Inspiration
Greetings and Gratitude
To our fellow Americans here and abroad,
We wish you a sweet and cozy Thanksgiving day with family, friends, and food. A day of bounty and solidarity and remembering what’s important, what we’re grateful for, and what will last. And if you’re not celebrating, or not celebrating as you would wish, we hope the day lands softly for you and you get to do something you love to do.
We’re hoping for a spot of knitting after the pie.
We’re also spending at least part of this long weekend searching out where all the rubber stamps have gotten to and sticking stickers into our journals, in joyful anticipation of Felix Ford’s journaling workshop coming up on December 6. It’s an incredible deal for what we know to be a life affirming, joyful experience on so many levels. Find out more and sign up here.
We’re grateful for you, more than you know. Thank you for sticking with us.
Love,
Ann and Kay
PS If you’re hanging out in the bedroom for a little peace and quiet, we cordially invite you to have a happy wander through the amazing MDK Holiday Shop. Remember: now through Monday, we are offering free U.S. shipping on all orders of $75 and above. That’s a big deal for us, and a great deal for you! No coupon code required.
Hi
I’m English so I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving. I’m not celebrating Christmas much this year either.
Instead I’m having small feasts and nice things throughout the winter. I’ll be cosying up with a hot water bottle, blanket and socks – handmade of course – with some knitting, sewing or a good book, and my cat, Tom.
There will be good stews and soups, cakes and biscuits, candles, alcohol-free beer, cosy movies
Sorry I lost the end of that. There will be nice books to read too.
I think your Thanksgiving advice is important at all times of the year. We all have things to be thankful for, even if its just a roof over our heads, something warm, fresh water from the taps and a lovely cup of tea and some biscuits! I told you I’m British!!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Ann and Kay! We are grateful for you and your staff.
