A great hat, and the perfect starter project to introduce you to the technique of marling. Two colors make three stripe possibilities: two solid and one gently speckled.

Materials
Tynd by Woolfolk [50 g skeins, each approx 223 yds (204 m), 100% Ovis 21 Ultimate Merino]
Colorway 1 (Slate): 1 skein each 32 (A) and 31 (B)
Colorway 2 (Red): 1 skein each 29 (A) and 28 (B)
Colorway 3 (Sand): 1 skein each 21 (A) and 22 (B)
Size US 3 (3.25 mm) circular needle, 16″ (40 cm)
Size US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle, 16″ (40 cm), and double-pointed needles (set of 4 or 5), or size needed to achieve gauge
Stitch markers (including one unique marker)
