Staycation! Dana Williams-Johnson
We count our lucky stars that Dana Williams-Johnson started writing for MDK. She has given us banquets of food for thought. And she has also taken us on an endless joyride through the dozens of sweaters she has made for herself, her husband, and her tiny animal companions.
In a word, Dana is a multi-talented powerhouse. Here are three of her many posts.
A New Direction. Let’s be fearless together.
What to Knit During a Pandemic. Soul-soothing knits to brighten long days at home.
Hope in Every Stitch. Keeping on—with hope.

We love getting a box in the mail and we know a lot of you do too.
Not to mention the joy of Jellybean!
Looking forward to the next post by Dana. Always inspiring whether for knitting or for life, or even both in one post.
Just read this post and it put a huge smile on my face!! I just love that Dana and her fur baby have matching sweaters I am going to do this with my little man!
Always a joy to see her, and read her wonderful articles! Thank you MDK.
Love, love, love Dana’s posts as they are packed full of wonderful information and ideas. She really gets me motivated.
I’m looking forward to reading more of Dana’s posts and seeing more Jellybean (and Olive and Kermit, too). I can’t knit without the presence of our animal companions and their, er, “help”, so it always gladdens me to see what JB is wearing. Also, how is Dana doing on her doctoral dissertation? I had to quit may job and work on mine full-time to get it done. I hope she’s able to endure. Thank you MDK for sharing her knitting and pets with us!
Your daily posts are the only thing that I really look forward to receiving in my email because I always learn something new and this is a GREAT time to be a knitter ❤️
What yarns did Dana use in the pic of her and Jellybean. I love it! Thanks
I am so happy you have Dana Williams Johnson writing for you – she brings her joyful sweaters and deeply shares her thoughts and experiences, and I am so appreciative.
