther sweater, size XL in the Aubergine color. Thanks!!

  • I think the Esther Sweater in medium in Bluebell (10 skeins)

    So many lovely options!

  • Pressed flowers pullover in Bluebell and Marigold. It will be an awesome project for the Fall in what appears to be lovely yarn. I do love a Mosaic challenge and Amy’s patterns are such fun.

    • Oops; forgot the size: the third size as I prefer it to be a bit larger with the colorwork.

  • Pressed Flowers’s for me, size 3, in Shadow (MC) & Peony (CC).
Such a beautiful color palette made it hard to choose

  • The SSP shawl calls out to me in just those magnificent colors! The yarn looks absolutely yummy and lovely with which to work!
As an “oldie but goodie” I find shawls not only wonderful to knit, but also to wear in chilly AC or under-heated rooms

  • What a delicious dilemma!

I choose Esther (my Hebrew name) in Scarlet and Peony, size XL.

    Jane is just gawjuss!

  • slip stitch party shawl is now on my list! love all the dk yarn colors- will be difficult to chose…

  • This is so exciting and how generous you all are !!! I would wish for the Livresque Cardigan, Size 5 MC Aubergine, CC’s Bluebell, Marigold & Yorkshire

  • I would make the Robinia in size 2. Maybe the green? I really can’t choose….

  • I would love to make the Paul Klee in the colors shown, XL. Pretty please!

  • Wow! What a great new yarn. Jane promises to be a go-to yarn for years to come. I absolutely love the Pressed Flowers Pullover. Watched another knitter make the cardigan and was so jealous. I would like Jane in main color Shadow and contrast Peony for a size 4 pullover. Gosh. I hope I win this.

  • So hard to choose! I’ve admired Copenhagen Calling for a long time, so that would be the first pattern. Thanks so much!

  • Nivalis Wrap looks like a winner!

  • Livresque cardigan in juniper. Stripes of yorkshire, marigold and shadow. Size 3

  • Jane yarn looks wonderful. Love the colors. I would pick Livresque Cardigan. Same colors as in the photo. Congratulations on the creation of Jane.

  • Would like to try Hat & Peak from the book. We live in Minnesota and just looks nice and cozy.

  • Fun! I would make Pressed Flowers in MC Scarlet and CC Cameo. Size 2.

  • Am loving these colors and the design picks! Would love to knit up Amy Christoffers’ Pressed Flowers Pullover in size 3 in MC Juniper w CC Cameo

  • I like the Robinia Light sweater, size 5, but I would use Bluebell as the main color, and Yorkshire for the contrast. What an exciting new yarn! As a handspinner, I have always loved Falkland wool!

  • I like all the patterns and it was hard to choose just one, but I would make the Pressed Flowers Pullover in those colors

  • What a fun, clever introduction—kudos MDK team! Pressed Flowers filtered to the top of my considerations. Size 2, aubergine MC cameo CC

  • Outline Tee is my first choice just to get my feet wet (I haven’t knit a sweater on a very long time). Size L or XL in Shadow. Way too many absolutely gorgeous patterns.

  • I would absolute love to make the Robina Light sweater! I would make size 1!
I love the color choice from the look book so much!

  • I’ve been dying to make the Liveresque, and I’m so intrigued to see it in this lighter dk weight! I’d do contrast stripes in aubergine, marigold, and juniper in size 4!

  • Wow, stunning, all of them! I kept coming back to the halibut sweater. What a drop dead gorgeous, conversation starter sweater! Saw fishermen bring in a halibut catch once in Alaska, won’t forget it, they are big fish!
I would do it in the exact colors as the sample and a size 3

  • Paul Klee is gorgeous! I’d make the M1 size with Shadow as the main color.

  • I tried to post yesterday but apparently did not succeed. Here I go again.

Paul Klee for Color Play! What a great design. I would make a Medium 2 size, using Bluebell for the Main Color, and Aubergine, Marigold, Yorkshire, Scarlet, Peony, Persimmon, Heather, Shadow, and Cameo for contrast. Or, more succinctly, All the colors excluding Juniper. (Can’t wear green.)
    Thanks for the fun!

  • I would make the Pressed Flowers Pullover. MC Yorkshire, CC Aubergine in size 3.

  • Eweye in Shadow, Yorkshire, and Bluebell (calming colors)

  • Having to pick just one project from this Look Book was torture! Eventually, given how many years I’ve been listening to everyone kvell over Amy Christofferson’s Pressed Flowers wizardry, I figured it was time to listen to the message the universe was sending. But then (Jaws theme song playing just audibly in the background) just when I thought it was safe to get into the water, I faced the dilemma of choosing only two colors!

So (gritting teeth, eyes fixed to the Jane page), I finally landed on Pressed Flowers in size 4, with Cameo for my main color and Juniper for my contrast color.

Despite the whining, this exercise was fun! Like everything else that happens here 🙂

  • Wow,Jane s color palette makes me want to knit all of the look book, but I ve had the Pressed flower sweater for ages waiting for the right color….would change the colors to Juniper and cameo in size 3…..for myself, loved the Copenhagen Calling colorway as an idea for the pressed flower, also loved the cowl pattern but could ramble on and on….thanks for a fun opportunity …….Elfi

  • The Halibut sweater in peony and bluebell (MC), size 3! So beautiful!

  • I would most like to make Robinia Light! Love the neck line and the fact that it’s top down, and that it gives a taste of color work with plenty of plain knitting in between. Love the softened-graphic vibe. This pattern ticks all the most important boxes for me.

  • So many lovelies! I choose Winter Suns in small with shadow, aubergine, peony and heather.

  • Copenhagen Calling. I love the Persimmon color. Pairing it with Yorkshire or Heather.

  • I love the Pressed Flowers sweater.

  • The patterns are all lovely so it’s hard to choose! I would most like to knit the Halibut Sweater with the main colour Shadow and contrasting colour Scarlet in size 5.

  • I would make the pressed flowers cardigan in a size 4

Aubergine- MC and Yorkshire as CC

  • Shadow/Yorkshire/Peony would make a beautiful Eweye shawl ! Don’t you agree?

  • I’m a gardener and a knitter (among other things). As my garden is starting to wind down and I am facing another cold and dreary winter in St. Louis, I would LOVE to sit by the fire and knit the Pressed Flowers Pullover and dream about what I will be planting when spring finally comes again! Size 4. Main color Shadow; Flowers in Marigold. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the inspiration. The Nivilas Wrap is calling me. Jane’s colors are wonderful.

  • For me, it has to be the Nivalisk wrap in Shadow and Yorkshire. I was fully sold when I read one test knitter’s description of its “blanket-like thickness”—I spend my winters essentially wearing blankets. I particularly loved the neutral-on-neutral and the black-and-white versions amongst the many projects on Ravelry.

  • Great patterns! The Paul Klee sweater attracts me in a size large. I would pick shadow as the main color with all the contrast either the same or with the green color swapped for a gray in the contrast.
And I love the shawl patterns by Olga! She is so creative.

  • What a smashing contest. I’m hoping to make the pressed flowers pullover in shadow (main color) and Heather (flowers) in size 4. Thanks!

  • Oh that Paul Klee sweater is just beautiful in the colors shown…size 3XL!

  • So many wonderful choices! I would pick Livresque Cardigan in size 3 with the MC in Scarlet and CC in Yorkshire, Shadow and Marigold. It’s a perfect wardrobe stable. and The bright Scarlet would be so cheerful in the dreary months of winter.

  • beautiful patterns using a spectacular yarn

  • They are all so gorgeous it’s difficult to pick just one. The Paul Klee sweater in an extra large is shouting my name the loudest.

  • Paul Klee sweater in the shown colors…size 3XL!

  • These patterns are amazing! I would love to make the Livresque cardigan in size three. The colors in the Lookbook are perfect!

  • I’ve always wanted to tackle the SSP Party!
Cool colors would be smashing: color 1 bluebell, colors 2, 4, and 5 shadow, cameo, and Yorkshire, and colors 3 and 6 peony and marigold for a little pop–but open to suggestions!
    Love the flower names!

  • Robinia Size 2

    MC Shadow
    CC Cameo

  • I’d love to make the Robinia Light sweater in Aurbergine as MC and Yorkshire as the CC. Beautiful projects along with gorgeous yarn!

    • I forgot – size 1

  • Pressed Flowers Pullover! Size 2. MC – Juniper; CC – Marigold

  • I’d love to make Eweye with Bluebell, Heather, and persimmon as MC1, MC2, and MC3, respectively!

  • This was hard to choose just 1–the Klee sweater in XL —maybe Heather as MC if the squares would pop with that? Or Yorkshire?

  • I would make either the Esther sweater or Paul Klee. That red in Jane is perfect.

  • I’m sure most knitters realized what I can’t help: I want to knit them all, BUT if I could only pick one then Robinia Light is refreshingly different! I love the colors featured in the images and would need to knit a size 5. thx for running this giveaway contest!

  • Oh I would love the Robinia Light in size 7. I think it would be gorgeous in aubergine as a main color and heather as the stripe.

  • After attending the webinar, I was inspired to start with a smaller project to get used to the yarn and also to try a new technique! I’m a beginner to intermediate knitter, and can’t wait to knit the Snip Scarf by Anna Husemann. I’m also not as fast as I would like, so think by starting here I will be motivated to finish it so I can wear it this Fall. I think Jane’s Aubergine, Bluebell, and Heather for a soft fall look, then I am going to swatch and see how either Blushes or Gem will look in Kidsilk Haze. Can’t wait to get started! It was so easy to plan a new project with the one-stop shopping look-book! Thank you MDK!

  • I love, love, love the Outline Tee! The colors are all beautiful but would choose either Heather or Aubergine! I would knit it in Medium.
    Thank you

  • Amazing choices. Here is mine Robina Light, in the colours shown, size 2.

  • As usual, your new yarn looks incredible! The patterns are all enticing! I’m drawn to the Robinia Light sweater and would love a chance to win enough yarn to knit it up!

