Happiest holiday wishes to all. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – life would be harder without this site and all it provides!
What a great wreath! Where would we be without our critters? For me that’s 2 cats, 1 dog, 2 horses, and, when we got home last night, a possum trundling across the porch. They are so prehistoric!
Love!! Happiest of holidays and kibble to all .
Merry Christmas to all at MDK. Hannah is so talented! And I love seeing her portraits of your beloved friends.
Thank you so much for the wonderful work you do. I learn from your newsletter. I can’t think of anything more personally pleasing than meeting your animal friends. Best wishes from Poppy and Violet.

Your site has been such a delight, especially during the pandemic. Baro
Sweet pictures of adorable friends.
Being in this rehab facility makes me miss my dog so much because she is always with me, all 8 pounds of her. She is a rescue that I obtained in July and she rescued me. When I went to the hospital on November 14th my mother had the Denver Dumb League pick her up because my mom is evil. My best friend had called my mother to find out about me and she found out about my dog and intervened and now she is staying with my neighbor. My little Maisie is a gift and animals are so important to our mental well being and I am so grateful for everything !
Thank you to all the MDK staff, contributors and readers who have brighten my days with great articles, funny comments, and lots of learning. Y’all have made 2020 much brighter and lighter for me. Happy Holidays!!!
“close follower” That’s funny.
Merry Merry Christmas and huge thanks for your wonderful blog which I read and enjoy every day!
This is lovely. Happy holidays to all at MDK xx
Thank you. My dog Lile appreciates the recognition.
Praying that everyone in Nashville is safe
love the animal drawings!
Love the wreath. I am inspired to do one for our dog-walking group. MDK emails and my dog, Sandy, are the two things that start my day…and add coffee.
I hope all of you are safe in Nashville and that your warehouse was not affected. One minute I am enjoying my MDK Field Guide collection. The next, I am talking with my sister who told me about the bombing. Devastating.
wonderful portraits of (wo)man’s best friends. A real holiday treat.
Merry Christmas to you wonderful people!
Happy Holidays!
Happy Holly Days to the MDK critters and their devoted human servants!
I’m sure I’m not the only one delighted by these portraits and wishing Hannah could draw Shep and Lou for me. They wish your furry and scaly crew a merry holiday.
Opal looks just like my sweet Field Spaniel, Ella.
She’s a big galumphing black-and-tan coonhound but will be very excited at being compared to an elegant spaniel!
Thank you for keeping us laughing with your terrific sense of humor-both of you! Especially in these trying times, it is a breathe of fresh air to check in with you, both! Happy Holidays!
Happy holidays, however you celebrate… and may you continue to be blessed by your beloved animal companions! Merry Merry from me… and Liesel (woof!)
Thank you for all the joy you bring to us. Just catching up with emails and news this Christmas night. Prayers tonight for Nashville.
How wonderful! Merry Christmas to everyone, and thank you, Hannah.
I always look forward to seeing the dog selected to be on the cover of the Orvis hunting and fishing Christmas catalog. Since my rescue dog is half Labrador and half Basset, he would would not be a prime candidate. So I named him Orvis. Here’s the mental picture, Orvis has the upper body of a Lab with little short legs shaped like a Basset hounds. He is as stubborn as a Basset and as joyful as a Lab puppy. He has been my strength during this year that and MDK which welcomes every morning at 3:30 A.M. to sit and knit while he goes outside.
Belated Merry Christmas and Happy 2021 – from Linda and knitting sidekick, Lucy.
