FIELD GUIDE NO. 3: WILD YARNS
Specs & Details
Inspired by a stunning sweater by Jen Wroblewski that Kay spotted in a yarn shop a few years ago. Jen is an artist working in New Jersey. She likes to knit, and she likes to freestyle her sweaters and other garments. When Kay and Ann started thinking about ways to use wild, colorful yarns for Field Guide No. 3, Jen’s sweaters immediately came to mind. Jen graciously gave permission to use her sweater as inspiration for a pattern, so that others could experience the fun of using richly colorful yarns in a piece that fits easily into an everyday wardrobe. It’s stunning but doesn’t scream “fiber festival.” It’s perfect.
It’s our new favorite sweater over jeans or a skirt. We hope to turn heads when we wear ours.