  • What a fun idea! OK, I would do the slip stitch shawl, and I would use:

    Yorkshire
    Bluebell
    Persimmon
    Cameo
    Juniper

  • I love the Outline Tee in the color shown. It’s one of my favorite colors. I would make a size large.

  • Paul Klee sweater with the main color the blue instead of the green. 3x size for yarn requirements, but would knit 2x size with additional length. The colors of the Jane yarn are lovely and deep. It would be beautiful. At the moment I’m struggling to finish a colorwork sweater. Sleeve island. Sigh.

  • The project I would most likely make is the Robinia Light. I love the pattern. I have never-ending a pattern like this before

  • The Eweye caught my eye!
    Beautiful.

  • I’d love to try it out with a small project. I pick the Hat and Peak project.

  • Well that’s just not fair, including so many fabulous patterns and color choices!! I’ll probably start with the Copenhagen Calling cowl as a warm up. Then Robinia for the fun stripes. I’m looking forward to trying the new Jane yarn – especially since you wisely named it after me!!

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater(in XL). The colors picked for the sample look amazing and really show off Jane!

  • I LOVE the Paul Klee sweater, but I would change the main color to Shadow (for me, no shade intended to those who don’t look horrible in olive!). I would make size M2

  • I would knit the outline tee. Size 3 only make a bit longer. I would knit it in Yorksire and wear over flannel shirts. Love the yarn.

  • Hi, I really love the Esther sweater, and I would choose the color Heather in size 4X.
    Thank you!

  • Wow! There are lots of great projects in the look book. I really liked Pressed Flowers, that would be my first project.

  • I love the Robinia Light! What a great weekend sweater. My size would be an XL and I would switch out the green for a blue.
    Thank you!!!

    • Oops, sorry about the size. I would make a size 5 since I assume that includes the ease.

  • I am entering this contest “Just for the Halibut!” And to try the new yarn of course lol! I would do the Shadow color, but with Cameo, which looks to be a light watery turquoise. I would need a size 4 please. Fingers crossed!

  • Beautiful patterns, so hard to choose just one. I love knitting cardigans, so I would choose the Livresque Cardigan in size 1 but in Yorkshire as the main color with the bright colors to contrast: Scarlet, Aubergine, Marigold and Persimmon. Thank you so much for this fun opportunity!

  • I love the Esther pullover. I think peony for the color of Jane, 12 skeins for size 2x. I wasn’t able to find kid silk haze on the website, need 7 skeins.

  • Such delightful designs. Congratulations on this new product launch! Favourite design period? The Halibut Sweater. Favourite design to make for myself? Paul Klee Sweater. Design I feel capable and ready to make? Copenhagen calling.

Amazing choices. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

  • Love this! Pressed flowers. MC Bluebell and CC Peony

    • Please delete this entry

  • Love this! Pressed flowers. MC Bluebell and CC Peony. Size 4

  • I choose eweye but in colours Scarlet(3) Marigold(2) and Aubergine(1)

  • My favorite pattern is eweye. The texture in that shawl is so cool but I would Use shadow bluebell, and aubergine

  • Robinia! It’s modern, fun and cozy to boot!

  • Robinia in aubergine and peony and I’d go for size 3.
So many luscious options! welcome Jane, can’t wait to meet you!

  • The Eweye wrap looks so fun to make! I love the colors as shown.

  • Here’s the Jane project that has my heart right now: Outline T, XL, Juniper. Swoon!

  • Wow! So many patterns that I’ve long admired. Hard to pick one but I would chose the Paul Klee sweater in large as my husband recently asked for a new sweater. Love the palette in the sample.

  • Halibut Sweater, size 4, MC: Shadow, CC: Bluebell

What a gorgeous yarn and look book!!!! Epic!

  • They all look so beautiful but I’d make the pressed flowers sweater – it’s been on my list for so long! Size 3!

  • “Winter Suns” (Large) in the suggested color way. Love it.

  • So many to choose from! I would love to knit the Robina Light in Bluebell (MC) and Yorkshire (Cc), in Size 1.

  • I especially liked Copenhagen Calling- the pattern and colors are beautiful!

  • I enjoyed the introduction to Jane! I’ve made the Pressed Flowers Cowl & would love to make the Pressed Flowers Pullover in Jane. I would make it with Aubergine & Yorkshire. Size 6.

  • Livresque size 3, in the colors shown! Please!

  • Jane made all those patterns look fantastic.
The Outline Tee is where it’s at for me, size 2xl. The persimmon is gorgeous.

  • What a wonderful collection of patterns showcasing Jane! So helpful to see the colors mixed together in so many ways. Thank you. If my choice is selected, I choose the Paul Klie sweater in size Large, the colors shown. Thanks again for this lookbook-a brilliant and super inspiring idea.

  • Beautiful yarn! Hard to choose, but: Paul Klee in colors as shown, in size M2.

  • So hard to pick one! Lots of lovely sweaters and accessories! But since I have to pick one, I’d say Paul Klee sweater (that has been on my list for a while now) in 2XL, though with a different MC as the Juniper (green) does not work too well for me. Aubergine or Scarlet would be more my colors

  • The Klee sweater gets my vote, it’s been in my queue for a few years. All these colors are so inviting—this whole lookbook is the prettiest I’ve ever seen from MDK!!

  • Choosing a pattern was hard – I liked many of them. But I think I would start with the Livresque Cardigan in size 3. And I like the color just as they are shown….

  • Soooo many beautiful things from your very not-plain Jane. Congrats on the addition, can’t wait to meet Jane in person!
Livresque! Winter Suns! (All the shawls, really)
Ultimately, the Paul Klee sweater wins my color- and geometry-loving knitter’s heart! 2XL

  • I would love to make the Livresque Cardigan in Shadow, Peony and Bluebell!

  • What if I can’t decide between Pressed Flowers and the Paul Klee sweater? 🙂 Pressed Flowers would be pink and grey. My dream colors. Paul Klee would be alllll the colors! I look forward to knitting with Jane soon.

  • Oooo. So fun! I like many and have made the hat by arne and carlos in beautiful light colored background with bright contrast colors. And have made isabell kraemers wrap (was so fun). But I’d choose the pressed flowers sweater in persimmon background with bluebell flowers. I can’t seem to get enough of that color.

    • Oops. I forgot to add in my excitement that it’s size 3.

  • I particularly love the Robinia sweater with the interesting color effect. The vivid colors of the Jane yarn will make this sweater an eye catching’

  • I have always wanted to try a Catlin Hunter pattern. I have been knitting for a few years, but have always shied away from sweaters. They scare me. I find her Halibut sweater to be a cute and delightful sweater. I’d love for it to be my first sweater.

  • Robinia Light is lovely! (Also, Copenhagen Calling cowl – might have to make more than one project…)

  • I am interested in the Paul Klee pattern, same colors as shown, size small.
This would be a birthday gift for myself as my birthday is Monday, September 2!!! I will turn 66 and am moving into my seventh year of knitting, a perfect past time and great challenge to keep my brain youthful.
ps I believe you may have your September 1 and 2 days mixed up a bit. ❤️
    Joni Quarnstrom
    jquarnstro@aol.com

    • Happy Birthday, Joni, from another Joni!

  • Livresque in the colors shown. Size 3.
Would be a great well worn addition to my wardrobe. It would replace a sweater I got in the 90’s!

  • Eons I’m telling you. For EONS I’ve been looking for the perfect olive-y (but not too much) green for a sweater that has been hovering in my imagination. I literally gasped when I saw Robinia Light! For not only was that the PERFECT olive-y green, but the sweater, partnering it with Yorkshire…OMG! When I regain consciousness, I know this sweater in these yarns will have altered my life. JUST SO BEAUTIFUL!

  • Winter Sun! In the smaller size but same (or similar colors)!

  • Eweye is gorgeous. I’m in love with the texture.

  • Halibut sweater!!

  • I really should understand the assignment better. Okay, take two –

Robinia Light is lovely! I’d love to make a size 3 in Shadow with Heather as contrast. (Also, Copenhagen Calling cowl, in Marigold & Bluebell – might have to make more than one project…)

  • The Copenhagen Calling design has me all swoon-y. I’d love to see that in Peony and Aubergine – how yummy!!!

  • I’d love to knit Robinia Light in MC aubergine and CC yorkshire in size 4. Great look book.

  • I would love to make the Paul Klee sweater, but I would make the main color Marigold, and the contrasting colors everything else, excluding juniper and heather. I would knit the XS size.

  • OMG How to choose! So much deliciousness!
Has to be “Pressed Flowers” in the colours shown – size 3.
Thanks for sharing this loveliness ❤️

  • I really liked Eweye. Olga is amazing!
I would love to try your new yarn in shadow, Yorkshire for this pattern.

    • Oops,…..and Cameo

  • I love the Copenhagen Calling pattern. The colors are beautiful!

  • Pressed flowers, size 3, with red background and pale pink flowers! Hope I win…

  • I’d be so very thrilled if I won. I’m not into making big projects but interested in the hats and shawls in the Look Book.

  • Please don’t make me pick just one!!! But if you force me I guess it is the halibut pullover. Probably in a size medium…or small. Colors…. Lets just go with it as shown.

  • I’ve been wanting to make Copenhagen Calling for a while now and the green and blue you sampled are perfect!

  • They are all beautiful, but my choice would be Nivalis.

  • I love the Paul Klee Sweater. XL, those same colors

  • So fun and so hard to decide pattern and color(s)! I landed on Robinia Light MC Scarlet and CC Peony (the green and grey shown is stunning too). 3rd size offers spot on positive ease. Jane has an interesting and delightful mashup of fiber!

  • I love the Copenhagen Calling!

  • Love the Livreque Cardigan size 7, MC Bluebell, CC1 Yorkshire, CC2 Heather, CC3 Cameo

  • I love the Paul Klee design. Green is my jam, so wouldn’t change a thing!
    Size xl.

