Knit to This: Jane Launch Party
So many of your Jane questions are answered during this simple and beautiful welcome to our simple and beautiful new yarn.
A few of the highlights:
- Why did Ann and Kay decide to build a new yarn?
- What does it take to organize intrepid sample knitters and beloved designs and the U.S. Postal Service?
- Where is the Halibut Capital of the World?
Along the way, Ann, Kay, and Special Guest Allison (a.k.a. The General) provide inspiration for what you can do with our dear Jane.
For even more ideas, please take a look. We couldn’t be more proud of what our new yarn can do.
It is so impressing that you got SOOO many samples, and excellent ones at that, knitted up as your introduction. I think it makes a huge difference in the way we perceive the yarn. I’ve spent the last several days going over and over both the yarn and the patterns. Have not ever done that in the past! So Kudos to you! Nice job!
Thank you! And to be honest: it was hard to stop knitting new patterns with Jane. She’s versatile.
Loved the Zoom meeting. Can’t wait to try the new yarn! It is beautiful!
How did the yarn come to be named Jane, and assuming this is a non-superwash yarn, how did the sample knitter of the Outline Tee find the process of dropping the stitches, was the yarn “sticky”? Thanks!
Robina pullover in size 4. Bluebell main and Yorkshire contrast for my blue eyed daughter. Also love the tee. Great patterns
Thanks for all the information
I love the Pressed Flower and the Robinia Light sweaters and the cardigan. Plus every single one of the accessories. Thank you for the pattern info. Wish I could join the launch of Jane, but I have a commitment that day. I hope you all have fun. Enjoy!
Theresa, the launch was last week; just click the video image in the banner up top to watch the recorded Zoom.
Thank you very much. I wrote the wrong date on my calendar. I really appreciate the link. All of the colors are so beautiful, I would have a hard time choosing. So when I make any, I will probably use the colors shown.
