Dear Ann,

Thanks to the irrepressible Kristy Glass, nobody in the knitting world needs to be a stranger. We can virtually meet so many interesting knitters, designers, and yarn people, when they sit down with Kristy for a knit and a natter. (Kristy puts out videos so often that you really do have to subscribe to her YouTube channel if you don’t want to miss something good.)

When Franklin Habit reviewed Talitha Kuomi’s latest book, I had questions. Are the designs in it’s not me, it’s you inspired by a real breakup? Recent or long-ago? Watch the podcast and find out, and see the samples from the book.

Shoutout to eagle-eyed reader Robinsid, who steered me to Kristy’s great interview of Talitha (or Tal, or T—we know each other now).

Love,

Kay

  • Loved this from Kristy Glass , I have Tal’s Temporary on my needles right now.

  • Thank You for bringing something new into my life daily

  • watched the video, bought the book. I’ve never heard of her except for the update from Franklin Habit just a few days ago (I’ve downloaded his stories for my granddaughters!!). I loved the video and Talitha – think she is wonderful and love the idea behind her knitting.

  • Thanks! So much fun to watch. Not to mention inspiring.

  • I love Kristy Glass’s vlogs. Thanks for posting this because I haven’t seen one in a long time. T said the break up was from high school but certain songs she hears can bring her right back to that time. Now I want that book.