  • There are so many lovely designs to choose from but my first choice would be the Pressed flowers pullover by Amy Christoffers. I’d likely choose the same colors as the designer has chosen…especially the marigold as the flowers seems to be dancing in the wind in my mind. Thanks for this opportunity..I would make size 3

  • Well this is irresistible! This is a very hard decision but I would go for the Paul Klee sweater in a 3x. As to colors, the only change I would make would be to do the body in Aubergine and the colorwork in Juniper.

This is so generous of y’all!

  • Paul Klee, as is, size L
    Chef’s kiss!

  • Jane looks like a fabulous, squishy yarn! I would knit the Paul Klee sweater switching the blue for the green as the main color, then add the green where the blue was placed!
I wear a size adult small.
Good luck with the launch of Jane! And, thanks for the opportunity to win some of this lovely yarn.

  • Ooh, the yarn colors are beautiful!!! Hard to decide…. I’d either do the Livresque Cardigan with Yorkshire (MC) and Peony, Aubergine and Marigold for the stripes. My other choice would be the Outline Tee with Peony (or maybe Marigold). YUMMY lookbook. <3 The Paul Klee is also quite beautiful. Are mini-skeins a possibility for the yoke on this one?

  • So hard to choose! But the Livresque cardigan in a size 5 would be my choice!!!!

  • Oh boy, the Halibut Sweater has my name written all over it! I’ll make it in Shadow and Yorkshire. Can’t wait — the yarn looks like it has a totally scrumptious hand.

  • My vote would be for the Esther Sweater. I really like the textured stitches and that red is just gorgeous! Looking forward to trying tome Jane soon.

  • Good morning and thanks for the Snippets. And gorgeous new yarn. And inspiring patterns.

My choice to knit is : Liveresque cardigan by space tricot
    Size : 4
    MC : scarlet
CC : cameo, marigold and juniper

    • Argh – autocorrect strikes again. Espace tricot – not space tricot.

  • Forgot to include my size:3, please.

  • I love the Copenhagen Calling shawl. As a sports fan, I can see making this in team colors to support your team of choice. I’m an English Premier League fan (that’s proper football AKA soccer) so I see this in Scarlet and Yorkshire – the red and white of my beloved Arsenal!

  • Love your Jane yarn colors
    Pressed Flowers pullover

    PERSION, SCARLET & CAMEO

  • I’d love to make the Paul Klee sweater with Jane!

  • I would love to try Jane! I have admired the Halibut Sweater for a while. It would be the first thing I’d love to cast on.

  • I’d love to make Robinia Light in Size 2 with Bluebell as the MC and Yorkshire as the CC. Cool!

  • I love them all. My choice would be Halibut with colors Heather (main) & persimmon in size 3.

  • Wow. Lovely yarn. Lovely samples. I’d knit either outline (m) or Paul Klee (m2). Then I would wear them often in my Teams meetings and wait for the compliments on the saturated colors and amazing texture.

  • I would love to knit the Livresque (size 5). Gorgeous!

  • The halibut sweater is so much fun. The colors are perfect
    I’d make it in a size 3

  • I would love to make the Pressed Flowers in shadow and cameo, size 4. Love the look of that texture!

  • Esther in juniper size S
    Or aubergine
    Or persimmon
    Great palette!

  • Copenhagen Calling has been in my queue for a while. And I love the colors you picked!

  • The Halibut sweater pattern is calling to me: my great-nephew is obsessed with fishing the way other boys his age are obsessed with video games. I think I’d plan to make a size 1 in Juniper and Yorkshire. (If his shoulders are too broad by the time I finish, I guess I’ll have give the sweater to my niece instead, and go back to the pattern for another go at it!) Green has been his favorite color since he was a toddler, though as he’s gotten older, it’s moderated from John Deere-style bright green. I’ve been hoping to get better at two-color knitting, and this one looks as if something I could manage, with short-enough floats, and the complicated parts at the beginning, while I’m still fresh. And I’ve never tried a top-down sweater!

  • I’d go with the Esther pullover in aubergine, size L. A tough decision though!

  • How wonderfully generous of you. I love the Eweye shawl in the yummy colors you’ve already used. Many thanks!

  • Well aren’t these projects a ton-o-fun! How to choose just one?
It would have to be Pressed Flowers- love the colours used in the look book. Size 3. Thanks for the luscious posting and the opportunity to win! ❤️

  • I would make Winter Suns by Olga, in the colors given. It’s simply beautiful.

  • The new Jane yarn looks just yummy in all the designs featured in the Lookbook!
Hard to choose, but I am in need of a new cardigan, and Livresque looks like the perfect choice for right now.
Size 3, please, in the same colors you have chosen. They really perk up the gray and say “autumn is here”.
Thanks for all the fun things you do!

  • Paul Klee sweater as shown and size S captured me. Love it!

  • I love, love, love the Nivalis Wrap and I would knit it in the colors shown which are gorgeous. After studying all the colors and thinking about various combinations, I always come back to Shadow and Aubergine. I would knit the half-size version.

All the colors of JANE are beautiful. I look forward to also knitting the Livresque Cardigan in the future. I think I would chose Shadow for the main color and Aubergine for the all the stripes rather than using three contrasting colors. Or, alternatively I might use the lighter gray for the main color.

  • 4 years since significant hand injury, finally with improvement allowing hope that I will to be able to knit again so intrigued by the SNIP SCARF which looks lovely with exactly the colors you chose.

  • Paul Klee sweater for me. Love the green. But I’d go with the orange and grey for myself.

  • Pressed Flowers in aubergine with peony and heather flowers in size 4. Perfect for a gardenknitter

  • Loving this new lookbook! I’m particularly interested in Olga’s Eweye shawl, in Jane’s colors of Yorkshire (A), Aubergine (B), and Heather (C). That’s a start . . . then on to Winter Suns, Robinia Light, Livresque Cardigan, Halibut Sweater, Esther Sweater, Nivalis Wrap, and on and on! So many creative designs and great yarn.

  • I love the Paul Klee in size S!! It’s such a fun design and I can’t wait to cast on!!

    • Oops forgot to say size 2 for the Pressed Flowers, MC Juniper CC Aubergine

  • Copenhagen Calling looks fun to knit and to wear. I would knit it in Marigold and Shadow.

  • Rich deep colours, nice weight! Love the Paul Klee sweater.

  • There are so many in that lookbook I want to make: the Halibut Sweater, Copenhagen Calling – the list goes on!

  • The Paul Klee sweater! I love the colors it’s shown in. Size adult L

I usually rely on my knitting friends, formally known as the Knit Chicks (shoutout to my LYS in Placerville, CA), to help me pick colors. I actually like to colors in the sample sweater.

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater! I’ve been dying to make it since it came out! I would do the body (size Large) in Shadow with all the other colors as the beautiful colorwork – shadow would really show it off.

  • Robinia Light caught my eye, perhaps in blue and white. Size 2.

  • I’ve been loving Anne Ventzel’s Robinia Light for some time and would like to make it in MC – Shadow and CC – Yorkshire. Thanks for this opportunity and success with this new yarn!

  • Eweye! In Aubergine, Bluebell, and Marigold!

  • The Snip Scarf looks so intriguing! I would love to give it a whirl. . .

  • Oh, the Livresque Cardigan is just what I need for fall. All I have been knitting lately is pullovers. The colors of Jane look fabulous!

I would make size 3 with Juniper the main color (10 skeins) and Marigold, Yorkshire, and Aubergine the CC colors (1 skein of each).

  • All of the patterns are lovely! The project which quickly caught my eye was the beautiful Nivalis Shawl with snowdrop pattern. I love colors shown in the Lookbook – aubergine, but I also like the bluebell color. Full size

  • All of the patterns are lovely! The project which quickly caught my eye was the beautiful Nivalis Shawl with snowdrop pattern. I love colors shown in the Lookbook – aubergine, but I also like the

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater! The colors are so inspiring! Hope I win!!

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater, especially as he’s one of my favorite artists. I often refer to his color palette when I choose yarns or paint. I wear large, and would like the main background be in bluebell with the same color squares as the photo! What fun this new yarn is! Thanks too for your lovely weekly newsletter that I leisurely enjoy with my Saturday morning cuppa tea! Warmly, Judith

  • Jane is gorgeous! I would love to make a Robinia Light in size 5!

  • OMG! I would absolutely make the Livresque in Scarlet, with Peony, Aubergine and Persimmon as contrast! What beautiful yarn!!

  • I would like most to make Ravinia. I love the color green, and I find the design so cheery!

  • OMG! I would absolutely make the Livresque in Scarlet, with Peony, Aubergine and Persimmon as contrast! What beautiful yarn!! Size 3

  • Beautiful options! I am attracted to Copenhagen calling in the blue and green colors. Thanks for always offering wonderful options.

  • I love to make the Robinia Light sweater!
    Size 3 🙂

  • Outline tee was my fave. Makes a simple vest look very special.

  • I forgot to put my size in my previous comment. I love the Paul Klee sweater.. size M2! So inspiring!

  • I would love to make the Paul Klee pullover in Jane – how beautiful! size M1 for me – thanks!!

  • I’d like Copenhagen Calling in Cameo and Yorkshire!

  • Pressed Flowers Cardigan
    Size 4
    aubergine
    Peony

  • Eweye is spectacular! Olga’s patterns are so much fun to knit. I am drawn to aubergine, bluebell and juniper.

  • I really like that Klee sweater in an M2 size!

  • Oh my goodness, what a great lookbook!!! After a lot of thought — there are quite a few pieces there I want to knit, some of which I didn’t know about, so thank you! — I think I’d love to knit the Paul Klee sweater the most. That one has been on my to knit list forever! Thanks for the chance!

  • The Eweye. Yorkshire instead of Heather. What a beautiful combination of design and yarn.

  • The Paul Klee sweater is my favorite. No question, it shows off the beautiful colors of Jane. Just love it.

  • The Setesdal Hat, you can never have too many hat for winter! Beautiful choice of colors as shown!

  • Eweye is an amazing pattern! Would love to make that, perhaps with a different color scheme.

