Greetings of the Season
Beloved knitters,
The Solstice has quietly come and gone. Hannukkah just started, and Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Year’s Eve are coming right up. We feel the glimmers of light returning, and we hope you do, too.
We’re grateful to everyone who spends time—the most precious commodity—reading here, and everyone who supports our experiment in daily publishing for knitters, in any way at all. It’s all more fun—and it’s only fun—with everybody packed into the VW bus for the road trip.
We are thrilled to share this holiday illustration by Ashley Nelson Jackson, whose work has been so inspiring throughout this year. Olive and Kermit are huge fans, as are we. Thank you, Ashley.
And now, let’s get cozy! We’ll be here every day on the internet, but MDK’s offices will be officially closed December 24 through January 1. Orders received during that time will ship out starting on January 2.
May your nog be eggy, may your cat stay out of the paperwhites, and may your dog greet the mail carrier in an affectionate or at least nonthreatening way.

We had a wonderful mailman, who would always stop and talk. We had a rescue cocker spaniel who would eat anything = I was talking and the dog ate the Taco Bell. It was our post mans lunch.
