Hi Ann and Kay,

I’m using the Elaine’s Capelet cable to knit a cropped version of the Liberty Tree Pullover. My bust measures 43″ and I like a bit of ease, so I’ll be making the fourth size. My yarn is Julie Asselin Hektos in Sherwood. It’s a gorgeous green with an undercurrent of rust and is SUCH a pleasure to knit.

I am so excited to get get going! Oh, and my plan is to extend the cable down the front. I’ll be adding a few extra stitches in the front after the short rows to make up for how the cable pulls in—more about that when I am there.

My yarn arrived and it is so gorgeous!

My stockinette stitch gauge is perfect on a US 6.

The first few rounds require concentration, but it’s so much fun to see the pattern developing (even though I’m the one who made it up).

I bought the embroidered tablecloth in a thrift shop in Providence many years ago. I love the colors and the amazing heavy linen.

Xox,

Norah