  • Ooh, so hard to choose! I think I would go with the SSP shawl with 3 aubergine, 2 each marigold, shadow and persimmon, and one each of heather and peony.

  • I’d love to try my hands at the Pressed Flower pullover. I’d make a size 2 in the reverse of the sample colors. I think the yellow flowers would pop nicely in the fuscia background.

  • Thanks so much for this gift to my knitting imagination! My favorite pattern is the Robinia Light Pullover, size 2. My favorite Jane colors for this sweater are Shadow for the MC, with accent colors in Peony and Cameo.

  • I would make the Paul Klee sweater to reflect the beauty of my home state, Colorado. The body of the sweater would be the blue of our high altitude sky, Bluebell. I would begin the yoke with the pale bark of aspen, Norfolk, rising up from dried grasses, Heather. Then, I would mix in the glory of their fall colors, Marigold, Persimmon and Scarlet, as seen against a background of spruce, Juniper, and distant mountain peaks, Cameo, where storm clouds are gathering, Shadow. I would end at the top of the yoke as I began with Norfolk and Heather. Since I like my sweaters roomy, I would knit it XL.

  • Love the Look Book! I think I would choose “Livresque Cardigan” ( it was so hard to choose!) as I am in the market for a cozy cardi. My color choices would be Juniper for the main color and the stripes in the pinky/purple shades: Aubergine, peony and heather. My size would be a 3.

  • Jane is beautiful! I especially love the SSP shawl, but I would use aubergine in place of marigold.

  • Dear Jane,
I’m in love with the Paul Klee sweater. I love it just the way it is pictured in the beautiful new look book for you Jane. Can’t wait to knit with you, I’m sure I’ll love you too.

  • Entry please Jane Contest

    Nivalis wrap
    Yorkshire and peony

Time to make something for me. So hope to win
    Thanks for the chance!!!!!!!

  • I have chosen the Jessie Mead Designs Outline Tee in Cameo. It is for my 13 year old granddaughter who chose the yarn color. I can’t wait to work with Jane and see the finished Tee on my lovely granddaughter.

  • The pressed flowers pullover
is one that I would love. But I would do mine with MC in persimmon and CC bluebell. Size 3.
    Congrats on the new yarn!!!

  • Definitely the Copenhagen Calling Cowl … those colors are so out of my usual palate, but they are divine. Congrats on what looks like a wonderful new yarn!

  • Copenhagen Calling!!
And I love the color way that you’ve picked; it’s perfect.
Also, September 1st is Sunday… Tomorrow.

  • I love the Robinia Light. Color choices are beautiful. And with a name like JANE, how could any choices be wrong!! Beautiful!

    Jane

  • My favorite project is the halibut sweater in size 3.
I love the colors illustrated but would also like a blue-grey version

  • The Outline Tee is my pick. I love the cropped, over-sized silhouette of this pattern. Size medium.

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater in those colours!

    • Forgot to say I’d make a size L.

  • I love the whole Jane palette, which is making it hard to choose! The Pressed Flowers pullover has been in my Favorites for ages. I would make it with Shadow as the main color and Cameo as the contrast in a size 2. Crossing my fingers!

  • Pressed flowers, please! Just as shown. I’ve been dying to knit it, but could never make up my mind about colors, yarn, etc. Your taste matches mine!

  • Wow, Jane !You’ve set my heart a-flutter already. So many patterns to choose from. I like the Flowers Sweater. It will be in a Size L, with Peony for the main color and aubergine for the contrast.

  • I would love to make the Livresque Cardigan by Espace Tricot. The ladies at this shop are so helpful. I visited the shop when in Montreal and bought a whole bunch of great yarn. They have given away so many wonderful, free patterns that I think they deserve to be supported (as well as being Canadian like me!)

  • SSP! It’s gorgeous! But I prefer shades of blue.

  • Well…I can’t pick just one favorite! So many I want to make!!!
First one I want to start with is the Paul Klee sweater, so many colors!

  • Winter Suns all the way! The large version for maximum coziness, in the original colors.

  • Eweye because I love the architecture of Olga’s designs. I’d probably change out the colors though but still browsing.

  • I love the Robina Light sweater! I love how unique it is! My color choice would be persimmon and Yorkshire, in a size 2. I love those colors!

  • Oh my, wouldn’t a Robinia light look fabulous in Juniper and Heather…? I would make a size 3…

    Beautiful work ladies!

  • How to choose?!! I’d like to make the Robinia in Cameo & Juniper (size 3), the Eweye (I already have the pattern, and my calculations for the full size shawl come out requiring 4 skeins of each of the 3 colors, a bit different from the look book’s calcs), and/or the Pressed Flowers in Marigold & Yorkshire, size 3. But not-so-secretly, I might have to cast on for the Jane Jacobs cardi from Norah’s Field Guide first… also in Cameo, size 3. Oh please, and thank you! Good luck y’all! I’ve knit a pair of Fatimah’s socks with Jane, they are a cozy delight.

  • Oooh! Nivalis wrap full size in aubergine and peony! So lovely. Congrats on your new yarn baby! And thanks for the way you build community in everything you do. It’s impressive and I can see the thought and care that goes into it and I really appreciate it.

  • The Setesdahl hat, colors as pictured. So cheery!

  • I’ve loved the Paul Klee pullover since the pattern first came out. Such a riot of colour. What a great palette Jane offers. Congrats! Size M2.

  • Please don’t make me choose. I love them all! But since I have to make a decision, it would be Robinia Light with a black background and white stripes in size 7. ❤️

  • I’d love to make pressed flowers with Persimmon and Mustard

  • Pressed Flowers in size 3. I’m obsessed and will make it no matter what!!

  • It’s hard to choose just one! I’d make Winter Sun in size large!

  • Pressed Flowers! So much to like about that pattern.

  • I choose Copenhagen Calling. The colorway used is also my favorite colors, so they would be my choice.

  • So much fun to see all the entries. Would love to make the Outline Tee in Aubergine, size 2x. Also love Winter Suns.

  • Ooooh. Difficult from so many great choices, but final decision
is …. Slip Stitch Party Shawl, subbing Shadow Yorkshire Persimmon Peony and Cameo.

Jane’s slightly muted shades are beautiful.

Thank you for the creativity you spread through the knitting community.

  • I love the colorful Paul Klee. It’s clever.

  • You’ve made it impossible to choose just one! The first thing I would start is the SSP Shawl. Isabell Kraemer .

  • I love so many it was hard to choose, but I’m going with a favorite of the Nivalis Wrap in the colors shown. Beautiful!!

  • All of the patterns are lovely, but my choice would be the Livresque cardigan, size 3, in the colors shown. Thank you so much for the generous giveaway!

  • Copenhagen Calling, in Aubergine and Marigold (my power colors!!!)

  • The slip stitch party shawl has been in my saved favorites and would love to try new yarn
Maybe in Christmas colors would be special for Christmas Eve service-cozy!

  • Livresque Cardigan! MC: Juniper. CCs: Marigold, Peony, Persimmon. Size 1. I’m picturing a nice autumn-y knit. So happens that I ran into this cardigan just last night on Ravelry. Fun that it shows up again today. Love it!

  • Oooh, a new yarn and you named it after me! 😉

I really like the Livresque. Classic colors and a simple but effective stripe pattern make it a beauty.

Thank you for the chance to win the yarn.

  • So many options! I’ve been eyeing Pressed Flowers for awhile…
    Size 5,
    MC – Shadow,
    CC – Aubergine

  • wow! what a collection!
for my FIRST sweater I would like to knit Livresque Cardigan in Yorkshire with stripes of Peony, Persimmon, and Aubergine. size 6.
thank you for this awesome collection

  • Copenhagen Calling in Cameo & Persimmon. I would want the lace section to be in Cameo, however that works for the skein count. Thanks so much!

  • Oh my Cod!!! I must do the halibut sweater in honour and memory of the herring girls! (And also because I love halibut and pickled herring!)
Size 42 is perfect and I love the colours it’s done in!
Something must be fishy if I dont win!

  • Beautiful and hard to choose. Robina Light in Bluebell and Yorkshire, size 2.

  • I would love to make the eweye wrap, in aubergine, Yorkshire, and cameo.

  • I’d make the Rokinia Light in a size 4. My MC would be 9 skeins of Auberginw and my CC would be 7 skeins of Cameo.

    • I meant the Robinia Light

  • Everything is beautiful – all the patterns, all the colors. But if I have to have a favorite… at least for right now… I’d love to knit Copenhagen Calling in Persimmon and Shadow

  • Love the patterns and choosing only one very difficult.
BUT will choose Setestal hat because I would finish it . I am a beginner knitter and slow! I could get it done for winter! The colors chosen are lovely and I would wear every day.

  • I’m not a knitter – but my mom is and I am so lucky that she knits for me!
If she made Pressed Flowers for me, it would be a 2 in Cameo and Aubergine.
If I convinced her to make something for herself, it would be a #2 Livresque, with the main color in Yorkshire and the stripes as written.
If we shared a sweater – it has happened before – it would be Esther in xs done in Bleubell!

  • Love the Paul Klee pullover!!! I’m a size XL & would like to knit this with
MC Shadow & CCs in Yorkshire, Bluebell, Aubergine, Cameo & Peony.

And, Midori’s patterns with accompanying videos are easy to follow

  • I love the way the knit and purl pattern of the Esther sweater reflects the light and makes the color of Jane very rich.

  • So many gorgeous choices to play with!! Eweye had my heart immediately though, the interwoven texture created from a slip stitch pattern absolutely fascinates me and I must make this! The pictured colors look fantastic, but I just always have to be different :-p so I would use the Yorkshire in place of the Cameo, the Marigold in place of the Peony, and the Aubergine in place of the Juniper. The stitch definition of Jane really makes this pattern pop!

  • Jane is so beautiful! I made a Pressed Flowers Hat for a friend this summer and loved it. I would really like to make myself a Pressed Flowers Pullover in Bluebell (MC) and Aubergine (CC). Size 4.

