Best of 2018: Books With Franklin
Franklin Habit has been one of our favorite writers since forever. It’s been a pleasure to share the fun of reading him since day one of our re-launch of MDK as a daily magazine for knitters.
Readers may wonder: do we assign books to Franklin for review? The answer is no. Franklin scans the world of knitting books, new and old, and sifts out the ones he wants to share with our readers. Ann and I learn what Franklin is up to in real time, almost at the same time as you. We trust Franklin to show us what’s fun and interesting, and he delivers.
Here are Franklin Habit’s reviews of 2018.
Enjoy!
Classic Kicks for Little Feet and Firmament
Three Books for the Crochet-Curious
Wool Studio and The Mitten Handbook
The Vintage Shetland Project and Shetland Oo
Vogue Knitting: The Ultimate Knitting Book
Martin Storey and Nancy Marchant
Thank goodness, there will be more in 2019.
Looking forward to Franklin’s reviews in 2019! Enjoyed the 2018’s, and actually added a couple selections to my library.
I don’t know how I became aware of Franklin but I adore him along with admiration of his style. Thanks for the message
When Franklin recommends, I listen! 🙂 His articles are so much fun!
