Thanks to all the designers who made this exquisite selection of 64 patterns possible. We will be knitting from this list for a long time. We’ve already got our own printouts of the bracket preserved for all time in sheet protectors. (Kidding—they are folded into sixteenths and crammed into our wallets.)
Show the love, y’all! Support these designers by buying their patterns. Vote your hearts out.
Love,
Ann and Kay
Went and purchased the Rhinebeck Hat just for good luck.
Choosing one is ridiculously hard.
I agree! Love them all!
So difficult to choose since all 4 were in my original 16! Not telling which I chose…
Mine as well!
I’d love to see a photo of the inside of that hat before deciding. I know, not possible now, but… knitters like to see the insides of things.
Some of the Ravelry projects worked show the inside of the hat or have the brim flipped up a bit, which might help: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/wolfjoy/rhinebeck-hat

All four choices were in my original 16 and I wish we could just stop here with one for each category, as someone else has mentioned. At this point it’s like comparing apples and oranges and maybe eggplants too. (Must we mirror those basketball folks so closely?) Many thanks for all of the research that created this great list!

This last voting phase always seems like choosing among apples and oranges! (Must we mirror those basketball folks so closely?) I’ve been voting for these 4 since the first round, how can I single out just one…may have to close my eyes and just point. Thanks for all of the research that led to the great selections.
It’s interesting to note that the four finalists have a total of 924 designs among them.
I bought my yarn for Widows Kiss today. This was never on my favs list for voting, initially, but it has grown on me. I’ll be using Simply Sheep Cormo worsted in an orangish color. Now I’m excited!
All 4 were in my original 16 and 3 of those 4 made the Final Four! I missed Round 4 of voting (stupid flu), but since I had already made all my choices before voting (like a basketball bracket!), I think I’m OK. I’ve been waiting for this March Madness all year since I didn’t really understand everything last year. If I had spent as much time actually knitting than working on this bracket, I’d have my Arboreal sweater I’m still doing for the Bangalong all done! Too much fun from too many places!!
Not going lie, I was really pulling for Noten to be a finalist but if I can only knit one pattern, the shift coal defitenly ranks high up there!
I’m with Jennifer Davis. I loved Noten, but of all the candidates I actually saw only one in person. Twice. In two different colorways, both gorgeous. That was Shift. So that’s where my vote went. But would have loved to have seen all the others made up as well.