  • I have been trying to convince my husband he wants the Halibut sweater, no luck. However I would love to have it in size 4, main color Shadow, fish in Yorkshire. Sorry I missed the Zoom.

  • Ooh- I love Eweye. It would look great in Plum, Bluebell, and Shadow.

  • I’m all for Robinia light size 3 in Shadow and Heather

  • The Paul Klee sweater caught my eye. I love to do colorwork. Size L

  • I would love to make a cardigan, and the Livresque is perfect! Size 6. I would keep the MC, but make the stripes Heather, Peony, and Juniper. Cheers, and thanks for the chance at this incredible giveaway!

  • I think I’d make Esther, size Small, in Persimmon. All the colours are gorgeous!

  • I would love to knit the Livresque Cardigan. The main color would be Aubergine and contrast colors would be Heather, Peony and Yorkshire. Jane looks lovely – thank you!

  • Love the Name and design of Copenhagen cowl.

  • The Jane yarn is gorgeous and the patterns are inspirational. My favorite is “Esther”. Petite Knits’ sweaters are classic and their instructions are precise.
I can picture “Esther” in color Bluebell.

  • This is hard! Jane is so good!

I think I would like Pressed Flowers pullover in Shadow and Peony. Pink and gray is a classic combination.

  • I love them all but especially the Robinia Light in the sample colors shown. Size 2

  • Livreesque Cardigan is beautiful!!

  • Nothing could ever be worn more often than a beautiful cardigan, especially if it was Livresque by Espace Tricot. My size is 8, unfortunately, which makes sweaters too expensive to make. The sweater is lovely as shown in the Look-Book, but I am drawn to the main color as Aubergine, with stripes of Marigold, Persimmon & Juniper.

  • My mother had a Paul Klee print that I loved growing up, so it has to be the Paul Klee Sweater, size 2XL, with the MC Aubergine and the CCs scarlet, heather, shadow, persimmon, peony, bluebell, and juniper.

Thanks so much – what a great give-away!

  • Oh it’s so lovely!
I would make a pressed flowers pullover in size 5 with the light blue MC and purple CC.
Those designs are excellent choice to show off your new yarn. Congratulations

  • I would make a Pressed Flowers pullover with main color in Shadow and contrast color in Marigold. Because you can never have too many grellow sweaters!

  • It’s very hard to pick just one, but I love the simplicity of the Esther Sweater and how it looks more complex if you didn’t knit, but I’d knit it in Cameo, size M….then on to the Snip Scarf…then…sigh

  • The Paul Klee has been on my list for at least a year. I love the colors shown in the look book. I’d make a size L.

  • I love Robinia Light in the colors shown

  • I would like to knit all the sweaters. Halibut has long been in my ravelry queue… Bluebell & Marigold in size 3. But Robinia Light has me drooling: in the sample colors, or Juniper & Heather? (Also size 3.) And I just want to bury my face in the Esther sweater, any color, XL. I suppose I just need to get my hands on Jane!

  • the Esther sweater definitely calls to be knitted. in the olive green. size L.

  • My favourite design out of your wonderful Jane Lookbook collection is the Livresque Cardigan by Espace Tricot. And I love the colours that you chose to show it in.

I am currently visiting relatives in France. Perhaps that is one reason that I am attracted to the quintessential French stripes on this sweater. That, and of course, the colours and look of your beautiful new Jane yarn.

    Thank you.
    Elizabeth Thomson

    • I would wear a size 4. Thanks.

  • I’d make the Pressed Flowers sweater, I love the texture!

  • Love the pressed flower pullover. Juniper with persimmon flowers. Size 3. Excited to try mosaic knitting.

Thanks for offering such a fun giveaway

  • Pressed flower pullover!
    Sooo lovely

  • I love all of them! It’s hard to choose, but I think I’ll have to pick the Paul Klee I the palette shown. Size 3XL.

  • Difficult decision but I’m most drawn to the Livresque Cardigan in the colors shown, size 4. Simple yet beautiful and so easy pair up with many closet staples. Lovely prize.

  • Ooo, so many beautiful choices, but I’d go with the Livresque cardigan, size 2 with MC Yorkshire and Aubergine and Shadow stripes.

  • I just want to feel the squish of your new yarn, “Jane!!” It looks so soft and beckoning to the touch. I can envision knitting it in the charming pattern, Pressed Flowers. For a Victorian sort of interpretation, (which the name, Pressed Flowers, always to brings to my mind,) I would choose “Cameo” for the MC, and “Heather” for the CC. I would knit it in Size 1, and I think it would be dreamy!! I look forward to seeing it in person.

  • I love all of them! It’s hard to choose, but I think I’ll have to pick the Paul Klee I the palette shown. Size 3XL. 0

  • What a lovely collection of colorful and vibrant patterns. I would love to make Winter Suns in the colors shown.

  • In choosing a size, by finished bust circumference do you mean how loose we’d like it to be when knitted up?
    Thx

  • I love the Winter Suns shawl! I hope I win. Love the colorway shown in the lookbook.

  • I would love to use Jane to make the Pressed Flowers Pullover in size 5 with Aubergine as the main color and Marigold as the contrast color.

  • Great patterns and the yarn looks scrumptious. Since I can only choose one – I’d first try the Outline Tee using the Yorkshire color of Jane (size 5x). I could see wearing this with everything, every day.

  • I want to knit every one of these patterns with Jane! But my first choice is Halibut size 2 in MC Yorkshire, CC scarlet.

  • Livrest cardigan

  • Love cardigans-roomy cardigans- so I’m choosing Livresque in peony size 7 with persimmon, marigold, and aubergine stripes. Off to buy the pattern.

  • Nivalis wrap, full size!

  • Oh, what beauties! Pressed Flowers Pullover would be my choice. size TBD after buying the pattern and looking at the schematic. Jane looks great; I love how Masham produces such great colors.

  • I would like to make the snip scarf. I am a newish knitter and this pattern looks like one I could accomplish.

  • Congratulations on the beautiful new yarn. Wow what an incredible response to this giveaway! But I will post my wish anyway, despite the odds. I would like to make the Robinia Light in the third size, with Bluebell substituting for the wider bands that are shown in Juniper, and Yorkshire for the narrower bands, size 3.

  • Wow! Thank you so much for this exciting opportunity❣️

After much back and forth, I decided on the, Robinia Light by Anne Ventzel, in those beautiful colours shown in size 2.

Good luck to everyone, what a wonderful dream this would be.

  • I love the bold graphic Halibut Sweater, marigold and shadow are fantastic!
    Size 3

  • Love them all, but I would knit the Esther sweater first.
Thanks for the chance to try out the new yarn.

  • I would love to knit the Halibut sweater in Yorkshire for the body & Persimmon for the fish. Size 4. Thanks for the opportunity!!

  • Copenhagen Calling, shadow and scarlet. (Although I really like the colors shown, too. )

  • Livresque Cardigan is just the colors shown. This was a hard decission for such a wonderful prize. Thank you. Possibly a size 3

  • I would love to make the pressed flowers pullover. Have the yarn to make the pressed flowers shawl already and once I master chart, I think I could tackle the pullover.

I’d make size 2 or 3 and the colors would be: juniper for the main color and heather for the contrasting color.

Honestly all the color are great.

  • The Halibut Sweater! Size 4 colors as shown. What fun!

  • Livresque Cardigan!
Size 3: Main—- Aubergine; stripes: Peony, Yorkshire, Bluebell
Such a difficult choice; all patterns were delectable!

  • Esther in aubergine! Size 5.

  • SSP Shawl – and I would use the pictured color combination – so peaceful and calming!

  • I’m making a wardrobe of pressed flowers in different palettes. Pullover in size 3 in Marigold flowers and Yorkshire. Stunning!

  • My favorite is the Paul Klee sweater, although the Esther sweater is a close second. I would use Yorkshire as the basis for the sweater. Baby sweaters are the only thing I’ve knitted recently that require sizing so knitting a sweater that would have to fit me is a very scary project. I think I would be an M1 or M2. And most of the others would be used for the contrast: shadow and heather, juniper and cameo, persimmon and scarlet, and peony and aubergine. Fingers crossed (and knees legs and toes).

  • I have saved the SSP shawl as one of my favorites on Ravelry. Perfect yarn for this shawl.

  • I’m a Pressed Flowers girl. And that Marigold/Aubergine combination is the fall sweater theme.

  • Such a difficult choice! Love the flexibility of the Outline Tee and its demo color (persimmon?) size L

Good luck everyone and thank you Modern Daily Knitting for a fun look book!

  • I’m all in for the Halibut sweater!

  • Paul Klee but with Aubergine as the main color. Either large or extra large, so hard to know how much ease! would love advice on sizing.

    Congratulations on Jane!!!

  • Would love to knit the Outline Tee in Juniper! It would be a great layering piece!

  • SSP Shawl !!
    I love slip stitch patterns…
    #1 bluebell
    #2 Yorkshire
    #3 shadow
    #4 juniper
    #5 marigold
#6 cameo ? Picture only shows five colors but skein list shows 6

  • The Jane yarn is beautiful and so many great patterns! My favorite is the Paul Klee Sweater. Size M1

  • I fell in love with the Robinia Light when I saw it on Ann. I would go with a more subtle Bluebell with Yorkshire stripes. Size 6.

  • This is easy … I was fishing in SE Alaska just last month, catching halibut and salmon and more. I would definitely LOVE to make the Halibut sweater, in size 2 with colors Shadow (MC) and CC Yorkshire, or maybe Cameo. Jane looks luscious and I look forward to trying it. Thank you for the offer, and the great selection of patterns!

  • While hard to choose, I would do the Livresque in size 3. Such a great pattern and one of those wear with everything sweaters!! Can’t wait to try this yarn

  • I love the pressed flowers pullover. I would knit it in size 3. I think that I would use the charcoal as the background and a gradient of “red” as the flowers: Scarlett, persimmon, and peony.

