Beyond Knitting
Special Time with a Special Person—and Office Supplies
This will be quick—I just have to share my excitement for our upcoming virtual workshop with Felicity “Felix” Ford on December 6.
Once in a while, we encounter a person whose very energy just makes us feel good. Felix is one of those people. A conversation with Felix is calming and elevating, smart, funny, validating, and full of love—all at the same time.
You meet Felix, and you just want to be with her for a while. It happened to me, and it happened to Ann, and I think it has happened to every person who has taken Felix’s in-depth online self-paced Bullet Journaling course.
Spending time in Felix’s world is a joy we want to share with you, beloved MDK reader. As a bonus, you will also be inspired by cool ways to make your journaling practice more meaningful and fun. Felix’s notion of the bullet journal as a home speaks to us on a deep level.
The workshop on December 6 will not be an in-depth bullet journaling course full of how-tos or note-taking. It will be two hours spent with Felix, and if we like, with any beautiful pens, pencils, stickers, or other stationery items we’ve been storing up. With Felix’s prompts, tips, and guidance, each of us can recap and remember the highs and lows of the year we’ve had, and look ahead to 2025.
I am looking forward to December 6 with hope and joy—and several hundred John Derian and Nathalie Lété stickers I’ve been saving “for special.” They are my precious-precious!

Please note: if you can’t make the live session, no worries. We will email the video recording link to everyone who has registered for the class, to watch or re-watch when the time is right for you.

This is a favorite task, setting up my new journal! Every year I change something about how it’s laid out… and can’t wait to see what new tips and tricks Felix has for us!
Those shells! Stickers are they? Beautiful and where from?
The John Derian sticker book (linked in the article). I find it hard to actually use them because they are so exquisite so I sent a copy to Atlas where they made joyful use of them immediately.
Oh NVM, I saw the link.
My MDK journal is almost full, perfect to start the new year with my new one!
