Amy Routman
Amy Routman is an architect and designer living and working in New York City. Painting and drawing are a meaningful part of her everyday life as well as her design process.
Amy’s work includes a wide array of projects and collaborations in addition to her architectural practice. She is a regular contributor to the online magazine, Aleim.com, with a series of interviews of various creative personalities. She is developing textiles and wallpaper based on her artwork through a new venture, ROAM Workshop. A series of her drawings will be published in an upcoming issue of Vintage Magazine on the topic of Music.
Amy is the daughter of a consummate knitter and sewer who has inspired and nurtured her love of fashion, craft, art and design. As tribute to the years of looking at knitting pattern books and fashion magazines with her mother, Amy is excited to explore the art of knitting through her illustrations.