  • These Jane yarns are lovely! I’d like to make the Winter Suns shawl. The colors in the look book are so pretty!

  • This yarn is beautiful. I can’t wait to try it!
Eweye is such a beautiful pattern. That is my favorite.
I would choose the main color as Yorkshire, #2 Shadow and #3 as scarlet.
What a wonderful giveaway. Thank you!

  • Robi is Light in colors shown , Size 3

  • Definitely the Paul Klee sweater, size large. I love the colors in the sample.

  • I love the Hat and Peak. That pompom! The sample colors are perfect! I find hats are a great way to test drive a new yarn. Thank you!

  • I love the XL Paul Klee sweater in Bluebell as MC and the same CCs.

  • It’s been agonizing to try and pick a favorite! But in the end, the lovely Esther won out, in Juniper size 3x. Congratulations on a lovely new launch!

  • I would want to do the Esther Sweater in Size 2XL in color Aubergine 800

  • IF I had to choose one: Robinia

  • How can I choose just one pattern?? Had to go through the look book three times. Have made a choice:

    Robinia Light, size 3
Colors in the photo are great!

  • Oh my! So many lovelies to choose from!! But I have to say, I’m drawn to the snip scarf. It’s so unique. I might try Persimmon, Marigold, and Juniper plus Dusk for the Kidsilk Haze.

  • I love the Winter Suns shawl and would use Aubergine as the Main Color and my suns would be Juniper, Persimmon, and Bluebell. I think this combination will make a lovely, rich palette, in the large size.

  • Gorgeous
The Levresque in size 4, probably in the colors shown in the look book because 1) I get decision paralysis and 2) the gray with orange, gold and red just screams “Autumn”.

  • Paul Klee sweater, size large.

  • I want to make Caitlin Hunter’s Halibut Sweater, well, just for the halibut. And if I had time to read all the preceding comments to see how many times that joke has already been made, I’m sure I’d be embarrassed, but I don’t, so I’m not. I have knitting to do!
And if I were making the Halibut Sweater, I’d make size 4 using Shadow (MC) and Scarlet (CC). Color work is challenging for me. This project would advance my color work skill by a degree or two.

  • Love the Paul Klee sweater! Great colors in the model sweater. XL

  • Ewwwe wee! For the love of knitting! I fell hard and fast at the first entry in the new Jane Lookbook and immediately began dreaming of the challenge and glory of an Esther Sweater adventure. I soon realized it would be the first XXS anything I wore following my double mastectomy. So bring it – bathe me in the soft comfort of BlueBelle!

  • I’d love to make the Paul Klee Sweater color as shown in size XL

  • It was so fun to browse the lookbook! Robinia Light in a size 3 using the fabulous green and cream as pictured shouted the loudest to me. Still, hard to choose amidst all the “pick me” shouting in the lookbook.

  • Love the Ester sweater in Yorkshire (size 2X). Looks like a classic!

  • My daughter would love the Pressed Flowers sweater! I’ve never knit any version of this popular stitch pattern, but I’ve had it on my list for a long time. Size 3 in bluebell with flowers in yorkshire.

  • Oh the Robinia has absolutely stolen my heart and in the luscious rich green and gray is stunning! My size is XL and thank you for the wonderful look book and ideas for this yummy new yarn!

  • Copenhagen Calling, in the colors as shown. But they’re all lovely!

  • Ring Ring!

    Who’s there??

    Copenhagen Calling!!

  • I’m most attracted to the Esther sweater – just don’t know if I’d make it all the way through. The SSP Shawl, Snip Scarf or Copenhagen Calling might be more in my wheelhouse. But, seriously, it’s hard to pick one project when there are so many excellent choices.

  • I love the Livresque cardigan! I believe size 2 would be a nice fit for layering. I love the main color, but would like a lighter blue and red for contrast. Thank you for a fantastic giveaway!

  • Paul Klee sweater
Size M1 or 2 depending on ease
I like the bright colors in the yoke but I might choose a different main color

  • How exciting! I would love to make the Nivalis Wrap and after much deliberation, decided to go with the Aubergine and Yorkshire.

  • I love the SSP Shawl! looks so fun with all the color changes and texture. I would love to make it in Yorkshire, Cameo, Aubergine, Shadow, Bluebell and Peony. Size small.
I was wondering when I got a postcard with my last order saying introducing Jane. Since that is my name it was a bit surprising. Anyway, I must knit something with my “name yarn”!
    Thanks so much, Jane

  • I would love to make the Pressed Flowers Pullover once again using this beautiful yarn! As we approach fall, the colors presented in the lookbook lend themselves wonderfully to this design.

  • Oh my goodness..all sooo beautiful but I luv the Paul Klee sweater…colors are lovely..M

  • I have loved the Halibut for so long! Would love to make it in a size 5, Aubergine for main color and yorkshire for the lovely fishies! thanks!

  • Outline tee in Juniper please!

  • My favorite piece is the Pressed Flowers Pullover. I would make it using the Jane colors of Scarlet and Yorkshire. I think they would look amazing together.

  • Beautiful projects! The yarn colors are really rich. I would love to knit the Halibut Sweater; that pattern is gorgeous. I love the mustard and grey but I bet there’s another color combo would look great. I’d have to have skeins in hand to see what looks good together.

    • In a size 5!

  • The Halibut Sweater is really lovely, and I loved the colors used!

  • I like Copenhagen Calling in Yorkshire and Cameo!

  • So many enticing choices! I guess my first choice would be the Pressed Flowers sweater with MC Shadow and CC Peony (size 4 so, 9 and 6 skeins). Would be so fun to win!
Some of the shawls look great too!

  • I live in the desert and it rarely gets cold enough for a sweater but wraps and shawls are wonderful. Just enough to cover my shoulders and neck while knitting on a cool evening I would love to knit the full Nivalis wrap in Scarlett and Shadow, six skeins of each. Those are my colors and go with my Navajo rugs that I have been collecting for years! ♥️♥️♥️

  • A warm hat, or two, would be very welcome! Hat and Peak + Setesdal are gorgeous. Thank you!

  • Love love love the Pressed Flowers Pullover. As a knitting newbie, I would definitely want to try the cowl first. Jane’s Cameo (MC) and Bluebell (CC) would be gorgeous and size 1 would be perfect.
    Thank you!

  • I LOVE the Paul Klee sweater (XL), seeing it in main color = Cameo, same yoke as sample ❤️❤️❤️.

  • Oh my! The Esther sweater is definitely learning my name
My size is 2XL and I love the scarlet colorway. [All my life I never could wear red but now that my youthful pink skin has disappeared, it suits me just fine. ;>》 )

  • Definitely Winter Sun by Olga Buraya-Kefelian in large. I’m seeing this in Juniper main color (10 skeins) and contrasts (1 skein each) in Marigold, Persimmon, and Scarlet. Classically fall!

  • Too many beautiful options – would love to take the plunge on mosaic with Pressed Flowers in size 2,
    cc aubergine and mc juniper.

  • The Jane yarn looks beautiful! The pattern that called out to me is the Livresque Cardigan in a size 48.25. The colors listed are perfect! Thank you for offering yarn for this project!

  • The yarns and patterns are all gorgeous! I especially like the Livresque Cardigan. The colors in the look book are so beautiful, but since there are so many fabulous colors, I would consider using Yorkshire for the MC and Aubergine, Bluebell, Juniper, and Marigold for the CCs. The colors would pop!
Thank you for this generous opportunity to win this beautiful yarn. Depending on ease recommended, I’d guess a size 3 (or 4 to be safe).

  • Halibut, really, just the most fun to wear. Maybe in less subdued colors.

  • I would love to make the Livresque Cardigan in size 2. Love the original palette. The Halibut Pullover is also delightful!

  • Such a lovely yarn and hard pick! But the one that really took my heart: hat and peak ❤️ The colours shown plus maybe two additional colours so I can make mix and matchy hats for my group of friends.

  • I’d love to make the Outline Tee in scarlet, size XL!

  • The Jane lookbook design I’d most like to make is the Livresque, in the colors shown in the lookbook, size 10 for the most knit worthy in the family!

  • The Livresque sweater in size 3. I would love the main color to be juniper, contrasts in marigold, persimmon and scarlet. What do you think?

  • I’d like to try Copenhagen calling in the turquoise and white. Would be bright and summery all year long.

    Denise Reynolds

  • I’ve been eyeing the Pressed Flowers pullover for ages. I would do size 3 in Peony main color with Aubergine as the flowers.

  • Robinia Light in Persimmon and Shadow

  • I would love the Pressed Flower Pullover would use Aubergine and peony in a size six. All the colours are wonderful

  • Love the Paul Klee sweater.

  • I’m old and love classic designs. The classic sweater ,Livresque fits the bill in those original colors. We could be mighty good friends in a size 8.

  • I want to make the Robinia Light in neutrals. It’s the perfect elevated sweater/sweatshirt.

Size 2 in MC Shadow & CC Yorkshire

  • The Livresque Cardigan, oh my! Jane Yarn looks so incredibly soft, I would never it off! The color combination shown is beautiful and versatile.

  • Pressed flowers size 3 in bluebell and Yorkshire. That was a tough choice. Lovely colors!

  • Pressed Flowers Sweater in a size three. I’d prefer a darker MC – a gray? You pick the contrasting color.

  • I had a sweater as a child that my mother knit for me. It was similar to the Livresque Cardigan.
I would love to knit this in Jane for myself.
    Livresque Cardigan
    Size 5
    MC: Peony
    CC1: Scarlet
    CC2: Persimmon
    CC3: Marigold
Thank you very much. I am Grateful for being able to enter this wonderful giveaway.
I really love reading the Saturday Snippets ❤️

  • The halibut design made me say “Ha!” out loud. A great garment for striking up conversations with strangers. I’d make it in size on with the colors shown.

  • Eweye…like the design and it looks quite challenging. Win/Win!

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater! Size M with Shadow as MC.

