Step Back, Step Up

Hello again, dear readers.

We are watching events in our country with deep sorrow. We can’t keep on with our joyful knitting chat as if nothing more important is going on. We’re going to step back for a bit, and instead we will work on educating ourselves and taking action, in what we fervently hope is a moment of real change.

Today, we’re re-listening to the podcast of The 1619 Project.

In Saturday’s letter, we shared a few organizations where we can direct financial support. Today we added: Equal Justice Initiative.

It’s also a good day to write to our elected representatives and demand change.
