Amanda Carr

Amanda Carr is a freelance trend forecaster for WGSN, where she specializes in fashion retail and fragrance, and at one point covered the exotic world of shop mannequins. For the past nine years, Amanda and her friend Jane Kellock have been holding forth at The Women’s Room, a daily style and inspiration blog for women over 40 who are not interested in validating stereotypes of the demographic.  Amanda is mother to three grown boys and a self-described fragrance obsessive. In the latter capacity, she has launched a new website, We Wear Perfume, where one can ogle gorgeous bottles and read stories of scent and the people who wear it.