  • Love the Presses Flower Pullover size 2 please. Love your color way choice

  • Have always wanted to knit the Paul Klee! Sz. M2

  • I love the halibut sweater! But I think I would change the colors around-maybe aubergine, peony, or bluebell. OR throwing in the juniper. Can’t decide but two of those for sure.

  • I LOVE the Livresque Cardigan in the palette shown! Those colors are amazing! I’d wear a size 5.

  • Wow! what great options. I’d knit the Livresque Cardigan, size 3, in the colors you’ve chosen. They are perfect!

  • Pressed flowers, Size 2, MC: Yorkshire, CC: Shadow. Love the samples and the name of the yarn, my middle name is Jane so have a fondness for people and yarns named Jane. Thank you for showing all of us the new yarn in such wonderful samples.

  • There are so many beautiful options! I love the cardigan, but am definitely at a stage where I only knit sweaters in the round (maybe when I retire I’ll go back!) I would make myself the trout sweater in those colors in a size 1x. So much inspiration in that look book!

  • I would make the pressed flowers pullover using Shadow and Yorkshire. I’d used Shadow as the base colour and use Yorkshire for the flowers, as I prefer a darker sweater.

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater in a size small in Shadow with Persimmon to contrast. Thank you for this giveaway opportunity.

  • Hello. I’ve always wanted to make Copenhagen Calling. I think it would be pretty in Bluebell and Yorkshire.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Ooooooh, beautiful! Livresque Cardigan for me! Yorkshire for the main color, Aubergine, Marigold, and Bluebell for the stripes. Size 4. Love stripes on a round yoke. What a great introduction to marvelous Jane.

  • I am excited to work with this yarn. My pattern of choice would be the Eweye Shawl in the colors of Aubergine (3), Bluebell (2), and Heather (1).
The pattern intrigues me. I love a challenge to make something of the ordinary.

  • The yarn looks lovely.

All the patterns are wonderful but I chose the Outline Tee. The size is X-Large and the color is Yorkshire.

Thank you for running this giveaway.

    Carol

  • Would love to make the Pressed Flowers Cardigan with Yorkshire as the MC and Peony as the CC in Size 4!

  • My favorite is Livresque Cardigan, but I would make it in Aubergine with accent colors of Yorkshire, Heather & Peony in size L.

  • Wow, what a hard decision! I came down to 2 choices then to one. I have been looking at the Paul Klee sweater for a while. I would like it in the color you have used in size M2. Thank you

  • The beautiful colors of the Copenhagen Calling really caught my eye! Then when I read the 3 patterns are easy I thought that pattern is for me!

  • I love the Halibut sweater, just the surprise kind of clothing I like to wear-classic and quirky. I’d change the colors to Aubergine for the main color and Yorkshire for the wonder fish to make this a very versatile ‘go-to’ sweater.

  • My comment is on the beautiful green Robinia Light, by Anne Ventzel.
I love this sweater, the colors, the white streaks coming through it yummy.

I feel like I have a tapeworm, lately all I’ve been doing is thinking about food. When I looked at the Robinia light, I go oh my gosh I could just eat that.
Now this Labor Day weekend I’m thinking I could serve that up different color for the green would be the relish and I’d have it on a brown hotdog, type bun for my cuffs and the white would be my onions on it. I’m picturing myself sitting for the next two weeks to make my new can’t get enough of sweater, enjoying, savoring each stitch as if it were my hotdog long after Labor Day.

  • I adore the Esther sweater, but I would make it in either Bluebell or Cameo–hard to decide. And to me, that sweater begs to be oversized, so 2X. (The construction of the Snip Scarf intrigues me, but Esther won out.)

  • Ann and Kay, thank you *so much* for the opportunity to play this game, and — even more — for developing this luscious-looking new yarn! (I can’t wait to squish it.) I’d like to take Jane on an adventure with me into the gorgeous Paul Klee Sweater:

    * Paul Klee
    * main color Shadow (all else the same)
    * size M2. (Thanks!)

  • It is so hard to choose just one, but I think I’m so drawn to Eweye. I would make it in Juniper, Marigold, and Cameo. They’re all so lovely!

  • Love this yarn and the lookbook knits! Amazing to see Jane “in action” right at the launch. I was even a little sad that the cookbook isn’t a field guide, but I’m glad to have the links to the patterns. I love the Halibut sweater and would knit it in Cameo mc and Shadow cc.

  • ❤️ Jane!
    ❤️ Outline Tee
    ❤️ Soft gray pallet
    (Size XL)

  • The yarn and the patterns are so amazing! But my favourite is the Paul Klee sweater, and I would use Shadow as the MC with the CCs as shown in the lookbook, size L

  • SSP Shawl by Isabell Kraemer – so beautiful and lush!

  • The dreaming really is delightful!! I have changed my mind SO many times now. If I had to commit to just one dream for today it would be Robinia Light size 3 in Aubergine with Yorkshire contrast. Thank you for the inspiration!

  • I am thrilled with the name of your new English yarn! My name is Jane and incidentally both of my grandfathers were born in England!
I would love to make the Livresque Cardigan with Yorkshire as the main color and with Bluebell and Cameo as contrasting colors.

    • And the size would be size 3.

  • Oooh, that lovely Paul Klee Sweater in XL. Gorgeous!

  • Esther sweater, size XL, 11 skeins Juniper, please and thank you.

  • Pressed flowers in size three. I would use same colours, as I dither too much when it comes to choosing colours. Wouldn’t dream of choosing these by myself so hey going with these!

    Thank you.

  • I love the Robinia Light Sweater, sz 4, in Aubergine & Yorkshire. Always fun to try new yarns!

  • With so many gorgeous designs, it’s hard to choose. But I do love the Halibut Sweater by Caitlin Hunter. Living on the coast in Oregon, i think I’d have to call it the salmon sweater. just for the halibut. I’m usually knit a size medium, 39” bust + 2-4” positive ease. So looking at size 2-3. Love the colors used in the book.

  • Outline tee
    Large
    Peony

    Merrie Daitch

All of these are GORGEOUS knitwear pieces!!!

  • Such a nice simple shawl with color and stitch variations to make it fun to knit and wear.

  • Oops forgot to identify shawl by name—SSP Shawl.
Such a nice simple shawl with color and stitch variety to make it fun to knit and wear.

  • Such great sweater options! I’m imagining the Pressed Flowers pullover with the background/main color Juniper and flowers in Bluebell, size 3.

  • Halibut sweater. Just love the fish!

  • I would make the Pressed Flowers cardigan, (size 5) using Juniper as MC and Cameo as CC. This yarn looks heavenly. British breeds are my favorite. Bunny luck!

  • I would love to see the Livresque Cardigan in Aubergine, Juniper and Bluebell, size 4.

  • I’m not sure which pattern I would make as I’m not skilled with colorwork as of now. That said I am absolutely thrilled that you are supplying pattern information up to size 5 and 6X. That is so wonderful for those of us who are not within the typical size ranges. Thank you.

  • Paul Klee sweater in all the colors shown!

  • Love the Esther sweater. Would do it in juniper!

  • So many beautiful choices! As I am working on developing a Mindful Wardrobe, I must choose the Esther sweater in the lovely undyed, Yorkshire. Best guess at size is L; looks like this is meant to be worn with plenty of positive ease.

  • Copenhagen Calling

    Color 1 – Shadow
    Color 2 – Heather

    Swoon!!! 🙂

  • The orange of the Outline Tee just reached out and grabbed me, so I would knit that first, in homage to fall. (I am buying the pattern and the yarn right now.) Next, I would knit Copenhagen Calling, because Copenhagen does that, and I do like the colors you show it in. And then, for amusement, I would knit the Halibut sweater, because seeing those fish emerge would be just so much fun. That will keep me busy for a few months while I recover from knee replacement surgery.

  • I’ve been looking for a pattern for a sweater just like the Esther from Petite Knit and I’d make it in Jane’s bluebell color to show off my eyes! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win this beautiful prize!

  • I just got back from Alaska, so am feeling a kinship with the Halibut pullover. Aubergine is my base color, with Cameo for the fish. Size 40 please. Loving it!

    Thank-You

  • It would be so fun to knit Eweye in Aubergine Mc1, bluebell Mc 2 & Yorkshire Mc3. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Outline Tee! Any color/all the colors!! Size XL

  • I love the Winter Suns shawl! I would make the large size and the color palette in the pictures is stunning.

  • Mmmmm. Has to be Esther, in the Juniper colorway.
Reason? Esther is my secret name. My birth name, but a name I hated after grade school, due to the nasty rhymes that came with it.
I’ve since legally changed my name, but secretly, I adore the biblical Esther, and I love Petite knits design for her. And the color Juniper is a match, peaceful, humble, quiet, and courageous.

  • Sooooo difficult to choose! Pressed Flowers Pullover is getting close to top of my list (as a gift for my sister in size 4). I’d use Aubergine as the main color and Persimmon as the contrast color. Thank you so much for this generous opportunity!!!

  • Snip scarf using Look Book colors

  • Love the patterns and especially love the subtle colors of Jane. If I had to choose one (for now), it would be Pressed Flowers in Shadow with CC Scarlet.

  • I can’t resist a Pressed Flowers pattern! I would love to make that pullover in Juniper, with Aubergine flowers!!

  • It has to be the SSP shawl. So cozy! Color 1: Bluebell, color 2: cameo, color3: scarlet, color 4 Yorkshire, color 5: shadow, color 6 peony. The palette is beautiful. Such a great prize.

    Donna

  • Robinia Light would be my choice(one of many) and would be a fairly challenging knit.

  • Robina Light would be a choice for me. This is a second comment because the auto fill for my email was wrong.

  • I’d love to make the SP shawl. I think the colors shown in the lookbook are perfect!

  • Halibut! As Shown! Size 4! What Beauty!

  • So hard to choose! But I love Winter Sun, it’s different from my normal fare and the palette is lovely. Fingers crossed!

  • How generous!
I have been pining after the Inflorescence Pullover by Teti Lutsak. I don’t know if Jane would work? Colors I’d love is Scarlet for main color and Yorkshire for accent color. Size woman’s L.

