MDK March Mayhem, Round 4: Vote
Dear knitters who can’t decide whether they’re happy or sad about how this is going,
Today, 8 patterns advance to the next round in the world’s greatest tournament of knitting patterns.
It’s time to vote in Round 4 of MDK March Mayhem. In this round, your votes will determine the Final 4. Each one of these patterns will be the winner of their cateogory in this year’s competition.
We can hardly believe how close the voting has been, and it has intensified with each round. If you love a pattern, please be sure to cast your vote for it—every vote really does matter.
How to Vote
Please read the following carefully.
The ballot appears on the MDK March Mayhem bracket page.
Here is the bracket. Vote here.
From these 8 patterns, voters must pick 4 patterns. You must pick one pattern in each of the four brackets in order for your votes to register.
If you’d like to keep track of your picks on a printable bracket, download it here.
(If you did this at the start of MDK March Mayhem, and your bracket is now busted into little pieces, we feel you! Go ahead and start over.)

I only see two Cate gives, not four!
Hi Brenda,
The bracket is too big to fit on one screen, so scroll down to see all four categories.
At least my pick in the sweater category is still alive – the rest of my brackets are shot!
Been meaning to thank you for the clever design of this. It took me a bit to understand that clicking on the item within the bracket showed its image. Once that sunk in, voting became so easy. Absolutely brilliant!
P.S. if you explained that and I missed the explanation, please accept my apologies. Spaciness can occur at the oddest times…..
Spaciness? That never happens to me HAhahahahahahaha.
Thanks for the kind words about the bracket design; we owe it all to a super clever web designer who was not afraid to take on a bracket of 64 knitting patterns.
Thanks for doing this! I’m working on a Dohne shawl to go with a dress I just purchased and have bought yarn to make the Big Sister.
Unlike last year I am still in it in ALL 4! Whoo Hooo!
Wow! Seven of the 8 patterns are ones I’ve picked and my top pick for 3 of the categories are still in. Either I’m really smart (doubtful) or these patterns are really popular. (That’s the one.)
The voting for round 4 isn’t working for me. I’ve signed in and tried 3 different browsers. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Hi Mickey! Voting for Round 4 closed at the end of the day March 28. Round 5 voting opens Friday morning, March 30–hope you’ll come vote for the champion of MDK March Mayhem.
