The Class
If you’re like us, choosing colors can be a big hurdle at the start of a colorwork knitting project. So much rides on our choices, and we can feel immobilized by all the options, or we can cling to safety, repeating familiar color schemes. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to know a few fundamental principles of color theory to ensure stunning colorwork?
That’s where Ann Weaver can help! With her education in fine arts and decades of hands-on experience knitting, designing knitwear, and dyeing yarn, Ann will give us tools we can use immediately to choose colors with confidence for all kinds of colorwork— stranded, intarsia, mosaic, brioche, or stripes.
And it will be entertaining! Ann will illustrate color principles with examples from fine art, design, knitting, and everyday life.

The Format
This will be a virtual event, held on Zoom. Due to the size of the group, participant mics will be muted, but the chat will be open. We will monitor the chat for questions and Ann will answer as many as time permits.
This class will be recorded. After the live session concludes, everyone enrolled in the class will receive a link to the video recording to watch and re-watch indefinitely.