  • Robinia light for me. I would love to knit it with Scarlet as the MC and Peony as the CC. Oh, and size 3. Such a beautiful twist on the classic striped sweater.

  • So many great choices! First on my list…Robinia Light, size 7 in MC Aubergine and CC Cameo.

  • What a Delightful Giveaway! I would love to immerse myself in Jane’s Aubergine while I knit the Esther Sweater (S) and then happily wear it. It was fun to think carefully about each design and all the gorgeous colors!!

  • I would love to make the Pressed Flowers in size 4

  • I’d like to start with the Snip Scarf in Heather, Peony and Yorkshire in Jane with Rowan Kid Silk Haze in Aubergine.

  • Outline Tee- maybe in Aubergine -Dropped stitches ON PURPOSE?? Count me IN!!
Also, it will get much more wear in my mostly temperate climate…

  • The Paul Klee sweater in XL in colors shown. All of these patterns are so beautiful, and the yarn looks wonderfully squishy.

  • Thanks for making my middle name cool. So many choices, but I’d like to make the Slip stich party in the colors shown. It looks so cozy.

  • I love the Paul Klee sweater in the colors shown! XL. Thank you for the opportunity!

  • My goodness, you do make it hard to decide. But in the end I choose the Livresque Cardigan, size 3, in exactly the colors you showed! Perfect! Love it! Fingers crossed

  • I want to make Olga’s Eweye in persimmon, aubergine, and juniper. I just have to figure out the exact yarn amounts.

  • Would love to work the Nivalis Wrap. Great pattern and colors.

  • I would make the Pressed Flowers sweater in a size 6 for a baggy fit. It would be Shadow with Peony Flowers peeking through.
Thank you for sponsoring the give away. It’s such fun to dream of the possibilities!!

  • I love Copenhagen Calling.

  • Oooooh — MDK is so fun! I’d make Midori Hirose’s Paul Klee sweater in large — in main color Shadow and contrast colors as shown — except replacing Heather and Yorkshire with Marigold and Juniper.
    Fingers crossed!

  • I just moved to a colder climate, OK anything is colder than Florida, and I need sweaters!
I would love to make the Pressed Flowers sweater in aubergine for the background and persimmon for the flowers. I want a slouchy fit so size 4 for me. I can already see myself wearing this sweater while I did up more things from Jane yarn! Fingers crossed!

  • Oh my! I want to make the full size Novalis Wrap in bluebell and Yorkshire!

  • I love the Livresque cardigan. Size 4, I think, depending how how much ease is suggested. But I need help choosing colors; there are too many good ones!

  • Looks like a lovely yarn and I never tried that combination of fleece. Love Esther sweater by Petite knit because of that gorgeous red color! I don’t own a red sweater .
I am size XL. I hope you pick me!

  • I love the outline tee!!! I would wear it over a shirt, with jeans. As to the color, gray or purple would be perfect!!❤️❤️

  • I was looking at the Paul Klee sweater just the other day! I’d really like t make it. Size XL.

  • I would LOVE to knit the Halibut sweater in size 3 using Yorkshire as the main and shadow as the contrast. Thanks!!

  • Halibut sweater, colors as shown, size 5

  • They are all beautiful but I would have to go with the Novalis wrap in Yorkshire and Shadow.

  • What a thrill this would be!
Livresque Cardigan – size 2 – Marigold with Aubergine, Juniper, and Bluebell stripes –
    heavenly!

  • So pretty and so hard to choose.
Pressed flowers is my choice, size 6.

  • I love colorwork! So I would love to knit the Paul Klee Sweater. I would switch out the main color to be Heather. And I would substitute marigold for heather in the colorwork squares.

  • I love to do color work ! I would love to knit the Paul Klee Sweater in XL size. I would substitute Heather for the main color and switch out the heather in the color work squares for the juniper. All the other square colors I would keep the same colors. Thank you for the fun giveaway.

  • I’d make Pressed Flower Sweater
In Cameo and Aubergine. It’s so pretty!!

  • Definitely Robinia Light with Shadow as the MC and Yorkshire as the CC in a size 3.

Imagine knitting this along with a Jane Austin audiobook and a cup of London Fog…

  • I’ve been wanting to make a striped cardy for some time now, and the Livresque Cardigan is exactly what I envisioned. I’d make it in size 4, with Juniper as the main color and Aubergine, Peony and Marigold stripes. Yummy!

  • What a wonderful opportunity! Love all the choices and yarns, it is hard to choose. I would select the Livreaque Cardigan in size 4, colors: peony for the base, with bluebell, aubergine, and shadow for the stripes. Thanks so much for the offer.

  • Oh so hard to choose just one, but I just spent an hour looking at all of the projects on Ravelry for the Livresque Cardigan so I guess that would be a good place to start. Juniper and Yorkshire or Marigold and Shadow, size 4.

  • Livresque in the perfect colors shown, size 4, please.

  • Livresque caught my eye. The Halibut is everything, but color work in my climate is a no go. I wear 10-12, somewhere between medium and large

  • There are many designers in the Lookbook that I adore, but I have loved Amy Christoffers’ Pressed Flowers design since I first saw it. I would make in Scarlet or Aubergine plus Yorkshire in probably Size 4. Thank you.

  • Amazing choices. I would like to try the Outline Tee size L – Aubergine

  • Amazing Choices — I would like to do the Outline Tee in size L aubergine

  • Snip Scarf in the colors shown! All the choices are lovely!

  • I think I would do the Eweye in the green (as the main color), yellow, and pink. Something about that color combo calls to me.

  • I’ve been hoping to knit the Robinia Light sweater for ages! The Jane colors are all stunning but I love the Juniper you’ve chosen…or the persimmon…or the bluebell! I’m a size 2. Fingers crossed it’s my lucky day…..x

  • Love the Paul Klee Sweater–in the colors shown is beautiful!
    Size M2

  • I am so excited about Jane yarn! My first choice: the pressed flower sweater, MC scarlet, CC marigold. I’ve long wanted a sweater in the happy colors (Chinese celebration!} of red and yellow. Size 3. Pick me!

  • I would love to make the Livresque

  • Esther pullover sweater Size L — 11 balls of Jane in Yorkshire Jane and 6 balls of Kidsilk Haze in Dusk

I made the Esther cardigan this winter and got a lot of wear out of it before summer heat took it out of my rotation — eager for temps to head south!

Crossing every single digit possible until the winner is announced tomorrow, except when knitting of course.

  • I would knit the Paul Klee sweater but not in Green. I’m not a green lover. I would pick purple for the main body and complementary colors for the blocks in the yoke. I can visualize it now–looking really good. I think a size 2XL would be correct.

  • Hi! Lovely give-away, thanks (even if I don’t win). I’d like to try the Eweye shawl bc the technique looks like a lot of fun. I’m not quite sure which are the MC and CCs, but here’s my selection: MC Aubergine (Cameo in sample?); 1st CC Heather (Heather in sample?); 2nd CC Peony (Juniper in sample?).

  • oooh. The Setesdal hat by Arne & Carlos in the Jane colorway shown is my pick!! Thanks!

  • Thank you for the pattern inspirations and the giveaway! I think would like to start my Jane knitting adventure with the Livresque cardigan (size 4) with MC in Yorkshire and stripes in Aubergine, Juniper and Bluebell.

  • Eweye is calling my name. I love the greens but I would want a stronger crossing color. I like Marigold to make a gold chain design.

It was a hard choice with Aubergine a close second.

  • What a collection–so hard to choose just one! But I haven’t done any stranded knitting in a long time, and the Halibut pullover is so gorgeous–so I’d choose that pattern, size 6, MC Shadow and CC Persimmon (great choices, Anne!)

Thanks so much for doing this, and for bringing us such a wonderful new yarn!

  • I love the Winter Sun!

  • I love the Winter Suns!

  • I love the Nivalis Wrap. I do not have anything like it in my collection of handknits! Beautiful! I look forward to trying your Jane yarn!

I like the colors shown in the Look Book. I think they are Yorkshire and Aubergine.

Thank you for having the give-away!

    enewton1811@gmail.com

  • Deadline for entries is Monday, September 1, 11:59 Today is Monday September 2nd.

    • Forgot to add that my pick is Setesdal hat by Arne & Carlos ANY colorway.

  • I would make the Halibut sweater first. While I think the original colorway is lovely, I am wondering if I could substitute aubergine for the marigold? Or if you think the contrast isn’t the best, I could do the Yorkshire with aubergine fish. Thanks so much; Jane looks amazing!

  • I LOVE the Eweye, and the colors you guys chose are perfect! Thank you!

  • So hard to decide! However, I could use a basic with some interest in my wardrobe and would choose Esther in Yorkshire and whatever Kidsilk Haze would best coordinate with that – size XL. Pressed Flowers was a close second, but for me that’s more of a statement.

  • I would love to make Eweye in Aubergine, Peony, and Cameo.

  • Fingers crossed b

  • Thank you for doing a give away! I would love to knit the Livresque Cardigan in the colors shown, size 3. Excited to try your new yarn.

  • I’m most likely to make the Liversque Cardigan in a size 5, with the same lovely deep grey but switching up thr stripes to Yorkshire, Juniper, and Bluebell!

  • They are all lovely. I like the Levresque Cardigan. O loke the gray with the different color stripes. Prett.

  • So hard to pick, but EWEYE is just so intriguing.
Not easy to choose the colors either, but I think peony, marigold, and juniper.

  • Jane looks luscious…and I like the Copenhagen Calling cowl in the colorway as pictured. Looks like a sweet knitting project.

  • I think it would be fun to try the Eweye wrap. I would pair the greens in the look book with a blue, for an “earth and sky” theme.

  • I feel like I should chose something that maximizes yarn, but I’m in Minnesota where one cannot have enough hats. I’m voting for the Hat and Peak in your color selection. I looked at a lot of potential color combos, and I like the more subtle shifts you chose.

It’s also fun to see what designs draw in everyone else.
