Pick up your knitting and the beverage of your choice and join Ann, Kay, and Fatimah Hinds for a sock odyssey!

Not only will you discover the methods (and mood boards) behind Fatimah’s madness, you’ll fully appreciate how a cabled, DK-weight sock is the perfect little laboratory for experimentation.

We’re so dang proud of this choose-your-own-adventure Field Guide 27: Sock Odyssey. This conversation and mini-class on sock architecture is our invitation to jump aboard for the trip.

  • That beautiful merino/silk/yak yarn! It glows! Those skeins are calling from the screen!

  • I will be knitting to this! A sock of course. Thank you all.

  • Heeeey MDK!
1st, thanks for Fatima (LOVE her)! Love her “pick a cable” mix-it-up patterns! <3

2nd, I SO want to see the art/artists that motivated & moved her in her color boards, but I was at work when this zoom went live and the chat is not accessible to me through the Vimeo link. Can you share her artist links with the rest of us? Please?

    • Working on it! Stay tuned.

  • Loved the zoom. I am absolutely going to knit the knee high socks. Just love them.
Quick question though. Fatimah’s hat? I just loved it. I have looked through her patterns and cannot see which one it was/is. Any chance of sharing the pattern name. I can’t be the only one who loved it.
